This establishment is lovely and I not only recommended it, I would visit again. We stayed in a hut (21) which had a bunk bed and a single bed. It would comfortably fit 3 adults or a small family. There is room for your bags in the hut as well. There is a picnic table and a fire pit (which we couldn’t use due to the current fire ban.) And lucky me, the bugs weren’t bad. The view from that hut is of the ocean and it is peaceful. You can just sit and watch the sun and the moon over the water. The beauty can’t be described. The smell of the ocean and sounds of the waves while you sleep can’t be beat. The hut was surrounded by raspberry bushes and we foraged. You will have to unload and walk your gear in through an established foot path in the forest to the hut. It’s not far, but just be aware you can’t park directly beside your camp. This isn’t car camping, this is enjoying nature. But the owners have created an environment where you don’t have to do without the comforts of home. There are washrooms and hot showers, and they are clean. I’d even say cleaner than some Provincial Parks I’ve stayed at. I witnessed the owners cleaning several times, and it doesn’t go unappreciated from me. There is a kitchen room with a sink, hot water and dish soap for doing dishes. There are also dishes and pots/pans to borrow in case you forgot something. There’s 2 BBQ’s to share. In the Longhouse there is a fridge/freezer for shared use, and lots of games for kids and adults alike. We didn’t kayak, but it looked like fun. Also note that this location is isolated. Bring what you need with you as the nearest grocery store is about 30 minutes away. Just plan ahead and you’ll enjoy your stay. Thanks Werner and Kim for a memorable experience.

We went sea kayaking with Van, he was very knowledgeable and just an all around amazing guy wanting to help out in any way he could. The kayaks themselves were the nicest I’ve seen and safety was the first priority. I will say if you have never kayaked before you may have issues as steering with a rutter, paddling and trying to negate the waves can be challenging, but overall a 10/10 experience and would go again if ever in the area

We stayed for one night with a tent. There were two of us — a couple. It was the second half of June, already warm, but the wind was still quite chilly. We used the campsite map from the website to choose a spot and made a reservation, but when we arrived, the hosts mentioned we were the only tent campers that night. They kindly let us pick another location. They even recommended a more sheltered spot since our original choice had an amazing view but was very windy. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a new experience — camping by the ocean. And waking up to that view in the morning? Absolutely incredible. As for amenities: there are warm showers, clean washrooms, a BBQ grill, some kitchenware that might come in handy, a shared fridge, and firewood available for purchase. Regarding tent sites — our experience was unique because we were the only ones there, so it felt very private. But if the campground were full, the vibe might be quite different. Either way, it’s a great place, and we definitely recommend it!

We arrived a little earlier in the day and our spot was filled with cars from the kayak tour. We left to go out and get some food. Shopping mall is about 20 minutes away. Closest food place is about the same so be prepared when you get there. The spots were incredible every single one of them had a view of the water we were able to watch the most beautiful sunsets watch seals, play, and hear at night There is no water or electric sites, but plenty of communal places provided on the grounds where you could charge your phone or get water. I was able to swim right off of the boat ramp. The water was clear and plenty of interesting sea creatures to catch him watch The original owner greeted us and spent a few minutes chatting with us. What an unbelievably kind, pleasant man. We appreciate it staying here and we would write it one of our top spots that we camped during our month-long stay in Nova Scotia We will carry these pleasant memories with us throughout the years highly recommend staying here

This campsite has everything you need. A bbq area, a big open grass space to play games, to sit and talk with other people. It is dog friendly. It has a big chalet with picnic tables a big fridge and more. We had the chance to speak with travellers from Europe, Ontario, London and more. The platform spot we had for our tent is the best we’ve had in a long while.

Second time there, we come all the from Ottawa. What can I say, we love this place. Perfect location, amenities, and scenery. Nice and quiet. Werner is one cool dude and clearly cares for his guests and property. We also when out with him on a group kayak tour and thoroughly enjoyed our time. This place is also fairly central in Nova Scotia. So it's to explore from the campgrounds. Whether one wants to go to Halifax, or go to the Northumberland it's easily attainable. We will be back 100%

This campground has absolutely everything a traveler/camper would ever need. The owners have truly thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There is a communal BBQ with propane, fridge, dish washing station, WIFI, charging station, pots/pans/utensils, washer toss, hot showers, clean bathrooms, kayaking and more. We almost didn't need to bring anything with us! 10/10 would recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at Norse Cove for a kayaking course and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The amenities are great and we felt like we got the real Nova Scotia experience. Thanks and we’ll be back again!
