Nordstrom Rack The Mall of Georgia Crossing

I seldom leave reviews after making a purchase but almost always read them before buying anything. A sign of the times I guess. I’m not a fan of the mall or walking around for hours to buy one thing but today I went to Nordstrom Rack in Buford for the first time and was helped by Isabel. I have never encountered such a cordial, knowledgeable and pleasant sales associate ever. Especially in a discount store where you will be hard pressed to find any help at all. Although I did not find what I needed in my size I will be checking back with Isabel later next week 👍.

I was in a rush for finding these boots for my daughters birthday present. When I got to the shoe department, I was greeted by an amazing employee named Anthony Perez. I had been looking for weeks for this specific shoe, at multiple stores and was out of luck. When I then came to this Nordstrom location, this employee was so helpful finding them after showing a picture of what I was looking for and I couldn’t have been more grateful. My daughter was so happy to get what she wanted.

Came to buy a pair of dress shoes but the selection was poor and when I asked for help on sizes it seems the employees disappeared into the backrooms never to return. After a 2hr ordeal to what should have been 30min I left frustrated, went to get a cookie at the crumble place to appease my blood boil... don't bother with this store, customer service is ABHORRENT

The cashier asked me to open a credit card. I told her I had one but closed it last year. She said I could still get $40, so she opened it for me. Then she said I wouldn’t get the $40 after all. I'm upset because she wasn’t honest from the beginning and lied to get a bonus, which is not right to wasting Coustmer’s time

I came at the store a lot of time and I came this the second time to Same lady customer service. Her name is Isabel. She’s really rude. Every time I bring something to return and I have my receipt and I bring my credit card with me every time you pay on your Nordstrom credit card, then they will show up when you buy it and what you bring them back she been checking she been asking me A lot of stupid question make me really mad. She’s really bad cut so it’s not one time. I have the receipt and I have my credit card show up to her. Today I’m Very disappointed at the customer service her name is Isabel. You got to need to check on her.

Shopping experience at Nordstrom Rack was fantastic! Great customer service. The floor representative that I interacted with was very courteous and pleasant. The store was very well lit. Although the traffic was intensed, the overall experience was well worth it.

This is a great spot for footwear, handbags or eye wear. I really like the high quantity of selection they provide. They music keeps you up beat while shopping and it’s clean and neat. So finding your size isn’t a problem. I would have given it a five if I was greeted by the employees.... Maybe next time

Goooood Lord! Save yourself time & avoid this place. 4 slow cashiers just dinkering around ignoring the line of 5 people. Customers all looking at each other wondering WTH was going on. Literally stood in line for 20 minutes to get one shirt. Lazy workers that aren’t customer service focused… ultimately poor management overall.

No one on the floor for assistance. Selection seemed adequate if you're looking for basic stuff in shabby condition Items just don't compare with actual parent establishment

We got what we needed due to the great selection. The layout of the store made for quick and easy shopping.

This is the location that actually made me a fan of Nordstrom Rack - always clean and the associates are friendly, quick and respectful of your time. It's hit or miss when it comes to finding what you want in your size, but I think most people know that going in. Best news of all, you can make your Nordstrom returns here as well.

Nordstrom Rack is a great place to go if you like high end things at great prices. They are encouraging mask wearing and limiting the number of customers in the store. There is hand sanitizer as soon as you walk in. The stock is a bit lower than pre corona but many of the items have been marked down.

I like some of the bargains that I can find but the lines /waiting for someone to take my payments is always a problem at this location. I don't understand why one would schedule only 2 people at a register on a Saturday afternoon. There were 23 people in line today. That is no good for the employees or the customers.

The description of the store says department store, shoes, womens clothing but it should also say mens clothing. I don't shop for mens clothing (maybe someday) but I was surprised to see the selection they have and it's quite extensive. They do also have the other items they already mention. Wish their kids department had more to offer though. Their current selection of girls clothes is dwindling.

