Incredible Service from Cathleen – A True Gem at Nordstrom! I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Cathleen during a recent visit (Thursday, 05/22) to Nordstrom, and I can confidently say she went above and beyond in every way imaginable. From the moment I walked in, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure I had the best experience possible. Cathleen didn’t just assist me — she elevated the entire shopping experience. She listened carefully to what I needed, offered thoughtful suggestions, and was patient and kind throughout the entire process. Her professionalism was matched only by her empathy and genuine passion for helping customers. I left the store not only with exactly what I needed, but also feeling truly valued as a customer. Because of Cathleen’s outstanding service, I will absolutely remain a loyal Nordstrom customer. It’s rare to find someone who cares this much and who represents the Nordstrom name with such excellence and grace. To Nordstrom management: Please recognize and reward Cathleen for the incredible asset she is to your team. Employees like her don’t just make sales — they create long-term customers and elevate your brand. I sincerely hope she is acknowledged and considered for a raise or promotion — she more than deserves it. Thank you, Cathleen, for making my day and reminding me why I love shopping at Nordstrom!

Did seasonal work here. Friendly staff. A very professional experience with experts in men and women clothing--from lower cost to high end prods. Tailors/seamstresses in-house. I had fun there. It was a good experience.

My sales rep, Chance, is amazing! He went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. I came in with stitching coming off my leather shoes, and he not only offered me a replacement but also applied conditioning to my new pair. He gave me great suggestions on how to care for my designer shoes, and I truly appreciate his professionalism and attentiveness. Chance is definitely outstanding!

All 5 stars for Patrick! My mom & I came in to buy shoes for my upcoming wedding. Patrick was super helpful & knowledgable. We were also impressed that he spoke fluent Mandarin. Ended up buying 3 pairs of heels & I can’t wait to come back! Thanks Patrick!!

Maria Veronica on the Dior beauty counter used a reallyyyyyy dirty and used makeup brush on my face. After I walked out of the counter I immediately got a rash on my face. Now I have this red bump that doesn’t fade. It’s super frustrating because I expect higher level of professionalism at Nordstrom.

Terrible customer service at the fragrance department men and women department . I needed 2 perfume samples from the women dept and she said i don’t have it while she had it.went to another employee, and told her what happened, she said that’s strange and took me to another employee so when the first one saw me asking the second one, she told her something then they refused to give me the sample, they were just looking to sell not to provide a good customer service. Horrible attitude that i have never experienced and or expected from Nordstrom before . On the other side, The manager who was in charge for the men department was horrible as well , she pretended that she can’t give any sample unless the bottle is half full, when we asked her to give us a sample from one of the perfumes, she literally put two pumps in the vial. Like if you don’t want to give samples as part of your service to test it few times then buy from you afterwards, don’t offer it , we are not begging you to give it to us . We didn’t expect this to happen from a manager who knows how to deal with customers, Incredibly bad. I am a regular Nordstrom customer but this particular store is just a shame.

Google
The customer service at UTC is horrific! My family and I visited the men’s department, children’s, women’s, and shoes, and not a single individual made eye contact. The only person who had any customer service skills was in fine jewelery so he gets an A+. The people in the men’s department, you go stand and the register and there is an individual standing literally behind the register, gives you side eye and goes about doing whatever it is they were doing without even so much as saying hello or have you been helped?! There were 2 men and one woman working that area and all three absolutely ridiculous! Fashion Valley is where the customer service is actually taken seriously! You would think shopping in La Jolla the customer service would be up to par with that area, but no, it’s horrible customer service pretty much all the way around. DO BETTER NORDSTROM UTC!

Google
Terrible customer service at the fragrance department. I needed 4 perfume samples. I was told I can get only 3. Then one of the testers had a broken top and another one was empty. The sales man did not care. He just told me “feel free to walk around”. The only vial I could get was filled only 30 percent. Incredibly bad. I am a regular Nordstrom customer but this particular store is just a shame.

Yelp
Extremely helpful staff at location. Store is always clean and well stocked. The E cafe is also great. The young staff make a great Matcha latte.

Yelp
Sophia was a great help today, and I found some really nice stuff (including some on sale). 4 stars instead of 5 just because the bathing suit selection was really bad in store (I came in to buy one but looked at other things instead). But other than that it was a great visit to the POV section thanks to the great selection right now in the anniversary sale, and Sophia's help! POV has some really great values compared to other parts of the store.

