Absolutely the Worst Gift Card Experience – Avoid at All Costs I would strongly advise everyone never to purchase a gift card from this company. I received a $50 Nordstrom Rack gift card as a present on July 23, and when I tried to use it, it didn’t work/ on a watch list because I mistyped the accesscode while on my phone. I contacted customer service, who told me to call their 888 number to resolve the issue. So I did—only to be told there’s nothing they can do and that I need to email a separate department. I had already gone in person to one of their store locations, where they also said they couldn’t help. So let me get this straight: • You sell a gift card. • It doesn’t work. • No one at the store, on the phone, or over email can resolve it? • And I, the customer, get passed around with zero accountability? This was a gift, and now I’m out $50 with no help, just endless runaround and corporate nonsense. If your company can’t even manage to honor a simple gift card or provide real customer service, it says a lot about how little you value your customers. Save yourself the headache. Do not buy their gift cards and don’t give them as gifts unless you want to give someone a guaranteed hassle.

I usually enjoy shopping at Nordstrom, but the music they play in-store is a huge turn-off. They often blast rock music, which creates a tense and overwhelming vibe. It’s really not the kind of atmosphere I want when I’m trying to browse and shop comfortably. I find myself leaving sooner than I planned just to get away from the noise. It would be much better if they played something more relaxing and welcoming. Until they fix this, I might take my business elsewhere.

I like shopping at Nordstrom Rack but I never know what to expect. I either have the best luck and find some great deals or it's a total flop. I usually stop by during the clear the rack sales. I like shopping their shoes, bags, and accessories which are pretty organized. The clothes on the other hand are not and you really have to search through racks of tightly packed clothes with all different sizes.

Selection: This location has great inventory. Service: Excellent service. Thank you to Linda who was kind, patient and personable at checkout. Also, I want to acknowledge Cat (spelling?) and Abby who both went out of their way to help look for an item. Their efforts were successful, and I left the store feeling happy. Value: If you are looking for value in exchange for your money, then try buying designer clothes/accessories when possible. Parking is easy and free in the adjacent parking lot. I highly recommend this store and the staff, especially Linda, Cat and Abby!

I just visited there was outstanding variety of premium brands offered here. The diverse selection made my shopping experience enjoyable and worthwhile. The quality and range of products available are commendable. However, there is room for improvement in organizing the store layout for easier navigation. I really like this store. They have a lot of great products from Mac make-up, nail polish, shoes, sun glasses, jackets, and clothes (even plus size). The prices are discounted but not cheap by any means. #LocalGuides

My complaint is that this location did not let me use my gift card, I had a digital copy of my gift card that was given to me as a gift. They said I needed a recipt to use it, total racist manager named Devin. I had mentioned that I used the same card before at a different location and she said she won't be able to look it up since it will take 15 minutes.

I always find THE BEST designer items here at a fraction of the price and I’d say this location is the reason I continue to be in the Ambassador tier. It’s hard to leave empty handed. But, the best part of my experience is always working with Farley! She’s amazing. So sweet, funny and she always helps me find the best things. Sure, the line is long sometimes but they do their best to get it moving. The wait isn’t bad in my opinion and if you’re shopping then you should be prepared to wait a little, if that’s not your thing that’s ok but I wish people were more appreciative of the hard work the employees put in and were a little more kind to them.

A great spot for the essentials! I've been a long-time fan of Nordstrom Rack and this South Coast Plaza location has it all. They're stacked with the basics, elevated shoes and dresses, makeup, skincare, and accessories. I'm prepping for an upcoming trip and wanted to snag a pair of sandals that were good for extensive walking. Lucky for me, Nordstrom Rack is the place to be for summer accessories. They had tons of sandals and I snagged a pair of Tevas that were a great find. I also love their jewelry section. I've been building up my collection but have become quite picky on the metals I'll purchase. Everything here is high quality with very little wear and tear. Highly recommend NR for all your summer essentials!

