The Santa Monica store is scheduled to close in 3 days And I decided to go do some shopping before they closed But I was surprised to see that the store was 90 percent empty already. What is the point of being open if you don't have anything to sell your customers. You should have just closed rather than making me spend a half an hour parking and walking. Poor management decision. You should have just closed sooner with full inventory and taking the extra time to move everything. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth for Nordstrom

I went to Nordstrom today shopping for a mascara and found a mascara that I wanted to try , the place was pretty empty and there were two employees speaking to a woman about personal things. I needed help but the two employees wouldn’t even make an eye contact with me so I approached the one who was listening and she responded very rudely that she was not available, she was not doing anything other than listening to a conversation which had nothing to do with cosmetics and the woman they were speaking to was not trying any cosmetic, wasn’t holding any cosmetic and certainly wasn’t buying any cosmetic. I started walking around to see if I can find some help when I was approached by this young lady named Madison B. She was super nice and very helpful with me deciding which mascara to purchase and she has a great personality and was personable. She helped me pick the right mascara for me and was very polite and professional so I made a purchase with her. She turned a bad experience in to a pleasant one and the other woman was still talking about personal things and I didn’t see her buy anything. Thank you Madison B. for your great customer service and helping me with my purchase.

Nordstrom is easily one of the best department stores in the area! Their trademark customer service and ambience is still unmatched. We came in for my husband to try on a Faherty Inlet Blazer and had a wonderful experience with William who was knowledgeable on style, fit and additional color options. Their onsite seamstress Joyce came to help within 5 minutes and also helped fit the jacket to perfection. Such an easy (and even FUN!) process. Pro Tips: - See if you can have your item tailored by Joyce! - If you’re a breastfeeding momma, they have awesome rest area for women

I had quite a humiliating experience yesterday in the menswear section. I think I was misidentified as a thief by a couple of members of staff, and was subsequently followed quite aggressively around the store by a middle-aged female in a suit (didn’t get her name unfortunately, but this was around 4pm if you would like to check CCTV). My partner overheard the two saying something along the lines of ‘that’s him’ - believe me, I wasn’t whoever ‘him’ is. I’m visiting from the UK and only discovered that your store existed about an hour before I went in. This has sadly left a sour note on what has been an otherwise great first trip to California. My advice is quite simple - if you are going to treat somebody as a thief, please make sure you have identified the person correctly before doing so. For anybody reading this, I would strongly advise not visiting this store.

Coming from Europe, I don't expect much from LA when it comes to the shopping experience however I still don't understand why this department store has such a small selection given all the space available inside. The shoes selection is ridiculously limited i.e. not enough brands and not enough items per brand. Also, sizes are always missing and not just during the sale period. Staff is nice but can be too persistent and will follow you around until you buy something. Nordstrom return policy is unbeatable and this department store is ideally located but the potential is not fully exploited. I want to love this store and come back but only if they expand the brands & items selection and make sure they focus on affordable brands.

Overall pretty good experience! Nothing overly to rave about, but overall good customer service and clean/organized Nordstrom location. There wasn't anyone maintaining the dressing room so I just let myself in, but it did see to be clean and organized. The lady who checked me out at the counter was friendly and helpful. I was a bit shocked the store was so dead on a Sunday which I honestly appreciated because I assumed it was going to be chaos. Parking anything in downtown SM can be a bit chaotic so I just recommend giving yourself extra time for parking if you're trying to stick to a schedule.

This is probably the worst Nordstrom I have ever been to in terms of customer service and management. It's absolutely no surprise they are shuttering this location in August. The "manager" David does not know their own policy in regards to price matching. He flat out refused to match the actual Faherty website price when the Nordstrom one was higher. They may need to do a better job training staff, as the Century city processed this price match no issue at all. Good luck David! Won't be seeing you again! :)

The people at the counter were really nice, I had some questions and felt they were answered. I was looking for something specific in cookware and they had what I wanted. My only problem with the store was that there was broken glass on the floor. I feel that could be a serious problem to potential customers when they come in you know? They should ahve employee's be more mindful of this type of stuff.

