I had the most incredible experience at Nordstrom thanks to Micheline! I was browsing perfumes when she approached me with such a warm, happy energy—it was contagious! She introduced me to the brand Mind Games, and wow, I was absolutely blown away. Micheline was not only kind and welcoming but also extremely knowledgeable and professional. She patiently helped me sample all the different scents, making the entire experience so enjoyable and personal. To top it all off, she even gifted me a free sample set, which was such a generous surprise! Her kindness and enthusiasm made my day, and I left feeling excited and confident in my choice. If you're ever at Nordstrom and need fragrance recommendations, look for Micheline—she’s truly amazing!

Stylist Diane Kim is always so helpful when I go to Nordstrom for shopping on the 2nd floor, women’s clothes. When I was walking around with multiple clothes on my arm, she came to me asking for if I needed a dressing room, which I absolutely did. Not only that, she kindly and honestly provided feedback on each clothes and which one fit me perfectly. Her knowledge of the clothes style, material is exceptional, and she made sure I got the best deal. My shopping experience at Nordstrom is always such a blast thanks to Mrs. Kim. Most recently, I went there with my mother. We were having a hard time choosing the correct style and size for an Italian Wool coat. As it was an expensive purchase, we wanted to make sure that we were making the right decision. The store hour neared its closure, but thanks to Mrs. Diane Kim, my mom went home happily with her beautiful new coat. My apologies for keeping you late and after hours. Really appreciate your patience, positive energy, and always so smiling. My mom was very inspired. Mrs. Kim’s experience combined with her personal sense of fashion, and eager willingness to help a client made our whole experience easy, informative, and enjoyable. Updates Review 11/15/2024 I love shopping at Nordstrom but had a super exceptional experience in Men’s Fragrance with Bari. Nordstrom Men’s fragrance offers many great options. Bari was very instrumental in helping me find the perfect fragrance for a friend. She was very personable, took her time and introduced me to many options within what I wanted to spend and what the scent profiles were. She looked up many items on her phone for me too! If you go, ask for Bari as she knows her men’s fragrances very well and will make up your perfect gifts! I ended up getting Christian Dior Savage which she gift boxed with the Dior bag and put some nice samples in there as well. It was a very nice gift that my friend really loved. A week later he texted me that he was getting soo many compliments on the scent. Thanks Bari - you made this gift giving perfect for me! ————————— Nordstrom at Woodfield Mall has always been a great place to shop. They offer a large variety of styles and racks are nicely filled but not overly packed. Most departments are fully stocked but some departments like home and plus size women’s have minimal selections. However, they can get you anything they don’t have on the floor and they do ship it for free to your home. Their restaurant on the 3rd floor is a hidden gem! It serves alcohol and has a culinary chef that creates delicious seasonal items. The food is really good and it’s peaceful and quiet! Everything from salads, burgers, main entrees and deserts! They also have a nice barista offering quick bites and gourmet coffee drinks called Ebar. (1st floor directly inside the mall with seating area) Parking is a breeze no matter what the weather is as it’s covered on the first floor. There is 2nd floor parking as well. The store is always spotless and fashion trends abound!

I think the only saving grace in this store is the older lady in men's suits. She is always friendly, every time I stop by their store evening it's just to peruse their items and not purchase anything. Most other workers are not approachable and do not even offer to help customers unless you're a regular. For me, I purchase most of my items online from Nordstrom so there isn't a need to come in the store. The only times I do is so I can feel the texture of one fabric or compare similar styles in person. I hope Peter and Eric Nordstrom read this because its important for their customers to provide real time examples of experiences in store as opportunities to improve.

About a 1-1.5: Probably one of the worst Nordstroms I've been to, as their selection is very limited, and items are just not well-organized. Their women's shoe salon seemed like it was closing down, as the there seems to be like only 5 pairs in the whole salon. Just super sparse, The staff here are also super unhelpful, and not sure where they disappear off to. No one offers any assistance, and it takes a while for someone to be available in the dressing rooms to unlock the doors. I did find a raincoat and a blouse, though. Ample parking at the mall lot. +extremely limited selection +unhelpful staff +ample parking at mall lot

Their bathroom faucets always have ice cold water and their soap is watered down foam. You can't kill germs with cold water and watered down foam. This isn't a high class store, they can't even afford warm water and regular soap lol.