Yelp
There was a black woman who worked there that was obviously following me around throughout my entire shopping experience, and was giving me crazy looks. She also stood by the exit and was staring me down when I went up to pay. Extremely rude and they definitely profile people. Do better.

Yelp
I remember the time when Nordstrom was different because of the customer service they provided. That customer service is thing of the past. The last 2 or 3 times have gone into the UTC location, I was absolutely blown away how poor the customer service was. In each of the cases, I walked into the department intent on buying something, only to see every sales associate either on their phone or engaged in conversations with other associates, and NEVER once was I greeted, or asked if they could help me find something. After a few minutes, I decided on each of the trips to turn around and leave. It's sad to see when an organization just stops caring.

Yelp
Wonderful return policy! They accepted a "non-returnable dress" that I never got to wear! Still had tags on it, it was in immaculate condition. I never expected the return process to be so easy. Love it!

Yelp
If you are looking for perfume for yourself or significant other go see Zinah at the le labo counter. She is the best!

Yelp
If you are of color please don't shop the handbag section on this location, they have a sales associate by the name Pamela older white lady with big puffy hair, she likes to racially profile you and fallow you around the area assuming you're going to shoplift. She made my family and I very uncomfortable fallowing us around she even talk to our children when my wife and I were deciding what to get as a gift . My daughter told us that the lady tap her shoulder and told her " Can you please let your mom know I can hold her item in the register" seriously who does this? And on finishing our transaction with her we asked for a bag and she replied very snarky " We don't have boxes since December, " it's now August when does Nordstrom run out of boxes?? Very rude very racist of her to be working with a variety of customers!!

Yelp
I really despise shopping . Especially there. Once again I wandered around with money to spend ( this time on face products and perfume) being entirely ignored by whoever worked there . I was about the leave in frustration sans any products when I was approached by the awesome and wonderful Jake. He totally helped me, he's great 5 stars for Jake - NS should give Jake a promotion! While you're at it NS powers that be - maybe rethink your current staff situation... Yikes.

Yelp
Elderly sales associate told me I cannot make returns at her register since they no longer have customer service station there, "especially men's clothing." When I inquire further about where to pick up online orders and what if I'm returning both men's and women's apparel, she was evasive then changed her story to "usually can't." The entire time whispering. I question whether this is Nordstrom corporate policy or one unique to this particular worker.

Mary Katie T.

Yelp
I went in to return some items. I normally never leave reviews but I just felt like I had to. Catherine H. Was so welcoming and wonderful and I felt like I had reconnected with a long distance friend. She made my return experience so great. Nordstrom has always been known for their excellence in regard to customer service, I myself worked for nordstrom for years, and Catherine H. Truly showed the Nordstroms way today.

Yelp
Gabriela is gorgeous! I will come back again to see her friendly smile. Amazing guest service skills!

Yelp
I normally don't have any expectations at this Nordstrom due to them carrying a smaller selection at the location, but the way the sales associates treated me was appalling. I came in on my break from work to find a last minute dress for a friend's styled photoshoot and didn't want to splurge on something I would only wear once or twice. I'm not sure if I was profiled or if everyone else chose to be snide, but the shortness and pompousness from both sales associates took me by surprise. Attitude of not wanting to check availability for a sales dress and giving lip over the transaction was mean/confusing. I tried to be polite and not make a fuss, but it was clear how flippant the associate helping me was. Excuse me, but who are you to be treating anyone like that, customer or not. I will not be naming a specific associate as I don't have the heart to out them even when she was being rude to me, but shame on you and Nordstrom for the culture and they have created here.

Yelp
Patrick in the shoes department approached me as soon as he saw me, he asked if I needed help. I let him know I need help with finding the best shoes for everyday casual wear out around town. I usually wear sandals and needed some sneakers. So he asked me what kid of shoes I would typically go for. I mentioned Nike Legacy's, Low top Converse or Adidas. He said they were all good choices as he showed me the new adidas sambas first. He advise me that the top tongue part was a bit more awkward than the regular adidas. He also brought a couple different boxes out, including converse. I tried on the converse leather shoes, they were very cute but made my feet look wider than normal. So I asked him for the clam shell old school adidas superstar shoes. He went to the back, brought out a pair of white & black clamshell superstar adidas but he only had size 9.5. They looked great but fit a little big. So Patrick mentioned could order them and ship them to my house for free. Of course I said yes and pulled out my debit card to pay. He confirmed my address and sealed the sale. I would be back to him for help anytime I need shoes. He's a great honest sales partner for the company. Thanks!