I came here one day to purchase a jacket, along with a few other clothing items, to wear for my nephew's graduation. Since the store offers tailoring services, I left the jacket there to get it altered. During checkout, the cashier, Desiree, didn't seem very enthusiastic and barely made eye contact. While she said "thank you" and used the standard customer service phrases, I didn't feel like a valued customer. About a week later, I returned to pick up the jacket. I ended up waiting 30 to 40 minutes because the staff couldn't find it. The service manager, Devin, repeatedly asked if I had sent someone else to pick it up, even though I showed her my receipt and explained that I was the only one who had come in. The tailor eventually brought out a sign-in sheet confirming that no one had picked up the jacket. Devin then apologized and said she would "do some research and check the camera." I didn't get the jacket in time for my nephew's graduation, so I left the store still waiting for a refund. Again, I did not feel like a valued customer. Later, Devin left a voicemail saying she had checked the camera and saw that I had taken the jacket that day. That message shocked me. She was essentially accusing me of lying and trying to scam the store. This was despite the fact that I had the tailor's receipt, which clearly showed the drop-off date and the charge on my card. I felt insulted and even more like the store did not value its customers. I called back and firmly expressed how unprofessional their behavior had been. Devin said she would review the camera footage again with another manager. About an hour later, she called to apologize and admitted they had the jacket the entire time. They asked if I still wanted it tailored, but I declined, not wanting to risk them losing it again and blaming me. Based on this experience, I can confidently say the service at this store is a 1 out of 5. Management was disorganized and careless. They made a mistake, wasted my time and gas, and then tried to place the blame on me. Worst of all, they falsely accused me of theft. I will not be returning to this store.

Hi, I just wanted to share some feedback. The Nordstrom Rack dressing rooms have been really messy lately both inside and outside. It used to be a lot cleaner, but now there are so many racks piled up outside the fitting rooms that it feels really cluttered. It's gotten to the point where it's even hard to move around or find a place to park my cart nearby. It would help if there were more staff available to keep the fitting rooms and surrounding areas more organized, like it used to be. 2 stars for the experience. Love the items at this location but they definitely need to address the messiness.

It's usually a hit or a miss for me when shopping this Nordstrom Rack. Sometimes the styles and deals are great and other times, not at all. I came by for the recent clear the rack sale and it was a good sale day. I liked the bags and shoes selection best and found the biggest sales there. The clothes were nice but not available in my size. It's hard to find the right size because there were misplaced clothes. It could be more organized. The checkout line gets pretty long.

This location is a lot like a big warehouse with no signs to tell you where they have anything stored. Once inside, you won't see any cashiers. The are to your right, all the way at the corner away from the entrance. If you are looking for a specific department (women's, men's, etc.), you just have to wonder around (or ask someone) as they don't have signs hanging where you can look and find them. It's a big store so lots of stuff to go through. We found a couple of pieces to purchase and the line for the cashier, almost to the entrance of that area, went quickly. Just about 5 minutes to get checked out. Then you walk back the length of the store to the corner exit and back to the parking garage. Not my favorite Nordstrom Rack but worth walking around if you are in the area and have some extra time to explore. Enjoy!!!

I waited the longest I've ever waited in line at Nordstrom rack. I believe it was 25 to almost 30 minutes in line. There was three cashiers and things were moving slowly as I got closer to the front of the line one cashier needed to clock out and called the manager to cover her spot And I don't know what happened, but then it was down to two cashiers. The line was in getting longer and longer and clients were getting more and more upset. I would never go back to that location because of that reason the management should dedicate more cashiers.

I don't normally review Nordstrom Racks but this one deserves a review! There are SO MANY designer goodies so you'll always find something great but that's not the reason for my review. It's to shout out their best associate, Farley! She's awesome. She always goes out of her way to make sure she does her best. I come here about once a week though last week I found myself there 4 times mostly because of Farley. She makes sure I leave happy with my purchases and styles everything from top to bottom. I walk away with more than I brought to the cash wrap because Farley has the best suggestions and she stands out by providing exceptional service. she also takes time to build a great rapport with everyone who is lucky enough to meet her. Sure, there's a longer line here than most Nordstrom Racks but it's a busier area with great finds. They do their very best to move the line so don't remember to be kind and don't take it out on the staff. I was appalled at how rude and mean people were to them as if they purposely made them wait. I come here for my two favorite F's - Fashion and Farley! Hopefully you'll get to meet Nordstrom Racks superstar Farley when you shop. If you do, I'm sure you'll leave with the most epic items. Thank you, Farley! See you soon!