My favorite Nordstrom! The staff is always friendly and eager to please yet not pushy. The store is always well organized. If you need a size of a clothing item that isn't in stock, they'll help order and deliver for free. They don't cary the biggest selection vs. the Oakbrook but still a great selection and easy store location to get in and out. The cafe is a bonus to treat yourself to after shopping!

I just had the oddest experience in Nordstrom Woodfield shoe department. I was definitely going to buy shoes for my daughter's wedding. No one, I mean NO ONE was approaching us after a good 10 minutes to help. There were several employees coffee clutching around the register and sort of wondering around. No one greeted us, acknowledged us or even made eye contact. Finally, my sister approached a wondering gentleman employee. He said he was too busy ( doing what I do not know because we were pretty much the only lonely customers) he said he would fine someone. Apparently, no one wanted to work. I showed him the sandals my sister and I selected. He stated that they were probably too expensive at $350. I am a woman of means and could have bought 20 pairs on the spot if I had so desired. What a fool!! Moron!! Pretty offensive. He sort of threw two boxes at us and left. My sister put them on as even the $350 sale was not worth Mr.Offensives time. Apparently, there was a special way to adjust the straps to put them on easier but this was not shared with us until after my sister helped me. I did buy a comfortable pair of less expensive sandals that were comfortable because I have bad knees. I need to take my sister out to lunch as she was the only real help I had. Im not sure why the employee assumed I could not afford whatever my heart desires. I can, but NOT at Nordstrom's ever again. Done!

Uh...where are all the clothes? There didn't seem to be much for fall here, still a lot of summer stuff. And not necessarily on the sale racks, either. What's going on? I thought it might be the pandemic but we didn't encounter this in any other store in the mall. I thought for sure I would find some blazers, tops, maybe jeans here. Zilch. My friend did find a sweater. She always shops Nordstrom for shoes because she wears a large size, which they carry, but again we were amazed how little stock there seemed to be. I was delighted that the fitting room looked like it was decorated by a goth who went to Hogwarts. Overall, 2 stars. I know Nordstrom can do better.

Our favorite Nordstrom Rack location. This is the largest Nordstrom Rack in the area. Large shoe department. Large clothing departments for women and men. Easy to find the different departments as they are clearly labeled: accessories, women, men, shoes, home, and children. It used to be a fight to try and find clothes in the tangled mess but now it is fun and seamless! They updated the entire store and man is it fresh!! Clean restrooms in the far back right of the store. Their prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is very easy going. I especially, like the location because it's easily accessible. I just wish they had more items in my size.

This store is tiny, especially in comparison to L&T next door. There selection is not great, and I don't really see too much I want here... better luck at the Rack actually... hmm. However, I think they have excellent customer service... especially this once person in the suit area. She talked me into getting 2 blazers and opening a second account to get the $100 tailoring bonus, which I applied to the 2 jackets... which also got me a $20 Nord Note for the purchase... Yeah she is a 'PaceSetter' on the business card... hilarious. I liked that the tailor came up to me and took one jacket to be fixed right away... I know this is a ploy to get people to shop here again and again... and I fall for this free tailoring thing... at least I am not walking on the hem of my jeans as much.

As this was Nordstrom's, I was expecting a higher level of service/respect towards customers. I recently went in, as I had a gift card and I really wanted the vinglace wine cooler. I was at the lowest floor and walked over to the escalator to look at the map so that I could find the home section. As far as I know, that was the only location with a map. I had my husband and 2 year old in a stroller with me. An employee immediately ran over and said "Baby section- upstairs. You use elevator!!" She just assumed I wanted the baby section because I had my daughter with me? I found this a little assumptive of her. I told her I wasn't looking for the baby section, I needed the home section and was trying to find it on the map. She ignored me and repeated herself in a louder tone. This time she said "You do NOT use escalator." I got nervous she was going yell next, so I said "okay" and walked away. I mean seriously, I had no intentions of going on the escalator. I am not sure why she assumed this as well. I understand that she did not want me to go on the escalator with my stroller and I had no plans to. I just wanted to know where the home section was! If it wasn't for my gift card, I would have honestly just left. I do not want to judge a whole company for one employee, but it was a little disheartening to have a negative experience at such a fine establishment.