Yelp
I love Nordstrom but Margot in the fine jewelry department is terrible to work with. She is rude and just is not cut out for customer service, even if you just simply want to pay for something, it's never a positive experience.

Yelp
Came in to play with makeup and try some new items. After looking around, I saw a brand I wasn't familiar. Clé de Peau Beauté was the brand and after trying on the samples on the floor, it worked on my skin texture and I found the perfect color match for me. I decided to buy it. Pamela M. was wonderful! She was very pleasant, informative and helpful. Although they were out of stock in my color, she placed the order to have it delivered to my home. I was shopping with my friend/neighbor and Pamela was kind enough to give her samples. I have been to this store twice now and love it. It's in a very nice mall with other great stores and restaurants. I love that they're also dog friendly as we do like taking our pup out with us.

Yelp
If I could give less than one star I would, as they say. I brought my aunt into the store yesterday as she is terminally ill with cancer and wanted to pick out a necklace to wear for her final viewing. This was a very difficult day for us, to say the least. It was filled with a lot of bitter sweet moments and fond memories we shared during lunch. We entered the store by the makeup and walked towards the jewelry section. There were several woman standing around who worked there, but not one asked us if we needed any help or approached us. Several times we had to ask someone if they worked there and when they said yes, they seemed anything but willing to help us. My aunt had several questions about different pieces and when she asked one women to open up a glass container containing a necklace she was interested in purchasing, the woman said she didn't know where the key was. At one point I saw my aunt's eyes start to water as I knew she had hoped this would be a meaningful experience, but instead felt the extreme disrespect and lack of care or interest by every single woman there working. All they were doing was talking to one another and starring at us, a few times whispering and looking our way, perhaps of my aunts appearance who is very obviously battling a life threatening illness. I picked up a pair of earrings and was looking at them and asked someone named Margo if the earrings also came in silver to which she replied. "I don't know, but no one wants those so I'm getting ready to send them down to Nordstrom Rack if you want to save me the time." Oddly this made me not want them either, thinking perhaps their was a default with them and being unsure what she meant by this. At the end of our time there (about 30 minutes total), we left without purchasing anything. My aunt had set aside a few thousand dollars for this shopping trip and had hoped to also find some matching earrings and an outfit to be buried in. Our trip to Nordstrom that afternoon could have been something I remembered for the rest of my life with fondness, but instead due solely to the judgmental, snobbish attitudes of all the women who worked there, it was a memory I would like to soon forget. I will never, ever step foot back in this store again or any Nordstrom for that matter, or purchase online. If this is how this franchise wants to be known, it's not somewhere I want to support. To every woman who worked in that department yesterday, you should be ashamed of yourself. You know who you are and you know how you treated us, and I wouldn't wish such poor, disrespected, rude behavior to anyone in your own families, especially someone with just weeks left to live. You could have made in positive difference in someone's lives, but instead you choose to act as though you couldn't be bothered and you were better than. You're not, and at the end of the day we are mostly the sum of how you make others feel.

Yelp
my review of Nordstrom in general is 5/5, but this location is not. which is unfortunate bc it's the closest to me. they no longer have a dedicated customer service desk and it is so frustrating. if you have a return, only way to get decent service is to buy something new and beg for them to return your item too. my most recent experience at this location was about a month ago (9/11/24) and i'm still disappointed in how it played out. I ordered online a big order of men's clothes. the box arrived shipped directly from vendor (Brixton) and was missing a t shirt. the overall order was huge. this piece was two t shirts and two hats shipped directly, but even though the packing slip showed two of each, only one t shirt was shipped...$28. I wanted them either to replace the shirt or give me $28. could not get anyone to help. they just kept telling me to call the 1-800 number from the website. finally someone in the men's clothing department told me to try the store pickup desk on the top floor as that's supposed to be the new customer service. I did and my experience only got worse. The woman "helping" indicated I was trying to get an extra t shirt and told me she couldn't help other than to dial the 1-800 number for me. It was beyond embarrassing. another employee was looking on. i finally gave up and have not been back nor do I ever plan to. This lady was awful. As I headed out the way I came in, the same employees that shooed me up there stopped me and asked if I got the help I needed and finally and only then decided to process my $28 return only after calling out their manager to ask me to tell on who up in the store pickup was not helpful. It was the cherry on top of a bad experience. It was obvious they could've helped me the first time thru but chose not to. I ended up grabbing the card of the guy who finally helped me (Luis) and sent him a text thanking him later that day (9/11/24) and heard nothing back...perfect end to a horrible experience. ended up saving me a ton of money though because not shopping there and having to drive to fashion valley makes me rethink my purchases! Haha.

