NORFOLK MOTOR INN

Stayed here with my wife. 5th time over 40 years. Same style then and now. Good clean rooms close to everything nearby. Short walk to Glenelg beach and shops. Easy to catch tram or bus. Plenty of food shops near. Motel good value, quiet, comfortable bed and nice hot water. Will be staying here again and would recommend it to others.

Very nice motel. We stayed 1 night and the room was really nice, some space not too small. Very quiet area, with off street parking. Owner is very nice too. Also very well located with a Parisian bakery cafe just next door for pastries and coffee for breakfast that was awesome !

Motel und rooms are old und very used. Some damages inside the room. To expensive for that poor value. |30 minutes walk to the beach and to Glenelg jetty.|Positive: Next door you find a pizza shop for take away. Free parking. I cannot recommend that accommodation.

Comfy beds, portacot available, good olde little charm of a place. Great price for a last minute booking. Good service.

A fantastic place for a comfy bed and a hot shower at a great price , enabling you to spend more on your actual holiday.

Pretty good rooms all round. Water absolutely bone cold at 6pm. So go for a very early or very late shower if you stay. The person cleaning the rooms was great. Old mate at the desk was a little weird and cagey and for some reason assumed I was trying to scam him because I have a debit card instead of a credit card. He was a bit weird and confrontational. He eventually asked for a cash deposit which I was of course happy to give. It was all very weird. I also overhead him doing some weird slightly condescending explaining about the hot water system to some lady that was staying. If someone asks again just apologise and tell them it's a small hot water system, it runs out at peak times. You don't need to go on this long story pretending it only sometimes happens. People are not that dumb.

A ten-minute walk from the beach and Jetty Road, and a short walk from a pub and restaurants, it was the perfect non-CBD location to stay in Adelaide, with the city being a 20–30-minute drive away. Like most motels, it was a tad rundown, with the bathroom door and window not properly shutting, although the room was clean and serviced daily. Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable. Given these issues, I would say the price was on the steeper side but still fair considering the location, cleanliness, and the last-minute nature of our booking. The owner was very helpful and a great guy. Would happily stay again, hopefully with a more comfortable bed.