I have always enjoyed my shopping experience at Nordstrom and never had an issue but, unfortunately Saturday April 10, 2021 at approximately 12 noon while in Nordstrom at Woodfield shopping Center browsing through the purse section I felt my family members and myself were being profiled by three sale representatives working in the store. I observed the ladies hovering around us but not approaching to ask if we needed help. After a couple of minutes salesperson Zarina and the other two I do not know their names moved in closer.The incident was truly offensive. was when I had a bag in my hand and was approached by Zarina asking if I needed help and expression on her face made me feel uncomfortable, but I told her no, and handed her the bag to hold while I continued browsing, she was observed cleaning the bag after I gave it to her.. while walking away from the area where my family was located, what upset me the most was upon my return to purchase the bag I waited patiently while all three sales representatives watch my family walk away feeling truly angered by this disrespect, finally one of them pivoted my way and I just stated waiting on you guy to check me out. I did purchase the purse,but was apprehensive. I hope this behavior doesn't reflect the core values of Nordstrom but I would like to know these sales representatives were held accountable for their action and trained on proper customer service.

My mother and I frequently shop at the Chanel store here (we live very close to Woodfield so it's the most convenient). However, in this past year, the service went from pretty good to horrible. There are NEVER any beauty advisors at Chanel. People from nearby brands like Mac will sometimes come over to provide assistance, but in the end, they try to sell you their own brand. Don't blame them, but if I wanted to buy a different brand, I would have gone there in the first place. On the off chance there IS a salesperson at Chanel, they're always rude and condescending. It's like they hate working. If you want good service and a bigger selection, go to Old Orchard.

I came here after a web search told me they sold Sorrel boots here. I had just moved to Schaumburg 3 weeks ago and had heard that these boots were very good for winter conditions. Alas, the boots they had in stock were quite limited and kind of ugly. :( I wasn't too impressed by their selection of boots and after browsing through the shoe section for a bit, left empty handed because everything seemed priced too high and not worth paying for.

Such a pleasure to shop here , everything is such a nice quality with a wonderful selection. Bought a beautiful cashmere infinity scarf for a gift . I asked for a box and the clerk took my purchase and brought it back gift boxed. Also visited Laura Mercier and had the pleasure of meeting Stella she's one of the best makeup artists. She's only there occasionally. But if you do happen to go there and she's there I would definitely recommend her.

My spouse had purchased a very pricey Calvin Klein rug about a year and a half ago, we recently had it professionally cleaned per instructions however it developed brownish waves within it's metallic silver fibers. The issue is less with the rug itself but more to the lack of follow-up or reluctance to find a solution. I was simply told that the manager would reach out to the Calvin team and I should expect a response within a week. That time passed, I followed up again and was told there had yet to be any communication and the regional manager would not be willing to assist- basically this was between Calvin Klein and I, but Nordstrom would still act as a liasion. It's now been 25 days with no communication on Nordstrom's part. It's clear to me that they do not stand behind the product they sell nor are they willing to assist getting answers to questions in a timely manner. Very dissatisfied.

I am a fan of Nordstrom in general but during this trip, it has saved my behind a couple of times that I might shop here more often again. My pair of havaianas broke off at the strap but since it isn't summer anymore, I decided to wait to buy new ones until the spring. However, I am now on this trip and there is a swimming pool in the hotel that I would like to put to use. After walking around the mall for a couple of hours and found that stores are no longer carrying flip flops, I decided to try my luck at Nordstrom. Afterall, the one in the STL Galleria did have items that are not aligned with the current fall season (I needed swim wear before leaving for my current trip to Chicago). I came over to the shoe department and almost jumped up and down because I was so happy to see a whole wall of flip flops/sandals! They even have some of the decorative havaianas which I love. When I was checking out, they were on sale for only $20 and some change. Score! Needless to say, I am very happy. The customer service was excellent as well. Thank you, Nordstrom for not getting rid of your summer items. Sometimes, weird people like me are in dire need of something other places no longer carry and I now know where to always turn to.