Yelp
This 5 star review is for the nice young woman Adia that helped me out. I'll preface this review by saying that I rarely shop at malls, however, I needed something that I can where tomorrow for a job interview. Adia greeted me relatively quickly and kindly took everything I was holding to a dressing room. She checked on me while in the dressing room, showing she had not forgotten about me. After, I had spent what felt like forever trying on pants, she asked me if I had found anything I liked. I told her that I had and continued to look to see if I could find anything else for the occasion. After a few minutes of wandering around, she asked if I needed any more assistance and provided helpful suggestions for further pants buying. I could tell this young woman genuinely wanted to help and felt comfortable in her element. Even though, I probably won't be back any time soon because I shop online, Adia left a wonderful taste in my mouth for in person shopping.

Yelp
I used to love this store before all the changes, now it seems cold and unfriendly and no one is there to offer assistance. I had ordered my Chanel eyeshadow on the website for pick up at this store since I was going to be in the area. After waiting for 15 minutes at the Chanel counter, I walked around looking for someone to help me. 2 people told me that they couldn't help, and they weren't sure where the person who worked Chanel was. This was really frustrating. I left and got some coffee. Came back, still no one. I canceled my order by phone and went to Macy's.

Yelp
04/21/2024 around 5pm me and my partner went in mainly for formal slacks & to browse. once we got to the formal men's section, immediately we were being stared at by the 3 women employees. as we're now browsing with 2 items in my partners arm, an older woman approached us who was wearing a pink shirt & tan hat, instead of asking if we needed help with anything but to HOLD our items in the dressing room???? and then to top it all off she stares & waits for us by the cash register to check us out. NEVER expected to be racially profiled in a Nordstrom IN A WELL DIVERSE AREA as well as being in 2024. Name on my receipt: Raffaella M.

Yelp
Extremely terrible experience & even worse customer service. I purchased a pair of dress pants, Brown-Santorelli, & my original goal from the very start was to tailor these pants to a slim fit loafer style. I made that very clear to the sales rep. & tailor representative who were assisting me; I even brought in a pair of pants I already had (from suit supply) as a "mock" to copy. When I got the new pants back they were extremely tight, to the point where I felt if I sat down I would rip them. This was more of a very skinny fit not a slim fit. From October 2022 till February 2023 I had spent my time & gas going to UTC numerous times in hopes of getting these pants to be the perfect fit & to be honest every time I got the pants back to try on it felt as if nothing had changed; the pants were still in the same original skinny fit condition as I got them the first time. I was working with a tailor at the store, shorter-Latino decent-bald headed man, & his attitude was disgusting. Every time I kindly asked for an adjustment he had a face of disgust, voice of frustration, & ugly attitude. He wouldn't even pin up the adjustments that were needed he would just tell me "I will let it all out." I eventually asked to be switched to a different tailor. The new tailor was the manager of the tailor department & he was a very kind, patient, educated gentleman. He shared with me that & I quote "Whoever provided me these pants messed up" & that I should've never received these pants in the first place because this specific designer/style was not made to be tailored into a slim fit loafer style. He recommended I speak with the sales department & receive a refund. I went to the sales department & when explaining my long winded scenario was met with rude laughs, wandering eyes, & rude whispers/gossips/under the breath comments from the front desk; but most specifically a man of Japanese/Chinese/Korean decent who wears tight fitting suits & has a bald hair style. At one point while he was walking away to ask for help he stated & I quote "my head is going to explode" & laughed at me & my problem with the other young girls working that department. I was eventually put in contact with a manager named "Mario." Once again, after explaining the whole scenario Mario stated that he could not help me because the pants are showing in the data base as already returned. How could this be possible if I have the pants right in front of everyone with my receipt & I have been getting them tailored for the past 4 months? My options at this point were to: A.) Take an in-store credit B.) & I quote "get the original form of payment & receive a refund in the form of cash/card" I thanked Mario for his help & apologized for any frustration or inconvenience this may have caused because I get it; big issue, ton of confusion, it can be tiring... But I was happy I was given a solution & ready to put these "pants from hell" to rest. I selected option B & returned a week later. Once again, the whole department greeted me with whispers to one another, wandering eyes, no hello or welcomes, & left me at the front desk for a couple minutes with no contact until a new employee came to help me. I had to give him the run down, he had to verify everything with Mario & I was surprised with the response of: we can only give you in-store credit. I asked to have Mario present & for him to bring a higher up with him because at this point this is just getting silly. As I tried to explain to the higher up the scenario & what options Mario gave me, Mario continuously interrupted me, raised his voice over mine, & proceeded to state "I know what I said" as if I was lying? I told the higher up, at this point I am sick of this process, I am sick of playing games of he said she said just give me the in-store credit & I am done. The higher up was kind & apologetic, I got the in-store credit & that is the end of a nightmare. Me my family will no longer shop at this Nordstrom location (La Jolla UTC) & honestly I may never shop at Nordstrom in general again. There is a way to treat human beings especially your customers. As a Vice President of a successful Financial Services firm located in San Diego I understand that kindness, courtesy, & doing your best to help people will get you far = customer service & treat every client as if they are your only client! Put yourself in other peoples shoes & do your best to help in a courteous manner. Treat people as if they were a family member. This location failed to do so & am shocked that people with poor attitudes & horrendous customer service were hired. I am appalled at the experience.