I generally have terrible luck at Nordstrom Rack. I wear a 16 tall, I can definitely never find pants in a store so I'm used to that, but usually I can find some XXL tops. The other Nordstrom Rack's we've been to, my husband will find armloads of clothes and I've got nothing. No plus sizes. But this Nordstrom Rack actually had plus sizes, and they were easy to find on their own racks. A bunch by Max Studio, Lucky Brand, Calvin Klein... So I could get clothes, not just shoes and purses!

UNBELIEVABLE! I was actually called stupid by a store employee here named Gisselle. The only reason I came to this Nordstrom Rack location was because I had a Nordstrom Note to use before it expired. First of all, the store has been rearranged and everything looks like a big fat mess! Straps of tops, dresses, athletic wear, etc are all tangled up on the racks. Sizes are all mixed up. The amount of clothing crammed onto the racks makes it difficult to even look at what it on the racks to begin with. I found a couple of items to use my Nordstrom Note on and headed to the checkout. Of course, here we go again with the phone number escapade. I explained to the cashier that there is no number linked to the card, but I get points by using the card. She scanned my items and used my Nordstrom Note. I decided to activate my triple points day since I rarely shop here anymore and the total was around $100. I figured I'd get some points since I was making a purchase. The cashier said she couldn't activate the points without the phone number and I explained to her that I've never needed a phone number in the past to activate the triple points day. The cashier then got the manager to show her how to do this on their computer system. While waiting for the manger to come over, Gisselle was standing next to my cashier and overheard my situation. I then WITNESSED Gisselle turn to the cashier to her other side and say "this customer is so stupid." WOW! I've had a lot of different experiences shopping at a variety of different stores and businesses in multiple states and different countries and I have never been called a stupid customer right in front of my face! This is completely unacceptable and shocking. It just goes hand in hand with the downfall of Nordstrom Rack. The manager came over and showed my cashier how to apply the triple points to my purchase using the computer system and turned out I, the so called "so stupid" customer was correct. I never did get an apology from Gisselle. The fact that Gisselle felt so comfortable to even say such a thing in front of a customer is baffling. I'd never do this at work and if I did this in front of a customer or client, I'd definitely be hearing about it from someone higher up and probably get written up for unprofessionalism at the minimum. Just another reason to NOT shop here! UNREAL!

I just shopped here on a busy weekend night and had a positive experience. The clothing racks were well organized and labeled by brand & size, the fitting rooms were clean, and the staff were kind. Easy parking at this shopping center too! I've been wanting a pair of skinny jeans, but they're "out of style" at the moment so other stores aren't selling them at the moment. I was happy to find plenty of different ones to try on here.

Justin assisted me to make the purchase of a new suit. He showed me various fabrics and weaves to give me an idea of what Nordstrom's had available for my size and body type. While I was not in need of shirts, socks, and belts he was sure to inquire with me. The only negative is the tie that he brought to show me. It is my fault for not stating so up front but I only wear silk ties. It never occurred to me that Nordstrom's would carry satin ties but they do and that is what I purchased. It will be going back. The corresponding knot is the size of a football after I complete a double Windsor. Overall good. It is not the Nordstrom's of years past but it is still good customer service.