The shoe dept. alone merits 5 stars, for the unmatched variety of shoewear it offers (online stores might have more offerings, but I need to try on shoes before I buy them). And great selection of higher-end womens clothes, accessories, cosmetics and kids clothes. Employees are courteous and willing to help. Hooray! For a big department store, it's soothing to walk in here. Check out the P.A. announcements - the woman's voice is so calm. Almost hypnotic. And a little secret for moms - they have the best family lounge I've ever seen tucked away upstairs. Padded cushions on the changing station (no cheap plastic pull-down changer). Luxurious carpet, nice furniture. God, it's nice. Five+ stars for that.

Before you read any further, this is a review of Nordstrom's lingerie department. So, I have very large breasts. I was wearing sports bras 95% of the time because no other bras fit well. And then...I went to the Nordstrom lingerie department and met Kelly, the department manager. I am not kidding--my life is changed forever. I was wearing bras that were the wrong size and had inappropriate support. With a fitting and recommendations from Kelly, I walked out with three beautiful, new bras that fit me well and literally changed the entire look of my shape. AND--the prices are equivalent to those of Victoria's Secret and the like. If you have large breasts and are tired of bras that don't fit well and don't support you, go to Nordstrom and visit Kelly!

As you probably know Nordstrom is known for carrying a large selection of quality shoes and clothing but this is the first Nordstrom that I have been to that has not been a "rack" and did not have the shoe selection that I am use to finding at the "rack" stores but more along the lines of a regular top end department store.

Came here looking for jeans. I'm 6'0" and wanted to celebrate a recent 15-lb weight loss by splurging on a high-quality pair in my new size. They had nothing with a 34"-35" inseam, nor did they have anything in boot cut, just skinny jeans. The sales associate was very nice and tried to help me, but she can't do anything when the store's inventory is so poor.

There is something to be said about good service with a smile. It is obvious that to work here you must have the right attitude. Whenever in town I like to check this store out. (The selection of boots this year are to-die-for). This is quality merchandise with the prices to match. Check out the sales, they are worth it. I needed MAC products and was helped as if I were a VIP gracing their store. It felt good, there is never that kind of service around where I live now.

Kudos to Tina Tiang- Pacesetter/Makeup Artist We are visiting Chicago from North Mesa Arizona. Tina went well out of her way to assist us in what's been a frustrating search for my signature perfume. I had a special event that evening and this was most important to me. They did not carry this fragrance so she made a few calls on our behalf, to try n locate the item. ( Intimately Beckham by Victoria Beckham.) She directed us to where we might find this. We very much appreciate the assistance and the time spent. Great customer service!

Perhaps it was just a particularly busy Saturday when I visited, but this Nordstrom was a complete madhouse; at least in the cosmetics department. This Nordstrom is a bit more cramped, but they have more full-line cosmetic selections than the Oakbrook location. I was able to purchase Kehiel's Restorative Hair Smoothing Spray, Philosophy coconut frosting shower gel, and Chanel nail polish in Vamp, products I could not find elsewhere. Like I said, the place was crowded, and checking out at each cosmetic stand took up a great deal of time. There were no lines, per se, but whomever caught up to a salesperson first was helped. The woman at the Philosophy counter was especially sweet and very apologetic.

Okay, so I'm not a big shopper. I hate massive crowds and wasting time (hours of browsing in and out of stores?! No thanks!), so much of my shopping is done online. As such, I'm in the process of getting my feet wet with Nordstrom: I've really only done returns here from online shoe shopping. I've received EXCELLENT customer service each time: I'm always helped very quickly and associates are friendly. I've returned new, unworn shoes elsewhere (:cough:Aerosoles:cough:) and they've been closely scrutinized for no reason...sooo uncomfortable and downright irritating. I've NEVER had that experience at Nordstrom's! I appreciate being treated like the honest person I am. Total fan. I'll be back.

Nordstrom is one of the very popular anchor tenants of Woodfield Mall. I don't know if anything makes this Nordstrom better than its other outlets, but this is an attractively designed store with a nice layout. There is a coffee bar in front of the main interior entrance, which can give shoppers a quick pick-me-up to do some more shopping.