Yelp
Dan at the shoe section downstairs helped me and he was just absolutely lovely. fantastic service thank you Dan.

Yelp
The older blonde lady in the luggage department was so engrossed in her phone that she couldn't assist me when I asked for help. Her behavior was both rude and unprofessional.

Yelp
Men's suits you have to ask for dimitri he's the best he will not let you make a mistake when it comes to clothing. Whatever you do, do not use ferdi. Everyone knows Nordstrom is great. I've been shopping there since 1985 and dimitri is the best I've ever worked with. He walks his talk, he's impeccably dressed and gives great advice.

Yelp
I came in today with my daughter to purchase some cosmetics. Julio at the La Mer counter offered the best customer service I have ever experienced in any business. He's very warm and friendly and very knowledgeable about fashion, history and cosmetics. He made it worth my while to come into Nordstrom's today. He's an amazing asset to this company. I left feeling like we were part of his family.

Yelp
We've been going to this location and the customer service never fails. The only thing that made me left a review because of the lady at Jo Malone her name is Pamela went above and beyond in serving us!! Even how fast paced the store was that day because of the 15% sale going on with Jo Malone she made sure we're leaving the store very satisfied, she made our Birthday gift to my mom in law real special by putting it in a nice gift box, she even gave us perfume samples, gave my Kids stickers! Thank you Pamela! You're the best! Will be coming back for sure.

Yelp
This review is for the gentlemen with blonde hair in the sunglasses department. I was heading out after making some purchases in the shoe department, when I wanted to see a pair of Celine glasses and get some feedback from my cousin. He went above and beyond to find a new pair for me. Pulled out a lot of back stock. They didn't have a pair but I asked if he could order it and he did. He was professional and I'm super excited about my purchase. In the past customer service here hasn't been that great but overall my recent visit was met with great service both in the sunglasses and shoe department.

Yelp
Been shopping here since the opening in early 1980's. Standards have dropped very low when it comes to the staff . The men look awful and the girls look like they have been shot out of a cannon !!! Very sloppy and unkempt . Awful
google avatar

Bridget M.

Yelp
Very nice in the jewelry department, not very high end, limited selection. Main issue in the perfume- I walked to the Tom Ford in the middle, asked us they have samples, they said no, turned around to chat around the corner with another employee. Rude. They clearly thought I didn't have money, or was a big makeup person. Their makeup was trashy and they looked down on me. I will stick to Bloomingdales- way better service. And Nordy in Fashion Valley. UTC is getting worse by the minute.

Yelp
I live in La Jolla This is clise to me I stop by when I have to I never get help on the second floor When I look And each department for an employee I don't find one They never ask if I need assistance They have terrible buyers Their inventory is low Never find my size If I see something I would like Unfriendly girls at the register but they do ask if any helped me in order to claim the Commissioner. Mr Nordstrom if you don't get the act together you will be closing stores including this flagship store !

Yelp
With my busy work/life balance, I like the convenience of ordering online and picking up curbside. The downsides: Shoes and clothing not instock, changing 1 pick up into 3. 2 of my purchases have 2 different pick-up days. Also, I advise checking your purchases if you're ordering curbside. Both UGG boots are perfect, brand new condition. But, the Dr. Martens was either a display or a return. It's no way a $200 leather boot should be creased from wear. Other than that, half my order was ready in less than 24 hours. Not all bad. Directions for curbside: Turn right after getting a parking ticket. Drive into the garage. Follow Nordstrom signs. Proceed up the ramp. Keep driving around until you see Curbside pick up signs on the left. Parking for mall: 1st 15mins - free $2.00 hour after.