This is for the ladies at the Chanel counter, especially Cynthia, who helped me today. Thank you so much for your helpfulness and kindness. Your kind words absolutely made my day. I stopped by to find a matching shade of the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate foundation. Although she works for Chanel, Cynthia helped me find the perfect shade by trying it on my face at her makeup kiosk. She took her time with me, and tried a couple of shades to find just the right one. She gave me two samples of it for me to try at home in different lighting to be sure it's the right shade before purchasing it. Cynthia, who appears to be a makeup artist, with flawless makeup herself, asked if I was an artist and complemented my makeup and the application of my makeup, and she told me that I have good skin. I take good care of my skin, and I was very appreciative of her noticing that. She and the other lady at the counter also complimented my eyes, and I left feeling just so good and happy. I love Chanel nail polish, and I usually order it online, but I think I'll stop by the Chanel counter and purchase it at Nordstrom instead. Thanks so much for your kindness and professionalism. You made my day.

This review is for Sammy on the second floor. Before Sammy approached me to offer assistance I was ignored. He offered to assist me to put my items in the dressing room... and then the magic started! He was 1000 percent attentive to me ( while helping others which is a feat in itself ) & understood what I was looking for so quickly! I needed 2 sets of new Clothes for 2 business trips in which the weather COULD NOT be more opposite! Never been so excited & felt so confident in my purchases. He did not push and kept to my price range. Everything he picked was like AMAZING . He even walked me to my car ( of course I forgot where i parked !) I felt seen , heard and attended to . I came back for alterations & he made sure the team was ready for me as I had minutes to spare. What a guy ! He is the GOLD standard of customer service ( I should know, because I'm in retail !!)

I normally shop at Nordstrom Century City, but I had a horrible experience at this Nordstrom today. I was looking at a dress in the mirror, and a redhead sales associate asked if I wanted to try it on. I told her I didn't see my size. She proceeded to say, "what are you, a [size guess]?" Her guess was several sizes larger than I actually was. As someone who's both worked in retail and struggled with body issues, I was shocked and offended she would even try to guess my size instead of asking. I told her my actual size. She then said I should try on a size below her initial guess, so I did. It's clearly supposed to be a shift dress, but you can tell there's still too much fabric for me. She came back and I told her as much, but she made me spin around and then said, "mm... okay." I said it wasn't for me, but thanks, and she didn't answer -- just walked away. I walked out of the store and stood on the sidewalk trying not to cry, then decided to go in and tell a manager. The manager proceeded to DEFEND the sales associate and told me they're experts in fashion and know what they're doing when they guess sizes. I told her I just found it inappropriate that they'd guess your size off the bat instead of asking. She just brushed me off. It was a horrible experience, and talking to management only made me feel so much worse. I know there are bigger problems than body issues but I cried so hard in my car afterwards. It really messed with my body image. Asking for a size instead of guessing offhandedly feels like common sense and isn't too much to ask for, despite what the management might say.

This review is for Atefeh in the fragrance department. I had been wearing the same perfume for 40 years, and it was discontinued. I was not looking forward to trying to find a new one, especially since I am sensitive to strong smells. She was absolutely amazing! She was so patient and walked mw through many test smells, and we found a Valentino that I really like and purchased. If you go, ask for her!

This is the worst Nordstroms to shop if you are a person of color. I walked into the store at the same time as a non POC and an annoying sales person be lined it directly to me & got uncomfortably in my space offering to assist. However, that same sales person did not acknowledge the non POC. I politely declined the assistance as I explored a rack of sale items that were mostly jackets & blouses and within minutes the same sales person approached me again with a swimsuit in hand and asked what I thought of the item. I immediately felt I was being racially profiled because this sales person never acknowledged the non POC shopping near me. I have a background in retail and I know when a sales person is racially profiling. Do better Nordstroms.

