NORFOLK MOTOR INN

Don't know what everyone is complaining about in reviews you get what you pay for and the only other availability near the weekend of the 18th / 10 / 25 was close to $400 a night so we stayed here and had extra money to spend on our nights out at Glenelg. Best budget hotel around Glenelg the gentleman at the counter was very helpful and informative. 5 stars for the price range you can't go wrong

The Norfolk is an older style motel; but the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the manager very helpful and the location perfect. I chose it for its location in Glenelg and because they have hire Bikes. I wanted a bike so I could ride up and down the waterfront which was lovely, such a pleasure. Not a 5-Star hotel but had everything I needed for a reasonable price.

We stay here every trip to Adelaide it's a very friendly place great location. We have been staying here for many years and will continue staying here for many more.

Beds, we're hard and uncomfortable. It's okay if you're not sensitive. Reception was friendly, and the car parks were easy to access. The shower pressure is really good. Near the beach and close to some awesome restaurants.

I have stayed here multiple times now and I must say this place is Great value! It is cheap and that does show but, This place goes out of it's way to provide the best experience for the price. They make use of every dollar you spend to provide a comfortable place to stay, The rooms are clean. Kitchen has toaster, microwave and kettle. They provide cutlery, tea/coffee, cups But no bowls for some reason. Staff have been friendly and helpful. Location is great, cannot go wrong with Glenelg. close to the beach, shops and a tram stop. All in all a great place if you are traveling and need to save money.

Room was disgusting, mosquitos dead and smeared on the wall. Cockroaches able to get under door, and don’t get me started about the kettle it was black and burnt dunno how they are getting away with it. The pricing is a joke you’d expect something semi decent for $130 a night 😂😂 don’t expect that at Norfolk ladies and gentlemen!!

Stayed here with my wife. 5th time over 40 years. Same style then and now. Good clean rooms close to everything nearby. Short walk to Glenelg beach and shops. Easy to catch tram or bus. Plenty of food shops near. Motel good value, quiet, comfortable bed and nice hot water. Will be staying here again and would recommend it to others.

Very nice motel. We stayed 1 night and the room was really nice, some space not too small. Very quiet area, with off street parking. Owner is very nice too. Also very well located with a Parisian bakery cafe just next door for pastries and coffee for breakfast that was awesome !