Yelp
This review is specifically for the women's lingerie department. I stopped by on a whim and decided to try to find a few items that have been on my wish list. I can't remember her name but she was so so friendly and more than willing to help me. If I remember her name, I'll edit this review with it. She wasn't overly pushy about buying anything else or getting their credit card. I will absolutely be coming back to this specific Nordstrom if I have any other needs. Also want to add that I've never once had an issue with returns at this location.

Yelp
Linda in the men's department was extremely helpful. Understood the style my husband wanted and brought the perfect options.

Yelp
Nordstrom is always busy and shopping is very easy to do here unless you are hyper picky like me. I was looking for a reasonably priced backpack but couldn't find one that I like as much as the one I've been using since I arrived in La Jolla 3 months ago.

Yelp
Last minute find! The cutest sandals for Christmas found at Nordstrom. At checkout found out they on sale for less than half the sticker price! Quick check out by lovely sales woman. Great experience in spite a very busy store on Christmas Eve.

Yelp
Nordstrom La Jolla at UTC is my preference when choosing to shop at Nordstrom. I prefer this Nordy's over any other in the San Diego area for many reasons, as I will explain later. But first ... This Westfield shopping center Mecca has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few years. A huge makeover was done and the La Jolla Nordstrom trumps Fashion Valley's by a huge margin (sorry Fashion Valley). The biggest change is you now have to pay to park. All over the mall, not just at Nordy's. It's easiest to enter the parking garage off Genesee Avenue by Great Maple Restaurant. Nordstrom is closest if you can find parking there. Or, if you are coming off La Jolla Village Drive, you can enter the parking garage there. The parking garage's convenient markers lets you know a section is full by a big red "X" over the stall numbers. Now that we got where to park out of the way, just know ... The parking system works rather nicely. Your first 2 hours are FREE, then you pay if you go over that allotted time. That works out fine for me, as ...so far, I haven't gone over my 2 hours, so the gates open for me as I approach them. Not sure how 'it' knows, as I haven't had to insert the ticket into the exit slot that I pulled when I came in. There are about 6 lanes both to enter and to exit, so it usually goes by quickly. Nordstrom has a huge inventory in every department. Their shoe section is the biggest, which makes sense, since Nordstrom originally began by selling shoes. If you can't find the right shoe for you here, you're not looking hard enough. There are prices that will match just about anybody's budget. Ask ...because I've had the best luck showing a salesperson 'a' shoe, and they will cater to my desires, bringing out at least a half-dozen similar shoes for me to try. And if I don't like them, since they are on the highest commission of any department in the store, they will keep trying until you find the right fit. ;;) Nordstrom has a full service 'Bazille Restaurant' upstairs, with additional outdoor seating overlooking the mall. I find the restaurant to be hit or miss. The current manager needs to work a little harder. We've had a couple sloppy mishaps. It is what it is. Other departments include high-end sections exclusive for: * Dolce & Gabbana * Valentino * Prada * Gucci * Saint Laurent As with all Nordstrom's, you may ask for a Personal Stylist to help you shop for a special occasion or sometimes get Free Alterations. This Nordstrom has beautiful sections for women, men and children to shop, addressing all their needs. For women, there are Special Occasion Dresses, Office Attire, Casual Wear, Lingerie, Coats, Hats, Scarves, Handbags, Jewelry, Eyewear, Perfume, Designer Candles, Accessories, Cosmetics, where you can have your make-up applied for you (also for special occasions, photo shoots, etc.). In addition, this particular Nordstrom has The Organic Pharmacy. There are two facial rooms, where you can get a Free facial before deciding to buy the quality products carried by this brand. Yes, Nordstrom has it all, and I am a Fan Girl ;;)

Yelp
I came in a few weeks ago and worked with Chance, he is bar none, the best associate in the retail industry. He goes above and beyond to make sure that you go home with a perfect fit in the exact shoes that you are looking for. If those shoes aren't instock, no worries, Chance has your back! He will make sure to find them at another store and get them to you as soon as possible! Whenever you are at this Nordstrom, ask for Chance, he's amazing!

Yelp
Covid review #86 About a week ago I was here and visited the beauty supply area. The ladies were all very nice to me. You'd never think that you could go to Nordstrom's just days before Christmas and have like the whole store to yourself... What brought me in was the growing amount of beauty empties that needed recycling from my home. What kept me there were the beautiful products. There are so many things I didn't know about that are out. I wish they were more festive as in previous years, but they did ok in spite of the lockdown. I'll go back when I have more time to pick up a few gifts and when I have more empties to drop off. I really appreciate that and will probably choose Nordies before even Ulta or Sephora because of that. Now if only they'll sign points to the recycling...