They took the dior short booties back with no questions asked! They were worn for 2 hours but the lady who returned them didn't question anything! I did clean the shoes tho but yes this location doesn't trip on returns what so ever! I was in and out of there quickly! I'll be back!

I will never shop here again s The sales associates follow you around like rats waiting for you to drop a commission . it's highly uncomfortable to have one person follow you around but 3 is ridiculous !!! NORSDTROM'S cares abut their customers. That sums up their approach to retail sales. The customer experience is always first rate and this particular store is my "go to" destination. I had to purchase a birthday gift with consisted of two ties and a shirt and Luis Manuel was very happy to oblige and help out as they had some excellent selections to choose from. I never realized until today that NORDSTROM'S provided free gift wrap on the first floor and I took advantage of that and the wrapping job was great! I love coming here and you can never go wrong with the quality of the NORDSTROM'S brand! NORDSTROM'S is a quality shopping destination! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Working out on vacation wasn't on my agenda. But while walking through Nordstrom, I happened to see Tonal on display and this caught my attention. Really wasn't dressed the part nor did I want to jump into a demo workout sesh, I've seen TV and online ad's of Tonal and now I'm seeing it in person for the first time! Also this store is huge with 3 floors of shopping, an EBar, but the restaurant on the top floor was closed for some reason.

Great selection of high-end items the one issue is there just isn't enough staff to be able to help and or track down specific sizes so you're kind of on your own. They do have a good variety of different brands that you are not able to get at normal stores

I did some serious damage in the shoe department in the last month, and although I miss the great late Nordstrom in Westwood and their fantastic shoe selection, I was helped by a really good salesman, Monte, who ordered things they didn't have in stock, price adjusted, and actually made efforts to see if something was a good fit (no shoe salesperson has felt where my toes hit the shoe toe for years, but he did). I hadn't gone there since the pandemic and I was pretty shocked to see what a ghost town the Santa Monica Mall and Promenade are. So many shuttered store fronts. One star off for Nordstrom because of the heavy perfume that hits you on entering, and for some others store associates not to into helping customers or knowledgeable about inventory. But that seems to be the story in retail now. Not too helpful if they want people to cut the online shopping cord.

JUST LOVELY ! My wife and I love Nordstrom for their top quality clothing and great service. We were walking the Third Street Promenade on Saturday and near the end we found this Nordstrom store. It was on your list to take a peek inside. SO WE DID ! It's obviously an older store and could probably do with an update but it was absolutely spotless throughout. We headed upstairs to menswear...I've been searching lately for some quality short sleeve Henley T-shirts. We call them Grandpa T-shirts back in Australia but here I must ask for a short sleeve Henley. We didn't find much but a helpful sales person named Zodia suggested a brand called Vince which she said was great. We found one...not the right color but it looked and felt good quality at $90. We always appreciate exceptional service and Zodia gave us just that !

It has been since the pandemic that I have bought any shoes from Nordstroms. I felt the anxiety of getting the right shoes for my Halloween costumes and Chris in the women's shoes department was extremely patient with me. After almost an hour and at least 10 shoes to try on, I selected 3. Chris even told me that he will take care of putting away the shoes that didn't work! I was impressed and my anxiety disappeared!

Nice Nordstrom. It has 3 widespread floors, 15 spacious dressing rooms in the men's department and all employees I came in contact with were helpful. Store appeared well organized and fully staffed. One of the garments I was paying for had a very slight imperfection but was the last one in stock. Vensa quickly retrieved my Nordstrom profile and ordered me a new one. Overall, another great shopping experience.

