I came here one day to purchase a jacket, along with a few other clothing items, to wear for my nephew's graduation. Since the store offers tailoring services, I left the jacket there to get it altered. During checkout, the cashier, Desiree, didn't seem very enthusiastic and barely made eye contact. While she said "thank you" and used the standard customer service phrases, I didn't feel like a valued customer.
About a week later, I returned to pick up the jacket. I ended up waiting 30 to 40 minutes because the staff couldn't find it. The service manager, Devin, repeatedly asked if I had sent someone else to pick it up, even though I showed her my receipt and explained that I was the only one who had come in. The tailor eventually brought out a sign-in sheet confirming that no one had picked up the jacket. Devin then apologized and said she would "do some research and check the camera." I didn't get the jacket in time for my nephew's graduation, so I left the store still waiting for a refund. Again, I did not feel like a valued customer.
Later, Devin left a voicemail saying she had checked the camera and saw that I had taken the jacket that day. That message shocked me. She was essentially accusing me of lying and trying to scam the store. This was despite the fact that I had the tailor's receipt, which clearly showed the drop-off date and the charge on my card. I felt insulted and even more like the store did not value its customers.
I called back and firmly expressed how unprofessional their behavior had been. Devin said she would review the camera footage again with another manager. About an hour later, she called to apologize and admitted they had the jacket the entire time. They asked if I still wanted it tailored, but I declined, not wanting to risk them losing it again and blaming me.
Based on this experience, I can confidently say the service at this store is a 1 out of 5. Management was disorganized and careless. They made a mistake, wasted my time and gas, and then tried to place the blame on me. Worst of all, they falsely accused me of theft. I will not be returning to this store.