Personally, this is my one stop shop for shoes. I love Nordstrom Rack. Ever since my sister first took me to one in Chicago, it has been love ever since. Love? that sounds crazy, right? For guys, it is hard to find a nice pair of shoe in size 13. Almost every time I find a nice pair of shoes they usually are 8-11. This Nordstrom Rack is huge, as it is right across the street. So whatever they do not sell at Nordstrom, they bring over here. If you are guy, they have shoes here all the way up to size 23 and of course, if you are a lady, they have a huge selection for you as well. For each size, they have an entire isle side, for some, they have two. If you wear 12-13, they probably have at least 100+ pairs to look through and everything from basketball, soccer, walking/jogging/running, sandals and dress shoes. This location also sells some really nice suits and has an excellent selection of designer jeans, usually the ones that go for about 200-400, you can get here for about $80-$150. Now, you might be asking, who would be insane enough to wear $400 jeans? you will never know until you try them on. Besides, you get what you pay for. A pair of Diesel jeans (usually about $170-220 retail) will last you 10+ years; wrangler will not. Here you can get 2 pairs for the price of one. If you have children, the shoes here are really nice. I'll never understand why kid shoes are so expensive, after all, it is 1/4 the material, but the prices here are very reasonable. I love my kids, but spending $60 for a pair of shoes is absurd, especially for boys who go through shoes every 2 months. You can get a really nice pair of shoes here in the $18-30 range. They just recently started opening up kiosk stations now in the store. So when they get busy, they open these extra lanes where shoppers can be quickly checked out. I am so glad they did this, because on the weekends, those checkout lines can get long. This store is great for those who like high end merchandise, but just without the retail pricing. Depending on what you are looking for, this store is exactly what you want, or is not. If you like this type of stuff, your love this place, if you usually shop for clothing at Walmart, this place is probably not for you.

Love, love love! Recently moved from New York to Georgia and I fortunately a lot of things were lost in transit, and many left behind. I built up the basic using Nordstrom Rack and honestly couldn't be happier. I'm talking clothes, skincare, and jewelry. Most importantly; quality products at bargain prices. Thumbs up from the new Georgian.

YES, THEY STILL HAVE STUFF LEFT! I love being able to walk into a store after Christmas and not know it is "post holiday shopping" because the store is so well-stocked that it still has plenty of inventory remaining. I visited this store with the intention of finding a pair of comfortable and casual shoes. They had a great selection of shoes and many of them on clearance with an additional 25% off the lowest price. Although I did not find my ideal pair of winter worthy shoes, I did score a pair of hot pink slides that are way more fun! I love shopping here for shoes because they have great quality options and are one of the few remaining stores with more leather than non-leather options. Though-out the store, you will find various items on sale. They still have plenty of warm weather gear, clothing and accessories left to purchase so this is a great time to go shopping and treat yourself. Don't be afraid to spend some of that Christmas money! ***Check out was quick and easy.

Love this place. Always a great selection and shopping is a breeze. Checkout is never an issue and their shoe selection is great too!

If you live OTP N.Gwinnett/S.Hall, you already know about this store, if not it's almost totally hush hush... you can get Ben Sherman, Puma, RVCA and occasionally Fred Perry here! Most of the stuff is club/office wear but there's a place for all of it... and cost is great! Vans for $19.00 USD! Puma's for $39.99USD!

I'm a very punctual person, sometimes too much. That's why when I have some free time before meeting some friends up here in Buford, I like to snoop around and make frivolous purchases at Nordstrom Rack! Men, you need to buy your ties here; you can't go wrong with a patterned Penguin tie that costs freaking $15 or less! I have bought plenty and haven't even had the chance to wear most of them. I like to open my tie drawer and quietly whisper "I'm so rich" and then look across the mirror and see myself as Carrie Bradshaw with ties instead of designer shoes. This location also has such a great "home" and "bath" selection which is located to the right of the store, past the jewelry section. They have bathmats, towels, shampoos, bowls, dishes, cologne, and a whole lot of things that I wish I could have. My latest purchase was a gift for a friend's birthday that happened to be going to the beach for the weekend. I remembered seeing a nice Lacoste beach towel the last time I came, but they didn't have it so I had to get the next best thing. Gosh, I love a good sale, even when it's not for me. So satisfying.

Lots of good brands at cheaper ish prices than the Alpharetta location. I've definitely left this place with a few good items tucked under my arms. lol. Like the other location, this Nordstrom Rack is located in a shopping strip with other stores when and if you tire of this place. :) Service is decent. The place is well organized and clean. This location is a tad dimmer since the other location has more window space for sun light to stream through. I don't know... The look/feel/vibe of a store is important to me as well. Well, unless there's just a ridiculous steal to be discovered. I think this place can get overcrowded fairly quickly as it is near the Mall of Georgia... It just seems like everyone frequents the Buford area way too much.