You will have difficulty finding any good deals, but everything is high quality and a step above Macy's. Employees are quite helpful as long as you are dressed the part of a Nordstrom shopper. This company used to be the BEST!! Not anymore !! Return policy changed. They won't even hold items for 1/2 hour while you shop around. I ordered online and 10 days later my "in stock" item still didn't ship. Last 3 online orders showed items in stock and once I placed order they emailed me that they can't fulfill order. Such a shame. Used to be awesome company.

Don't go to this store ever! They could care less! Order pick up a disaster! Guy gives me useless piece of candy and some car fragrance thing I'll never use to bribe me to not leave a bad review. How about an hour of my pay which is how much time I wasted in a store that should go about and beyond but was 0 if I could give! I can get better service at Target honestly! I love Nordstrom. I USED TO love their sales associates. Why is everyone in the makeup department rude? I mean, I'm looking for a $60 face powder. The least you could do is greet me. My experience today ( Bobby Brown counter): I stand around trying to meet someone's eye... No luck. It's not busy, but I finally smile and say "Hi!" to a woman inside the Bobby Brown counter. The lady says hi back and turns away. Ummm, okay? I go by her, and inquire whether they have my fave fragrance. " Oh, I don't work at this counter," she says like I'm impeding her boredom and turns around again. Wtf?! Sorry, but if this continues, maybe people will find better upscale department stores to purchase their overpriced makeup in.

Over the holidays i had the pleasure to be helped by a rep in the shoe area. I had to exchange 2 pairs of shoes, one for a smaller size and the other for a different shoe in general. There are times when reps help you because its their job and you can yell they are annoyed or don't want to be there. This guy was so upbeat and polite and helpful. They didn't have either shoe in the store. One pair he was able to order from Hawaii. The other he couldn't get a hold of any store to try and get it. He took my name and number down and said he would call me when he found it. I left the store thinking "they are super busy he's probably going to forget and not call me " So Brian calls me the next day, Sunday afternoon to tell me he was still trying to find the shoe and that he hadn't forgotten about me I was so happy and surprised. On Monday afternoon he calls me again to tell me he found the shoe and he was ordering it. He is the definition of great customer service. He followed up and delivered on his word. He is da man. Do you have breasts? If so, then for the love of God - drop everything RIGHT NOW and get yourself over to a Nordstrom's and get a bra fitting!!! I had heard of Oprah spreading the gospel of the Bra Revolution http://www2.oprah.com/tows/slide/200511/20051115/slide_20051115_284_101.jhtml, compelled by the startling statistic that 85% of American women wear the wrong bra size. But I'm lazy and never got around to it. (Actually, that's a lie. I once got fitted at a GapBody and the woman told me that I should be an A cup, which was just all kinds of wrong.) It took a friend's own testimony of a fitting at Nordstrom's, and even trying on her bra (we look to be about the same size) that got me to get up and face that inevitable awkwardness of being felt up by some middle aged saleswoman. Thanks to the professionalism and wizardry of Gail, this was only a minimally awkward experience (yes there was some feeling up). But she was pretty good at checking with my comfort level the whole way. She took a couple of measurements and lo and behold, it looks like I've been waaay off the mark for the entirety of my post-pubertal life. When I shared this with Gail, she looked at me with a sympathetic eye and said, "Honey, we all were." (Most women wear a bra that is too big in the band, which often results in slipping straps. Women also tend to underestimate their cup size, not knowing just exactly how your boob and side skin is supposed to be shoved in there.) Perhaps all those years of eating cheese puffs and pumping my chest to "I must! I must! I must increase my bust!" may have worked. Anyway, the customer service is top notch at Nordstrom's lingerie department! Gail brought out a bunch of bras for me to try on and showed me how each was or was not a good fit. She even talked to me about proper bra care (Don't wear a bra two days in a row - let your bras "rest." Never wash with Woolite or regular detergent because it breaks down synthetic fibers!). Though we all know that Nordstrom is a little bit pricey, you really do pay for things like the customer service. Oh and their really nice bathrooms. If you feel like it's still too expensive, just get the bra fitting and wait for the semi-annual sales for some good deals (esp on shoes)...or just go to Nordstrom Rack! Now go and get fitted! It will change your life (and by that I mean, you will feel comfortable and more confident in your clothes), and you will want to spread the gospel just as I am right now. Trust me, your boobs will thank you.