tl,dr: My go-to shop for athletic shoes. Likes: + I like that despite their crowded asiles, they categorize their active shoes. + I like that they give paper bags without extra charge, unlike the neighboring shoe store. + Unlike the other store which closes an hr sooner, this store closes at 9pm on weeknights. Gives me more time to find what I need. + The shoe aisles are taller here than at the neighboring store. Meaning, you see more options per aisle here. Non-likes: - The shoe ailes here are disorganized and very cramped. People leaving shoes lying about. Kinda hard to find what you're seeking here, unlike at the neighboring shoe store. - The store was very crowded, so I had a little more difficulty finding what I needed while being careful not to bump into other customers. - Unlike the neighboring department store which focuses on just shoes, this department store sells a variety of things, like women's clothes, purses, and perfume. This plurality means it is not focused on just shoes, so it may be a little harder to find just the right shoe for you here. - I found a pair of shoes with a smear. I requested the cashier for a discount. Unfortunately they don't do that, so the lady simply wiped the smudge off. That was very nice and patient of her though. I paid: $64.97 running shoe + $62.97 running shoe + tax = $137.86

Let me start with, I LOVE shopping at this location because, let's face it, it is hands down the Rack with the best selection. I always find such amazing deals and the cutest styles! And shoutout to the cashier from my latest visit, Judy, she was the sweetest, most pleasant woman and totally made my checkout experience feel so much easier and quick. Judy, you are a gem! BUT seriously Nordstrom, my goodness, the checkout LINE is RIDICULOUS! On three separate occasions, I've had to abandon all of my finds (that I really wanted to buy) because the wait was just unbearable ( well over 45 to 50 minutes and still not at the front!) And the wait time gets completely out of control because now the checkout line is the SAME as the customer service/returns line?? So obviously it is chaotic, especially since it's always super crowded at this store and the lack of separation just leads to giant crowds in the checkout area. Forget about any semblance of social distancing--it's not happening in this store. What happened to having a separate customer service line for returns and questions? Returns take SO much longer than purchases and it's honestly unfair to those of us who just want to shop and check out quickly when we have the opportunity on our breaks or days off! As much as I love this store, the experience of waiting in that endless line is such a turn-off that I don't shop here as often Please fix the line so I can shop in peace again!!

I like this Rack because of the large selection of items. But I'd like to know when their "policy" regarding payment changed. I wanted to pay for my $200+ worth of items today with a gift card that did not cover the total amount, and then my debit card for the remainder. I was told they could only take one card and the rest could be covered with cash. It was very frustrating.

Was shopping in the men's section and found a couple of Bugatchi shirts. Normally ~$200 and marked down to about half price. This is exactly what I came in for. While browsing I found a Jacquemus shirt with no tag. I went to the dressing room area where three young ladies were working the racks outside the dressing room. I asked one of the ladies if she could please find out the price. First, she did not acknowledge me speaking to her.....fine, perhaps she was concentrating on something else. I asked again and she replied, "This is designer so you know it's not going to be like 10 bucks." Her, first line of communication.....not good. "Well, do you still want the price?" Sadly, I really wanted to purchase the shirt and would have paid a few hundred dollars. I had to walk away as I would rather take my Icon status to another department store whose workers don't judge whether or not I can afford to pay more than $10 on a piece of clothing.

We came here last minute in dire need of some footwear for my friend's wedding! Stopped in on Saturday morning for the event later that evening. I know, very last minute. We should have planned better lol But- this goes to show you that even last minute, you can find what you need here! Norstrom rack is great. It is similar stuff to Nordstroms but cheaper. The quality of products is really good. They have it all here. Anything from purses, shoes, to sunglasses or suitcases. Whatever you are shopping for, you can find here. This location is organized and very clean. We both found something to wear to the wedding. He found some nice dress shoes and I found a decently priced pair of heels ($50). Score! We plan on coming back to shop for our vacation coming up.

Nordstrom Rack is THE place to shop for shoes! All year round they have the most shoes & shoe sizes available from 4 and up. I shop both in stores and through the app, and this weekend I made purchases via both! I still love to try on my shoes & clothes before buying, and the Metro Point location they has aisles and aisles of my small shoe size! This is the only physical store that will always have a ton of what I'm looking for, all in my size. Ordering online is also great with the option to either ship to the store, or my home. I usually shop here during the holiday sales like the extra 40% Presidents Day Sale that they had going on this past weekend. I got such great deals on boots off their already discounted prices! Score!

