Nordwind Hotel

The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed was sooo comfortable!! The pool area is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the city. It’s always clean and seems newly done. The location is great, nice and quiet but within walking distance to the old city. We never even rented a scooter, but the hotel has pedal bikes you can rent so we did that one day to go to Monk’s Trail. We ended up extending our stay here because we loved it so much. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast is super tasty!!

The area is quite run down but with a few little pool bars close by which are ok and a good coffee shop just down the end of the street. You need a scooter really to get about. The pool area is soulless. There are basically 3 beds or plastic mattresses on the floor left out in the full sun. No access to cold drinks by the pool area. The room was comfortable enough but it’s always nice to have a fan or/and air conditioning.

Great rooms, small pool, breakfast is ok, nothing special and too many options for western food (our kids we're hoping for pancakes). Friendly staff and pretty good location.

Review of room 407, we have been allowed to move out of this room, if not, we would have moved out of the hotel. Why, we like a comfortable mattress and the mattress in room 407 is more like a hard board! Our new room is an improvement, but not as comfortable as we'd like. The reception girl was lovely and did all she could to assist - five requests: fix safe, fix bidet tap, more pillows, more towels and then she finally provided a bed topper, which enabled some sleep. Hotel is quiet except for the 5am rooster's calls 🐓 The breakfast is OK Their photo's shown are old - as the hotel is in need of some updates and TLC.

Great hotel I highly recommend near the quiet city center is very nice clean breakfast if you go to Chiang Mai come and say hello they are super nice. Very pleasant pool too

If you think this is a 3 star hotel beware plan for a very below average 2 star hotel, may have been many years ago a 3 star hotel, photos are not representing current year. The receptionist was brilliant and very helpful, breakfast minimal no cereals for us Europen people and very average even for my Thai wife very poor quality and a lot of cold food. Rooms are very tired, bathrooms dark no proper lighting, made a mistake booking here, the five star reviews are not correct as shown they are the same maybe done by friends. Disappointed as it effected our trip to Chiangmai we checked out 3 days earlier be cause we couldn’t handle it anymore and cost us double for the last 3 days Be aware of a double bed if booked they are not comfortable super hard and old mattresses, the single beds were ok

Stayed in a suite. Amazing room with a special view of the city. Receptionist took extra care to contact us when I left something behind in our room. Outstanding service, thank you

I was impressed with how attentive the staff was to my requests. And The Thai food served at breakfast was also very delicious. If I have another chance to come to Chiang Mai, I would definitely stay at this hotel. ❤️ love you