Yelp
I ordered a swimsuit online for pickup. The hygiene strip was removed and looked used when I picked it up. I complained to the store manager,Michelle. She said they do not Mark down and agreed it is not up to their standards. She went beyond good customer service and had my suit overnighted to me for my weekend getaway. Thank you! I will highly recommend Nordstrom.

Yelp
Easy direct access to Nordstrom's from the new parking garage. I parked near the elevators and the elevators door take you right to the front of Nordstroms doors. I placed my order online Saturday night hoping for Sunday pick up. Never got the confirmation email that it was ready. Ended up having to go on my lunch break to get it today. Luckily the entrance I went into was right next to the online pick up location inside Nordstrom's. They verified my ID and I signed the receipt for my new watch. I took it over the to jewelry section because I wanted to test out different bracelets. They were nice enough to show me how to change the bracelets on my Michele watch. And I got to try on different band styles. They also adjusted the time and date for me. Only bad part was they didn't have a cleaning cloth to clean off the fingerprints from my watch. Overall I am very happy with my new watch it looks great and I can't wait to order a new bracelet chain for it.

Yelp
This past Saturday we were on the hunt for a pair of high-top black Converse shoes for my daughter in the women's shoe section. Although we did not find what we wanted, we got outstanding service from Phillip. He was enthusiastic and eager to please, highest praise for his above and beyond service.

Yelp
First off I'd love to give this place 5 stars but put a pin in that and well revisit in a moment. Nordstrom is high class, so naturally my expectations are high. But there's a fine line to walk. Sales people at nordstrom in general and this nordstrom in particular, like to qualify the people shopping in their section. If they feel you're a waste of time you'll be ignored. Using myself as an example, and my more than 20 years of experience shopping at Nordstrom ill say this. First I am covered in tattoos. Not my neck and head, but everything else, and when you have tattoos on your hands thats apparently a demerit in the eyes of the nordstrom sales person. Also, when I'm not trying to take money from someone I'm usually dressed in jeans and boots. But thats when I shop too. All I'm saying is, the biker with tattoos on his hands holding a Canali in one hand and a Ted Baker in the other should be treated equally. Besides my D&$% is huge so I'm going to need a good tailor and this is where we come to the missing star. I recently went on a buying spree at this Nordstrom and picked up 3 Ted Bakers because they fit me like they were made for me and they were on an awesome sale. Plus I got some shirts and a belt and the other random stuff humans wear. I only bring this up to say I've had to have multiple interactions with the tailor here in the men's suit department and let me tell you, one of these tailors is a piece of crap. No joke. Worthless lazy piece of crap is the best compliment I can muster when it comes to this guy. Now let me say, the tailor running the shop is absolutely awesome. Great guy. Super smart. Fast as hell, and really accurate. But the other guy shouldn't tailor anything ever again except maybe a bag he can crawl in so he can hibernate another 100 years. He didn't just tailor my jacket sleeves crooked, the pants weren't taken in at all and he put in ONE shoulder pad for absolutely no reason. I could have done a better job myself. Walmart has better tailors than that guy. Nordstrom would do better hiring homeless guys to tailor suits and paying them in chocolate and vodka. Anyway, the sales guy that I started going to is awesome. I mean awesome. Measured me accurately with his eyes. Has the best taste in colors and is very knowledgeable about the product. I should go find his name. Id tell Nordstrom to promote him but he treats me too good and I'd like him to stay right where he is. (Sorry for being selfish.) Past my personal interactions, this nordstrom is beautiful and while its not Fashion, its still first class. Definately will keep shopping here.

Yelp
This Nordstrom is SHAMAZING! WTF?! I did not expect that! I remember going to the old Nordstrom here at UTC when I was back in college and it was just your average department store. I went a couple of times to buy my makeup from the Chanel and MAC counters. I knew that this Nordstrom was remodeling but I didn't think it would be anything extraordinary. Even though I've visited UTC multiple times pretty much every week or two I've only been heading to Shake Shack and leaving. I didn't care about the other stores. I finally decided to pay the new Nordstrom a visit this past Sunday and my roomie and I were shocked! It's nice AF! I was just wearing casual clothes but I felt under-dressed times 10! OMG! Seriously though! This Nordstrom popped out of Beverly Hills or Bal Harbour in Miami! LOL Bring out your inner Stepford Wives outfit ha ha. Ladies, they carry Charlotte Tilbury here! I've never ever seen it sold anywhere in stores before! I died since I know Nicole Scherzinger aka Pussycat Doll wears that brand and I love her! ha ha. The sales ladies were nice too without being pushy about making a sale. They have an E-Bar cafe here which I'm a fan of in general and I also saw they have a sit-down restaurant upstairs! I'll have to check that out soon! Watch out Nordstrom! I'm about to become a REGULAR! LOL