My mom is a huge Nordstrom Rack girlie so I tag along occasionally. The Costa Mesa Rack is actually one of the cleaner ones that my mom and I have shopped at! The selection here is vast but also typically well labeled. It doesn't take my mom and I to find a specific brand that we like, even if the brand is on a circular hook line. Their floors are also usually clear of fallen clothes, shoes, and debris, so that's a huge plus. There aren't many retail staff down on the floor, at least from the times I've been here, but it's kind of a 50/50 on quality of service at the registers. I've gotten the handful of retail staff at the register that have been having a bad day to say the least, but I try not to dwell on it for too long. As for value, you make of it what it is! There's a wide selection and a varying price range for you to choose from, but the styles aren't for everyone. I've found some really cute long skirts and shirts from Rack that's saved me a good chunk of change, so I'm sure I'll continue to shop here.

MY Favorite Mermaid Cornelia Guest is swimming over from Mermaid Island for Dinner tonight, something fishy at Crab Cooker she will paddle over to Surf Shop for some suits and tops as Mermaids get their legs when they are in love, I have a White Dress form the Rack for tonight and lots of swim suits for beach treasure hunting, she says she knows where all the hidden pirate treasure is in Newport, OH yes Cornelia buy your my real treasure here on Land!

If you want to enjoy a pleasant shopping trip, avoid this Lucy S. lady at all costs. I've had her ring me up twice. The first time I figured, "everyone has bad days", today, she actually pouted as I put my stuff on the counter. No hello, nothing, just a full blown pout and roll of eyes! I tried picking everything up and said I'd wait and go to a different register and I told her I didn't want to bother her and there was no need for attitude. I'm so upset that twice in a row I go to this store and get treated so rudely. I walked out shaking, wanting to cry and hope no one else experience something like this. I will obviously not be back to this location!!

JOE in the womens shoe department is amazing....He's friendly, and helped me as soon as I walked up. I went to exchange a size, that luckily they had, and I'm happy it went smoothly, with a friendly person helping me. He lso gave me a sample pack of Chanel perfume and facial products. DO NOT PURCHASE NORDSTROM GIFT CARDS I recently purchased several NORDSTROM Gift Cards. When one was used for a purchase, I was informed that there were no funds on the card. I returned to TARGET on Adams in HB, where the cards were purchased and ended up having a very unsatisfactory conversation with the store manager. I was redirected back to Nordstrom CustomerFinancial Services department where copies of receipts and the gift card were provided to initiate the process to 'unfreeze' the funds on the card. Promised turn around time 24-48 hours. I had to contact them and was basically told I was out of luck and I could contact my local police department to initiate a fraud investigation, but they were very clear in implying that they think the card was used and I was trying to get away with fraudulently trying to get money out of them. The Customer Financial Services department would not connect me with a supervisor who could assist me. The back and forth BS between Nordstrom and Target was ridiculous. I will never use Nordstrom gift cards again, nor will I purchase a gift card again from Target. Neither NORDSTROM or Target made any attempt to provide any level of customer service or support. Nordstrom seemed just fine in knowing I had been swindled out of $100. I will share this story of horrific Nordstrom customer service with everyone I know who shops at Nordstrom.

Used to be much better. Nordstroms rack has replaced JC Penny with decidedly lower quality and cheaper clothing and accessories. I find it hard to find anything on interest whereas before I had no trouble finding a Tommy Bahama shirt or quality sports coat or the occasional suit, and a Taylor in store. The shoe department is similarly degraded to the point where it isn't worth the time to browse the selection.

I wanted to give a shout out to the manager Sylvia and Santiago (I believe) that assisted me with an issue that I had with my purse that I purchased that was still under warranty. Santiago assisted me by checking to see if the purse was available in store and when it wasn't, he was able to find the same purse at the other locations. Sylvia was able to assist me with such kindness and understanding, which took a lot of the stress off. I really appreciated both their help!