This is very nice Nordstrom for sure! They have great selections and it's nicely laid out. It does lack the higher end brands that some of the other Nordstrom stores carry but that's not that big of deal given the location is not too far from Beverly Hills if you need to seek out those higher brand names. While we were shopping, there was a bit of a drama because a homeless lady ( poor thing) was on her knees, looking into a mirror at the beauty counter,m having really loud conversations with herself. This warranted the police, and mall security. I felt sorry for her to be honest because I thought to myself, that if she had treatment, she probably be a normal, functioning person. It was more sad than alarming. I totally understand that Nordstrom has to take care of the situation to ensure the safety of their customers. I bought a shirt while i was in there and the lady that helped me, Rachel S. was very nice. I also loved her stylish outfit. I have been in this store several times when I am in town, and it is consistently nice. I have to note that parking in this mall was weird for me. I ended up on the wrong rooftop parking lot when trying to go back to my car. Take note of where you park.

Now everything I'm about to say, has nothing to do with the fact that Nordstrom is one of my favorite department stores in the world... (smile) This place was amazing. Every single employee greeted us. Which threw me off. Now don't get me wrong, the ones in Las Vegas are amazing too but this store was a bit different. I've never had every single employee greet me. I was only in there for a pair of shoes for my granddaughter. Word of advice, if you're going to the beach and plan on doing some walking through some stores afterwards, bring extra pair shoes. Flip flops just don't work. So back to my review, two employees went out their way to make my granddaughter feel so welcomed and special. I really appreciated that, considering she wasn't too thrilled about being in there. The store was very clean, organized and their customer service skills beyond amazing.

I was helped by Jaisha L. (That's what my receipt says) today and she was so rude. She shouted out that my exchanges were worn and dirty when I literally returned them unworn with the tags attached. I'm not sure how she got the job with her terrible attitude and maybe she would be better working in the back rather than doing customer service since she clearly does not enjoy it. Especially working at the customer service counter. I have been a customer for over 10yrs and was not expecting this treatment. When I came last week and I was helped by Mona she was kind and helpful and knowledgeable you can tell she loves her job unlike the woman jaisha today who should not be working in customer service let alone at Nordstrom where customer service is usually top notch.

I came here the other day with a buddy of mine. As I am reformatting my wardrobe, I was looking for new sources for great clothing. Nordstrom was one of the first stores that came to mind. I walked in to see a great selection of clothing that fit my style. There were plenty of great collections, some of which I did not hear of before but would consider in the near future.. I did a quick search through the men's department, and got a good idea of what items of clothing I will be stocking up on first. As my education and career take off to the next level, I am now stocking up more on professional clothing. And with their great sense of style and quality, this store will continue to serve as one of my main sources for great clothing.

This review is all about the alterations department, specifically FIFI AND ALI! these two are angels on earth. I had a negative experience at another Nordstrom, where my dress was botched. Fifi and Ali knew exactly how to fix my dress and made it even better than before. They were so kind to me, it felt like they were my family. I will only ever go to Fifi from now on to get anything tailored. They are two of the best employees that Nordstrom has. I can't thank them enough. Please go see them for any alterations you ever need!

I love this location because of their stellar customer service! Once I brought in a pair of jeans to have a broken metal button fixed. I wasn't sure how they would react because I bought them at the Seattle store. They didn't ask me where I bought them or didn't even ask for the receipt. They fixed the button right away and they didn't even charge me for it. Another time, I brought in a couple of pairs of jeans (yes, I love jeans) that I had bought from a Nordstrom Rack. I needed to have them hemmed. This associate, Ben, got me a taylor immediately, and they hemmed the jeans in an hour. 2 Stars for cleanliness. Not sure what it takes to get help in the makeup department at this Nordstrom location but Bloomingdales did NOT mind taking my $470 two days ago. Upstairs I had to interrupt employees gabbing long enough to purchase a free people dress. I ordered a dress online-I will see how the curbside pick-up goes. That is all I can say about this location.

