Nornalup Riverside Chalets

Fabulous location, VERY clean & generally fantastic place to stay. Vicki was really lovely and helped us a lot. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved staying here. We stayed in the Willy Wagtail chalet for 5 nights, 2 adults and 2 teens. Very clean and spacious. Vicki was very helpful with any questions when making the booking. Very close to the river so the kids can kayak and fish to their hearts content. Also The Frankland restaurant is directly next door for authentic pizzas and craft beer. Will definitely be back.

Nice clean chalets. Lovely garden. The lake is across the road. Lots of national parks with in 30 km. The town is a 10 minute drive 🚗. A good location if you want to rest. The beach ⛱️ 😍 is close by Peaceful bay. Just beautiful for children 😍 💙

Our stay at the chalets was great. The staff were exceptionally helpful and a very nice couple. The premises were very clean and well fitted out. The grounds were well maintained. There were large areas of lawn and many native plants growing in the garden beds. There are many different birds there including wrens, parrots, finches, Kookaburras and many more. I had the privilege of giving them bird seed, places in small bowls hanging from the veranda roof. The chalets are very close to the river and approximately 10 Ks from the tree top walk and the valley of the giants. In all, a wonderful place to stay

We had such a lovely time at the Teal Duck over the long weekend. The cottage was so comfortable, clean and we slept so well. Our dog Maggie loved playing with Harry and the morning walks along riverside drive were exactly what we needed outside our busy lives. Place was clean and had all the basics, no canoes are available, despite what is advertised on the website or signage on the highway, firewood is supplied, but if you are used to a warmer climate, you may find it lacking, a basic one washing machine laundry is available and is free if you stay for more than 4 days, cabins are close together and if privacy is important, you may find it lacking. Place is quiet, and picturesque and is right on the river and has abundant bird life.

Such a quiet and pretty location on the Frankland River. Wonderful for just its peacefulness and also a more "active" holiday with lots of walks, canoeing and fishing right out the front. And a short drive to a heap more things. The chalets are comfortable and the hosts are friendly & helpful.

We stayed in one of the older chalets but it was clean and comfortable. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Perfectly peaceful and a bird haven. Would be a great spot for canoeists to stay as they could paddle up or downstream to places of interest. All supplies have to come from Walpole, a 10 minute drive away. No Vodafone or Internet.