Love shopping at Nordstrom Rack. I always find good deals here. Large selection of women's clothes and lingerie. I also checked out their selection of shoes. Giving this location one less star due to the slowest checkout line ever. It was around closing time and I was 3 rd in line. There was only 2 registers open. Still took over 20 minutes to check out. If I was the manager here I would put all staff at checkout so customers can leave and you can close the shop early. I left and saw tons of people waiting in line checking out. Yikes.

Tried to return an item (had the receipt ready to go). The return email said to go to checkout or order pickup. I wait in line at order pickup and when I get to the front of the line they tell me they don't do it and the automatically generated return email was incorrect. Whoever is managing this store, figure your shit out. Why would I line up at checkout which is longer than the order pickup line? And why is there only one person working at order pickup, and they have to run back and forth between the counter and going to pick up boxes? Talk about poor management!!!

Avoid this location - it always has a line. The return line is the same line as the checkout line when it can be merged with the "order pickup" line?! What a taste of time! Returns used to be so much easier. What happened?! The parking is also a hassle.

I've been a big fan of deep discounts on luxury clothing brands. However, in 2022 I ran into my first big issue, I bought some clothes for my daughters in November for X-Mas presents, and by the time they opened their presents, I was no longer able to return the items. I chalked this up as, well, I guess I won't buy clothes for Christmas again. And then in March 2024 I went to return some items I bought online for my daughters, the last two items that were delivered were the items she didn't want, so I went the next day and they told me the items were "Final Sale", which meant I could not return. I asked the cashier how am I to know an item was a final sale before I purchased it. The manager came over and said there was nothing I could do and I had to keep them. Going home I looked up the items I purchased, under a small section of 'returns' at the bottom, it says they cannot be returned. Why not have this in red at the checkout spot? Because they know you will not purchase a final sale and they need you to buy the items. I would give this a one star except the clothes are good, but I won't be buying as much and I will be paying attention to the details

This is a negative review about the store manager Shaina N. at Nordstrom Rack in Costa Mesa. I bought several pairs of shoes online, they didn't fit me, so I went to Nordstrom Rack Metro Pointe to return them. The cashier told me she couldn't return one pair because it was marked as "Final Sale" on her screen. I was surprised because there was no mention of Final Sale when I purchased them. I explained this to the cashier, showed her the website with the shoes, and she saw that there was no indication of Final Sale anymore, but still refused to return them. She didn't want to understand my situation. I asked to speak to the store manager, she said she was the head manager and wouldn't help me. She was not polite or friendly when I explained it wasn't my fault and I wanted my money back. She just kept repeating that she was the manager and couldn't help me. Then she told me to take my shoes and leave the store because I was distracting her. She called a female security guard to escort me out. What kind of manager refuses to even listen to you? She was completely unprofessional, stubborn, and rude, humiliating me by having me forcibly removed from the store, which upset me greatly. At the same time, I called Nordstrom Rack customer service, explained my situation, and within minutes, the representative confirmed that there was no indication of Final Sale when purchasing these shoes, apologized to me for the rude behavior of the store manager in Costa Mesa, and immediately sent me a shipping label to my email to return the shoes. That's what I call service--willing to listen and help in a situation, unlike Shaina N., who would have called the police on me if she had her way. A very bad impression of their service at this store. I won't be going back there. Avoid this store if possible.

Wow! This Nordstrom Rack is awesome!!! Great selection. Amazing discounts; look for the red tags for even further markdowns. Got a pair of waterproof Gore-tex Converse Chucks here yesterday that I have been searching for. Best part, it was only $60...cheapest I could ever find at the Converse store at the outlets was $99. The staff are also amazing. Cleaning between customers when they pay. Thank you for all that you do to keep us safe.

I would of gave 1 stars but since this location has plenty of selections I have it an extra star. Reason for the low rating, a lady with glasses at the fine jewelry section had difficulty on basic customer service. I asked her if the jewelry have additional discounts, and she replied back sarcastically and said NO. I told her Saks Off 5fth have similar items and they offer additional discounts in which she rudely replied back, we ain't Saks and this is a Nordstrom Rack! Obviously I knew that...I was surprised how inconsiderate an Associate in the fine jewelry department acted. She might of had a bad day or very unhappy with working there, nevertheless she should not treat customers like that, especially at the fine jewelry department. Time to retrain her on customers service skills 101 or get another job.