As a UGA student, the Mall of Georgia is the closest non-trashy mall (never, ever, ever, ever expect to find something decent at the Georgia Square poor-excuse-for-a-mall "Mall" in Athens), so I often find myself making the 45 minute trek out to Buford when I need to do some serious shopping. However, I soon learned that my time was better spent just driving straight to Nordstrom Rack and ignoring the crowded, sprawling Mall itself. While I think the other reviewers have done a good job covering the awesome deals on name brand products, no one has mentioned the special shoe deals that Nordstrom Rack has about twice a year. Do you have a wide/narrow/large/small foot? Nordstrom Rack probably has shoes to fit you, and twice a year they fill their entire shoe section with these specialty sizes. As a 12, I love this aspect of the store! I've found clothes to be hit or miss (just like at a TJ Maxx or Marshalls), but for both men and women (and especially those with difficult to find sizes), the shoe selection is large, varied, and of impeccable quality.

I was expecting a lot more out of this place, but quite frankly TJ Maxx is better! Being the professional shopper I am, if I cannot find ONE thing I want to buy, then the place must suck. I wouldn't go back, I'll just stick to the regular Nordstrom, which I love....

This is a Nordstrom Rack near my boyfriend's place out in Suwanee and since he recently changed jobs and is in need of more suits and dress shirts (plus, he just wanted more), he hit up Nordstrom and then Nordstrom Rack for some new duds. It happened because some shirts he bought at Nordstrom had sleeves that were a touch too short, but when we went back to exchange them it turned out they'd migrated out of Nordstrom and over to the Rack store, just a hop, skip and jump from Mall of Georgia. So we ended up finding the shirts he was looking for, and we've been back a couple of times since for various other odds and ends. He is a new convert to the Rack, but he has also experienced the disappointment when it is absolutely barren of anything interesting. Nordstrom Racks are notorious for being hit or miss about having good merchandise and this one is no exception. We struck gold with the shirts, but struck out last weekend looking for suits - the pickings were slim. That being said, Nordstrom Rack provides some pretty sweet deals if you can find the right merchandise. That's a big if though. So, like other Rack's this one's A-ok, but don't expect to hit a home run every time. Just keep checking back every once in a while to see what's new though as merchandise rotates through pretty frequently.

Confession: I'm a fan of the Rack. That said I don't purchase something or find a hidden gem each visit BUT that is part of the allure. It's a hunt. They carry a combination of items that don't sell in the Nordstrom stores (you can shop here by rounders from your favorite departments) and merchandise that is purchased for the Racks. You'll find great gift items in the home goods section, baby items and of course -- fabulous finds for yourself. Give yourself at least 30 - 45 minutes to do a thorough search. You'll find yourself rewarded (periodically)!

This was a fun rack... far out from the city but good selection and $25 CK jeans! Scored some cute cotton work jackets too, Yay! Oh yeah, not very crowded, and friendly fitting room attendants who let me try something on 5 minutes before closing!

High end brands available at 1/2-2/3 off or more, including quality men's blazers, if you can find your size. It took us about a year of looking for one to pop up in an odd size, but it was worth the wait! I am giving this store an extra star for having a great in-house tailor; we have had REALLY good luck working with Elena Mocan. Elena is fun to work with and did an excellent job on 2 different items. If you need tailoring, I highly recommend you visit Elena at Nordstrom Rack (she's in the back in the fitting area)!!

It's worth the trip out here! prices are great.. just come prepared to look through tons of racks of clothing!! Last time I shopped I got 2 pairs of coach sunglasses for under a $100.. usually I head straight for the purses and shoes.. you cant really beat the prices

This place has gone downhill a bit. I found the store to be more disorganized and the prices to be a bit too high.The staff was not that helpful and I could not find a deal or anything decent. There were workout clothes in the men's collared shirts rack, there were size 8 shoes in the size 11 isle, and there were other misc wrong placements. This place used to be a bit more classy a few years back. However, I found it to be rather messy this time around.

Awesome!!!! I always find "great" shoes for usually more than 50% off Nordstrom's own prices. The best deals are on the "used and refurbished" stuff. I bought a pair of Cole Hahn shoes that were selling at Nordstrom for $165 for $59.99! Buford has the only "Rack" in Georgia. You do the math :-) But shhhhh don't tell anyone.

Love this place ! great designer name brands at competitive prices. You can even shop online at Norstrom rack or hautelook and return directly in the store.

Great deals, good location, plenty of merchandise... but I don't know if it was just the particular day I went, but I had THE hardest time finding clothes in my size. I am a petite girl, so size 0 is what I'm after (don't hate me!). There was a VERY small selection of sizes for me, which I wasn't too happy about. Therefore, I walked out empty-handed. Also, as I was shopping around, I remembered how I don't like sifting through racks and racks of clothes arranged in not the neatest fashion. Oh well. If you're one to love great deals on designer name clothing, and aren't looking for "obscure" sizes, then this place is like heaven to you.