I wandered into the make up department in dire need of a foundation. I was browsing and then Madison greeted me with a smile. Her outgoing personality drew me in and her knowledge and intelligence kept my attention. She showed me Armani foundation which I've tried before and didn't really care for. However Madison exPlained there was a new formulation I would love. She color matched me and made me a sample to bring home, as I like to try fIrst before purchasing. *** What I really noticed about t Nordstrom Make up/ Beauty department was ASTOUNDING! Definitely worth writing this review, and I URGE EVERYBODY READ TO THE END!!! EVERY EMPLOYEE ON THE FLOOR!!! Had a smile, worked together in a supporting wAy not a competitive way or snooty way that sometimes you experience at department stores especially when your and your client are moving through the different product lines they offer. I felt so comfortable and the team work here was by far worth FIVE STAR REVIEW! I ended up purchasing a couple things from different lines: laura mercieR and YSL AND A BEAUTY BLENDEr:) the girls at the YSL :LM counter kept an eye on my dog while i was completing the transaction, and took very good care of me. I then wandered over to the jewelry department. I've been wanting a pair of gold earings forever! So this one girl ( I forget her name off the top of my head, but she checked on me to see if I had any questions or needed helP , I declined. I kept looking through all the beautiful jewelry , then I found a pair of earrings and I wanted to buy them and this lovely woman was near the counter and I asked to bUy them. She came over and asked me if I had anyone help me; so I mentioned the girl who originally checked on me, and she put the sale under her name. The girl who rang me up didn't seem upset or put off like I've experienced in otherr situations. She was sweet and helpful . Then we ended up talKing for a few minutes, she was sO genuine and kind. I forget her name but I do remember she was a newlywed and her Hubbie was going to Vegas for the weekend with the boys. I wish I remember her name because she was excellent and a snapshot of the type of person that represents the Nordstrom brand well! So this is a shout out to the beauty counter at Santa Monica Nordstrom. I will be back for jewelry and make up when I am feeling in need of retail therapy. You all work beautifully together and it is refreshing to see the respect everyone has for each other!

Please teach your janitors to be more kind and have good customer service !!!! Yesterday on 5/27/23 at exactly 6:12 pm I was waiting to use the restroom for about 10 mins and just exactly when it was going to be my turn this women that worked there as a janitor came in rude yelling stating "bathrooms are now closed " right in my face when I asked her nicely if she gave me a quick chance to use the restroom even after I had mentioned to her I had medical issues , this janitor didn't even care she kept stating "no " and tried making me go away and very rude as well horrible customer service, never in my life have I ever met such a mean janitor and doesn't respect that people have medical issues and have been waiting there for a long time already many just let you go in and then close it , I should have asked for her name and I would have made a complaint to a manager here.

I like coming here whenever they have a sale or if I want to just kill some time in Santa Monica. They have a good selection and it's not usually too busy. One time I returned some shoes that I wore for one day and realized halfway through the day that they don't fit, and the customer service people made me feel bad about returning them. They should either accept the shoes or not, don't accept them and then reprimand me. But other than that one time I feel like they're all very helpful and willing to accomodate requests.

Had an appointment with Ladan at the MAC makeup counter. They were understaffed and she had to multi-task with other customers', while she applied my make-up. She is skilled like an artist, and gave excellent customer service from the beginning to end. She listened to me, pulled up a few makeup options on her phone, and asked me which one I wanted. She had gold glitter on her eyelids and her makeup looked great. So, I chose a smokey eye look with purple glitter. I am 100% satisfied. Thanks Ladan!

I love shopping here! I especially love the cosmetics department. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Especially Yvette who works at Cle De Peau. She is very interested in wanting to know what beauty products you need. If they don't have it she will order it complimentary! I also noticed a lady named Reine who works for Chanel. She is delighted to help me when I walk through the department. By the way, it is always clean and organized here! Please visit Nordstrom for your cosmetic needs!