Yelp
I was going to give this location one star but the last few experiences have changed that. There were some saving graces here at this new two story Nordstrom location. Let's start off with the bad: - the new parking structure is ridiculous. Good luck finding available parking IF you find the correct level/location/etc of this Nordstrom in the structure - 2nd floor : no sales associate ever helps. I've walked around many times, with and without clothes in hand to try on, and no one even looks my way to ask if I need a dressing room - the dressing room (by JCrew and Halogen section) are make-shift rooms with curtains in the middle of the store. Not very high class, private, or sophisticated looking - lingerie/PJ department dressing rooms are stuffy, hot and unbearable - the worst story: I was buying items in lingerie/PJ department and forgot a Nordstrom package (in box, with my info) there. I called customer service the very next day to ask them to look. One younger associate said 'sure sure, i'll look'. NEVER heard back. Called back two hours later (I mean, come on, at this point the item could have been taken) and another associate apologized and said yeah yeah she'll look. NEVER heard back. I finally called, in one last ditch effort, and spoke to Danielle, a manager. She was mortified about the situation and quickly went Sherlock Holmes for my lost item. And guess what. SHE FOUND IT. Someone had put my already paid item back on the rack but DANIELLE FOUND IT (and said another customer was looking at dress so she had to snag it from her - this associate is legit). PROS: - Danielle. Five stars. All. The. Way. She's the reason Nordstrom still has a stellar reputation. She could have lied to me about my lost item but she went out of her way to tell me the truth and didn't sugar coat anything. - girls in lingerie department are helpful and that's where I take my items to try on (even though their dressing rooms are terrible - at least there's service) - Ryan in women's shoes : so helpful and kind. I've purchased three Sam Edelman pumps from him at this location (don't forget they have complimentary shoe stretching to make the pumps more comfortable!) - Marsha in fragrance : THE BEST. I think she works for Jo Malone but she assisted me and friend to purchase Nest candles which were price matched that day. I would go back to Marsha for any of my fragrance or cosmetic needs if I was in area. So yeah. Overall, the pros really make this location bearable for me. But, the cons here make me head to Nordstrom.com and buy from there.

Yelp
I interview for a security job their in the summer. I am a retired law enforcement agent with 25 year of experience. I did not get selected and months later they had a group of criminals stormed and robbed the store in broad daylight. They got away with over 100k in high end merchandise. If I would gotten hire and worked on that infamous day, the outcome would have been different. Experience matters!

Yelp
This location has the worse customer service ever! I went into the store and was trying on sunglasses and there were 2 employees working at the sunglasses department an older lady and semi young gentle - well these 2 individuals deserve to get fired immediately on the spot they do NOT uphold Nordstrom standards regarding upscale customer service . These 2 individuals we're laughing at me awhile I was trying on sunglasses - the nerve of these people! This is how they are going to sell ??? Every individual that walks through those doors deserve respect ! This is not what I received today - I was being laughed at - for what reason exactly?!!! I'm appalled of this awful behavior!!!! I do expect management to have a serious discussion regarding this matter- is this a radical stereotyping issue ???!!! I will NEVER shop at Nordstrom again if they condone this horrific act!!! Oh and just to narrow it down to who these employees were - this happen just now 5/25/23 at 4:00pm give or take a couple minutes- they were working at the sunglasses department!!!

Yelp
Whatever you do, DO NOT sign up for their "Nordy Club" or credit card. I have tried to unsubscribe from their email advertisements, but they keep sending them. They will attempt to claim that the email they send is a "service email" that you cannot unsubscribe from, but it's filled with advertisements and offers. Furthermore, I never applied for credit and don't have any kind of credit card, only the "Nordy Club" membership. So the "loop hole" of the email being a service email is not totally legitimate. You'd think that after asking multiple times to removed that they'd simply honor that request. I mean someone is saying, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU and they just ignore that. What does that tell you about them? Unfortunately this seems to be my last resort- a 1-star review on Yelp to hopefully get my email removed from their systems. BEWARE- once they have your email, they'll NEVER STOP messaging you.