I was pleasantly surprised when they had a pretty decent plus size department. The store is pretty clean and organized. And I found some good deals. I will definitely be back if I ever have some money to spend!

My first time experiencing a "Nordstrom Rack" was about a month ago now, I absolutely loved my experience at this location! Everyone was warm and friendly, greeted me and checked me out quickly. Defiantly visiting again!

Like all Nordstrom Racks I've been to, this one requires sifting through the dregs to find the gems, but gems there are! I had the best luck with ties (a few good ones by Robert Talbot were down to around $30) and shoes (lots of nice 50+% off items). I saw lots of nice pants, but wasn't really focused on that on this trip; with that proviso, I thought the pants selection was generally priced too high. The one bummer is the shirt and blazer selections were pretty dismal.

Male Perspective Review: the selection of clothing varies quite a bit depending on when you visit. My usual goal is to find branded items that Nordstrom carries at a discount. This can turn into a bit of a treasure hunt. There is no consistency in the availability of premium brand names. Most of what is available in abundance and all size ranges are Nordstrom house brands or private clothes made specifically for distribution at the "Rack". This includes a reduced price likely from the MSRP on a new tag. The shoe selection is always very good, though the fetch the matching shoe from the "shoe hostage" area triggers my Stockholm syndrome. All those lonely shoes in the lockup makes me sad.

This store is a little hidden gem for frequent shoppers. They have nice brand name items for much cheaper than the department's price. I always go straight to the shoes section and leave with one or two pair. I highly recommend this store.

I have only been here one or two times but they have some good deals! Some of the things I picked out were quite pricy, but they were really worth it. I liked their extensive shoe selection and even their lingerie/underwear section was larger than I thought it would be. I will be going back and hopefully I find more good deals!

I had a great experience here. I was able to find 3 pairs of shoes. Brands Stuart Weizmann, Seychelles, and Joan& David, all for under 100.00 bucks. It must be that I wear a size 6 shoes, because my friends were not able to find much. That weekend when we went, they had an additional 35-50% on marked items. The shoes I found were a whopping 75% additional off from marked price. The clothes are pretty nice as well, if you are looking for a cocktail dress or a special events dress this is the place to go. I was able to buy a shrug which was org. marked 69.99 for 12.00, now if that is not a steal I don't know what is. Overall, if you like to shop and appreciate great bargains, come here with an open mind, and be ready to shop through the massive racks. They have brands ranging from BCBG, Calvin Klein, jeans ranging from Seven jeans to citizens of humanity. If you are a fashion junky, this will definitely be the place to get a high. Great hand bangs from Cole Haans to cute L.A.M.B. bags. They also carry great jewelery as well as hair products like Biolage and Biosilk. You will leave this place fully stocked on what you want, but not necessary need.

What happen to this place? It used to be such a nice and organized store, with employees that looked like they liked to be there. Not anymore. I went there the other day and was shocked at how disorganized the store looked and how depressed the employees looked. The shoes were a HOT MESS, full of shoes on aisles on the floor, I went to my size, size 9 and most of the shoes where other sizes. Women's clothing were kind of sized but confusing, they have the same style of a particular brand all over the place. If you want a particular color, well good luck finding it. They have it but its not together with the other colors.It's crazy, all styles are all over the place instead all in shops like it used to be. It used to be so easy to shop there. And the employees are of no help either. I have been shopping at the Rack for a long time but I was shocked at the state of this particular store. I will go to the Buckhead Station from now on even though its out of my way. I used to know all the employees, now there are new ones and not happy to be there. Very disappointed.

Once you walk in you are promptly greeted, the prices and quality are fantastic.. I've been here a few times and have had decent service each time. today, the customer service was exceptional. I was a little thrown off with the checkout line partly due to the fact that women were still shopping purses and called themselves in line, it was a tad bit confusing but...anyway, I'm next and the cashier (Marilyn) waited on us, she was very courteous and patient. She offered me the opportunity to have a Nordstrom card as they do every time but today i took her up on the offer, the poor lady's computer kept failing her and she remained calm and positive , she asked for help a few times, but she just kind of rolled with the flow..she even made conversation with each of my children, she was overall just a pleasant person, she apologized for the wait and I felt bad as my 3 year old complained about everything because she wasn't being very patient, but Marilyns personality is what made it worth it. After she got us checked out, she had to search for a case for the sunglasses i just purchased, and bless her heart she couldn't find the one to match but she kept checking..again, very patient not acting like it was a pain, a bother, etc even as the line forming was growing..they have a great employee in her and my family will be back-I personally appreciate good customer service and they have it!