I love shopping at Nordstrom especially for my makeup needs. They have a variety of name brands available including Mac, Anastasia of BH, Este, etc. I stopped at the mac counter because they matched me last time but it seems like my foundation looked more orange than my real skin color. I had them rematch me but this time they sent me home with a sample to try before purchasing it. I wish I would have known that they do that the last time I came in. I also heard a lot of good things about the Este double wear foundation so I stopped by there to try it out. A nice lady was working the counter but seemed a little lost and couldn't even read the labels on the samples. She was able to match me though and I was very happy with how the product looked on my face. I went to checkout and to my surprise the $40 foundation came with a free gift YaAaY. I was a little shocked with the price tag as it is much more expensive than the studio fix from MAC. The nice lady also gave me a sample to try it out before opening the bottle I purchased. Overall: I'm very happy with my experience at Nordstrom but a little disappointing by the match I received at MAC. Parking is easy as it is located in the mall.

Very bad customer service. The final straw for me was some angry rude woman i had to deal with when i was picking up my order. No department store let alone the one that is positioning itself as a LUXURY would ever hire a salesperson with such bad manners and attitude. I complained to the management but they did not do anything. I am scared of people like her and i definitely will not be shopping at Santa Monica location again. Security guy in a public restroom nearby had a friendlier nicer personality than your employees. Hire him instead of your angry women.

The service I have experienced here at the customer help desk has been literally different between night and day. When I was working full time, I usually come after work (usually around 6PM to closing) to do a few returns. I was helped by the generous and nice Monique W. She was really friendly and made sure everything was okay. I enjoyed being helped by her. The next week I actually was finishing up work and was transitioning to move to New York City. I had a few items that I needed to return which I came around 3PM to do. Nothing was designer or super expensive, but was in the $15-$30 that did not meet my needs. I was immediately met with uncomfortable energy by Steven M. He verbally told me that "he was observing the times I have come in to Nordstrom Santa Monica" to do a return which was 3 times in the last 2 months and that unfortunately moving forward, he would not be able to help me and that I would have to go to the Beauty counter to return beauty products that did not work out for me. First of all, you don't speak to a customer like that. Just because I have returned a few items that didn't work for me, you also don't see the money I have spent on other items that I have loved and have kept. I walked out of Nordstrom trembling as he made me mad, but I kept my cool in there. The experience for both was literally between night and day. If you treat people like that, what is the difference between me ordering ecommerce, Saks, Neiman Marcus, or even Bergdorf Goodman.

Came in to look for some nice dresses. Sadly assortment was super casual and was more pandemic clothing. Even their shoe selection was very small. The merchandising was 2-3 shoes a shelf which looked so sad. This is my usual store to go to to find almost anything I needed for any occasion but a lot has changed since I've come here. Better to shopping online these days.

I've lived in the area a few years. I rarely shop, but I have a soft spot for beauty and skincare products. Yvette with Shiseido has changed my skin game. She helps take time to ask questions and is super helpful. She guides me through the seasons. She also offers incredible facials and tips on skincare. In case you have a skin question, or just want to try out a new product, I'd highly recommend chatting with her at the beauty counter!

Went to lingerie department w my lady today, was greeted by Jennifer. Needed to get sized, get some pieces and Jennifer's service was excellent. She allowed me to sit in the waiting room while she assisted my lady and got her everything we needed. In and out within a half hour and really appreciated her professionalism and knowledge! Go ask for JENNIFER when going here!