This is actually a review for Elemis Facials at Nordstrom. Every month as we ladies know our skin decide to act up for a week. At the end of this week after too many chicken wings. fries, wine and chocolate... my skin usually looks like it belongs to a troll in heat. Elemis facials are my little secret for bringing my stressed skin and body back to it's glowing state. Kim (the skin care specialist for Elemis) has this amazing eye to see exactly what my skin needs and she personalizes every treatment. Ventured out to Nordstrom out in Woodfield! Yes I know going to Woodfield could be such a pain any other day & especially on a Saturday of all days. But it was painless ,which was a pleasant surprise. We even got a good parking space by the store. We went there because my sister had to return her David Yurman bracelet because the amethyst stone came off. Nordstrom is known for their services . They did not disappoint. While my sister was getting serviced I walked over by the Joy Malone counter. I love their perfumes. Right away I was met by the Sales rep. Very pleasant & knowledgeable of the products. She was trying to get me interested in purchasing the room diffuser but at $90 I politely said no. She was nice & not to pushy. After going over went to the Lancôme counter as they were having gift with purchases. Of course I had to get some items. My sister ended up getting new foundation & blush. My mom got her press powder. I purchased a new eyeliner & lip gloss. However they were out of my 1st choice of color for the eyeliner. The ladies at counter were very apologetic & offered to order & ship it me for free but I opted to choose another color which was a nice alternative. Very good experience here. I definitely like this Nordstrom in Woodfield as they have a good stock of all their items. It's always nice just to window shop or purchase items. I am so disappointed by the only store one in the MIlwaukee area . They are very limited in their products and it is not laid out nicely . Too much of a wasted space. If you like good customer service Nordstrom never disappoints.

I was on a mission last night for a dress to wear to two (ugh, yes, two) black tie optional weddings we have in the next 3 weeks. The BF generally hates shopping with me, because I get generally unhappy and self-conscious, and it drives him nutso. Anyway... Nordstrom. The selection was smaller than Lord & Taylor, but I found so much more to try on! The girl in dresses, I think her name was Katya, was genuine, super sweet and helpful! She made pertinent suggestions, was complimentary, and when I tried on the dress I ended up purchasing (which was not the most expensive one I tried on) agreed that it looked the best out of all of them. I love Nordstrom because they are known for their stellar customer service. The floor is always clean and organized. If I want to dig through unorganized racks and feel generally dingy, I'll go to Macy's Nordstrom management: Katya in dresses (don't quote me on the name, but it was something like that. Thin, pretty, blonde girl) on Monday night the 15th deserves some props. See that that happens.

After being scarred by my experience with their lingerie department (by Gail), I went back to Nordstrom last weekend to visit the Bobbi Brown counter (I always get my Bobbi Brown, Clinique and Mac products from this department store out of habit). I guess I thought different department = different attitude for this particular branch of Nordstrom. Wrong. I was out of my under-eye concealer and pressed powder. I thought I might need a re-match with color, too, since I've gotten paler here in Chicago after having moved from California. Kelly, the Bobbi Brown sales associate who assisted me, seemed in a hurry. I told her the concealer color I'd been using, and she said it's definitely too yellow/dark for my coloring now, so she gave me one shade lighter and placed the brand new boxed product on the counter without even showing me the color and comparing it to the one I'd been using, As for the powder, she made a quick swipe on my cheek with what she thought matched my color. I looked in the handheld mirror and I couldn't really see the swipe which I thought might be a good thing since it seemed to blend right in. Hard to judge with a tiny line though. But she's an expert and I trusted her so it was fine. What surprised me was she was not even going to try out the *new* concealer color on me. She was going to start to ring up my products, and I told her I'd really want to see how this new concealer color would be on me. Thank goodness I did because it turned out too light! She had another suggestion but it turned out even lighter so she conceded that my old color (warm beige) was indeed still my color. I love Bobbi Brown products and been a fan for more than 10 years now. I just hope people representing these products would be better especially in extending customer service. I can't imagine why Kelly seemed to be in such a hurry and was even impatient with me when I was her only customer during my visit. So disappointing. Please, Nordstrom, I wish that you would put procedures in place to make sure your employees uphold the values of their training. I went through the Nordstrom training in the past, and the recent services I've been getting are not in line with what I was taught.