Jaqueline customer service who works at the dressing room was really rude thinks people are dumb and I was clearly waiting outside for my wife. And she kept telling me to move back as if I was a dog. She needs to realize no one is below her we are all equal.

Nordstrom, please take note of this review because people who shine at their jobs deserve to be rewarded. I had a package delivered to the wrong address and it was returned to this Nordstrom location. Alina reached out to me immediately and long story short, she and Daniel spent a week helping me sort out issues that did not originate from this location (the issue was where it was shipped from). They are both incredibly friendly, helpful, and super patient! They went above and beyond to help me and I'm so thankful for them (there's gotta be a holiday for that, right?). Seriously, please give them promotions/raises/amazing Christmas bonuses. They've more than earned it!

Pre-pandemic I shopped this location a couple of times and found good deals on high-quality brands. I wear a size ten shoe in women's, something that is basically impossible to find during a sale at any department store, let alone a discount spot like the Rack. Why only two stars? I'm shopping online in their extra 25% off clearance sale with approximately sixty-five dollars worth in the cart. The free shipping banner across the top of each page says it kicks in at eighty-nine bucks; this seems kind of high so I select the pickup at store option ... and it doesn't change! They'll still charge you ten bucks to pick it up unless you hit that eighty-nine dollar minimum. No, thanks. I dumped my cart.

I recently had an incident at the Nordstrom Rack Metropointe location. I was in the children's section, this evening, and had to move a rolling rack just to get into the section. But me and my nephew and niece were looking at the toys and had found one for my niece and moved to the other side of the area. As we came back around my nephew tripped on some stuffed toys and I had to help him from falling.    But what surprised me was the aggressive approach the employee had to my nephew. He accused him of stepping on the product and throwing it on the ground. When I called him out on his rudeness he said he didn't care. He kept coming at my nephew scaring him. I asked him to move away and he told me he didn't have to as that he was an employee. I told him to move away or I would call the police. I literally had to shout at him to get away. I then moved to another section and asked another employee for the manager.  Which she walked me to the manager and I relayed the rudeness of the employee to her and she said she would talk to him. I was so livid that my nephew was so scared. At this point, hearing my nephew say how sad he was, he's 8. Just made me think that this employee needs to be reprimanded. Maybe even fired. No child should ever feel threatened like that. Especially from an adult.  I visit this location often. I don't feel comfortable knowing someone like that works at the store and will not be visiting again. I just want to make sure others are aware of the aggressive employee at this location.

Best Nordstrom rack around! I highly recommend it to anyone that likes to save $. They have SO many high-end stylish items for the best prices. The savings on designer purses are insane. I can spend hours in the shoe section alone. Not to mention all the employees are so kind & helpful. I have many more great things to say about this place, but you should just come check it out for yourself!

Although this location has better sections than others in OC, I only feel that the sales at the women shoes are helpful; the rest dept is just so so! We went to the kid section to look for some kids shoes. First, they only had one guy working there comparing many sales at the women shoes and men shoes sections; that's ridiculous! Perhaps kids shoes make the least commission; therefore, they didn't have many staff willing to work there?! No idea! When we first got there, they were not busy, so we grabbed three different shoes and asked the guy to find sizes for us to try on. The guy said he will bring them out, so we were waiting for a while understanding that he was the only staff working there and he might get busy. Anyway, he came with the same pair of shoes with two sizes and told us he was going to bring the rest shortly. After 15-20 mins, the guy didn't come back and finally he came back and asked if we have been helped!? I was confused and said you were the one helping us and informed us that you would bring the rest of the shoes out for us. He was like which shoes (I don't know if he got stoned or what?!) I said one Nike and one hi top black converse...he was like oh we don't have the sizes without even checking!!! We got similar service at the kids section at the Irvine spectrum Nordstrom as well. I guess maybe Nordstrom should close down the kid's department if they don't want to train or assignment more helpful staff to help!