Me and my friend were enjoying our Friday night celebrating the weekend and my new job. Before we leave she wants to look at shoes so we go to Nordstrom to look around and we try on a few pairs. I'm leaving to Sweden the next day and really needed shoes for my trip, and since I just got a new job I wanted to reward myself for it with a new pair of shoes. I decide to buy the shoes even though I realized that they are a bit dirty and they are a bit nicked up on the suede I still decide to pursue with the purchase thinking that I could ask for a discount since it was the last pair. I go up to a girl and she starts to ring me up and I ask her kindly if there is a way knowing it's the last pair to see if I can get them a bit discounted since they have a small nick in the leather and they are really dirty... She is like I can order some new ones for you, but I tell her that I'm leaving to vacation tomorrow. She's like "can I ask where you're going?" And she's typing something on the computer and I'm like Sweden and she's like oh... okay, let me see with my manager, maybe he can give you a small discount or so. The manager is a slender guy with glasses. He starts off with I'm sorry but we don't do discounts, I can order a new pair for you? And I tell him about my vacation and that I really need these shoes. And he is like no sorry but I can't sell these shoes to you. And I'm like what?? Even my friend is like so you're not gonna sell her the shoes?? And he's like no sorry I can't because personally I wouldn't want to sell them to her and then she will use them and come back and return them. We both look at eachother in shock and we just repeat "so you're not gonna sell me the shoes because you don't want me to return them??" And he is like yes that is correct because they are defected in the leather. My friend says "so you don't even know if she will return them but you go off based on a situation that hasn't happened yet?" And he says yes because they are defected. My friend says "can we speak to someone above you? This is just not okay you are discriminating her". And he says he is not and he contacts his manager. He then gets quiet and asks me if I really want to buy these shoes this bad he'll sell them to me if they are this important. I just look at him and ask for the manager, and a few minutes go by and we can hear them talking behind us. His manager comes up to us, gives us a smile and asks how she can help us. I explained once again what's going on and she is like yes that's correct I'm not selling these shoes to you. And I'm like okay so if I pay full price you still won't sell them to me? And she's like no, I'm not selling these shoes. I'm like okay but why? I want to buy them. It's the last pair and I don't have anything to wear for my trip... She goes I really can't they are defected and I can't sell them to you. And I go " I understand that but it's honestly two small holes and I'm fine with that I just want to buy them because I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow. And she's like I don't care I can't sell them to you! My friend is like okay so you won't sell them to her but tomorrow will they go back out on the shelf? And she's like absolutely not, it's against Nordstrom policy to sell a damaged item and they will go right back to Steve Madden. I am like okay so how is it that the girl was gonna sell me these shoes just a few minutes ago, if you guys don't sell defected items? Also why would they even been out from the first place if they are damaged and no one can buy them? She just looks at me. My friend is like " I don't like how you discriminating her, if we never complained about the discount you would have sold the shoes, but the guy says that she's gonna wear the shoes and come back and return them, THAT is discrimination." The lady goes I'm not discriminating her at all I just won't sell these shoes to her because I would get in trouble. And I'm like "okay I really NEED these shoes, I'm leaving for vacation and I don't have time to get another pair or go somewhere else! Just rip the receipt I don't even need it if that helps. The lady keeps repeating that these shoes are not for sale so I just give up and we leave. I wanted to cry so bad I've never been treated this poorly in my life by a retail store. This place will never get my money or my business ever. And worst thing was that after I left I called in to make a claim and the lady on the line pretended to make this claim, which I found out the day after when I called to check the status, and I was nowhere to be found in their claim system... Terrible.

I dropped into Nordstrom around 8pm on Monday. I was looking for a product that would help reduce shine on my face with makeup application. Meredith went through several products trying fix my problem. She could tell I was clueless so she went step by step with make-up application. After she finished, she couldn't find the products we used but she searched diligently and found them even though the store was closed. I love the look.. she did a fabulous job. You can tell she really loves her job! I do recommend this place and I am going back Wednesday for more lessons and products!

On a long layover, our kids found their way into the ocean fully clothed. It was a blast - but then it was time to get back to the airport and the kids were half dressed and soaking wet. So we rolled into Nordstrom. They didn't kick these kids out for no shirts. They took us right in, helped quickly pick out new outfits, and got us right into a changing room. A few popped tags later and they rang us up fully dressed. Thanks guys for being part of our beach adventure!

Loved our service in your restaurant the food the waiter, the kitchen staff all were perfect. After a lovely dinner my husband went to look at shoes while I went to look for a simple black T-shirt. I am in a wheelchair and could not reach some of the items, sales girls standing around everywhere and not one offered to help me. I got a "hi"when I first came into the department then nothing . I even had clothes in my lap. I just hung them on a rack and left. I am so disappointed in the lack of service from these women.