People don't go to Nordstrom to be insulted, not helped, and ignored and that's why this place is so popular. I have ALWAYS had a great experience in this store and it's one of my favorites (shop here at least 2-3 times per month). I appreciate the staff and all they do, from the shoe section to my favorite accessories section, the staff always makes sure I am satisfied before I leave. Lovelove Nordstrom!

This is not the first bad experience I have had at this store since all the attentive sales people in the Cosmetic and Fragrance areas had disappeared. Today is the final straw. Yet another sales person that could not out down their cell phone to help me. When she finally did she reeked of cigarettes. She knew nothing of the products and didn't really seem to care either. I spent money and was treated like I was a bother. I HAD a credit for your store - no longer. I will take my business somewhere else. I left Macy's for the same reason. Nordstrom was wonderful. Helpful and great sales people who were knowledgeable and attentive. So long...I wont miss shopping in your store either. You might of been number one in customer service....not anymore.

Love the store! Love the selections! Love the brands! Love the variety of styles! Hate SOME of the Sales Associates! Most of them are helpful, however there are a few Associates with their noses up in the air and DON'T want to be "bothered"! Today, that's exactly what happened to me. It felt as if a couple of the associates that were supposedly working there today didn't want to work and just wanted to gossip. That's sad because I do like to shop there. But at times I don't feel welcomed.

This is one of my favorite Nordstrom locations. The store layout is great and easy to move around. The Men's department usually has a nice selection of items. If you're in the market for Men's casual wear ask for Ruth. I've worked with her multiple times over the pass few years. She's the best; personable and professional.

Where to start. I love Nordstrom's and all of their departments. First off, bathrooms when my daughter was born I came to Nordstrom to breastfeed on their comfortable couches and chairs in the women's lounge on the 2nd floor and the mom's room on the 3rd floor. It's dimly lit and quiet. What more can a mom ask for. Their changing tables are always clean and have ample soap and water to wash your hands afterwards. Shoes, I get my now 3 year old daughter fitted for shoes here. She loves the fish tank and the free balloon for cooperation. They have a great selection of shoes and sizes. We'll typically wander over to the children's section for clothing and then have lunch in the cafe which has wine, beer and ice teas. The women's section, there is nothing wrong with having a woman bring you 3 different brands of jeans in petite 16/18 range. Where else do you have that many choices. Oh and the kicker, they'll hem them for you too if you're 5'4" and lost between the petite and regular no mans land of sizing. Purses, I love looking here versus going to the Coach store where everyone seems to be in your business. I like casual browsing, I'll know when I find something and you'll know because I approach your register. Men's my fiance has found a shirt that was a bit snug, the lady at the counter went out of her way and had a larger size shipped in from Oakbrook. I have yet to have a bad experience at Nordstrom. Everyone of their departments have served my every need.

Normally, I am not a fan of high end stores, because I tend to think of them as over priced and pretentious. Nordstrom doesn't escape the first evil. As an iPhone Bakodo addict, I know that I can find things cheaper online. Yet, strangely, I am more than happy to buy from Nordstrom and pay top dollar for it. Why? Because they score big on customer service. I have always had very pleasant, knowledgeable people help me out and I have rarely been disappointed with the stuff I buy from them. Whenever I do need to return something, they are happy to take it back, and don't make my life miserable during the process of returning stuff. Just for that, you will be one of my favorite stores ever, Nordstrom. Keep it up!

This nordstroms location is decent but I wouldn't say the best in the Chicago area- if you do not want to go downtown I would first recommend the Oak Brook location because they tend to carry more brands from inexpensive to extremely luxurious. This store generally carries more of the basics. In a pinch this is where I shop but if you are looking to splurge and really indulge in your shopping experience I would send you to the Oak Brook store first.

I will buy men's shoes here over any other department store. The employees are extremely attentive, but not pushy. Any time I wander over to purses or sunglasses the sales people tend to get more and more aggressive.
