Norse Cove Camping and Kayak Centre

We stayed for one night with a tent. There were two of us — a couple. It was the second half of June, already warm, but the wind was still quite chilly. We used the campsite map from the website to choose a spot and made a reservation, but when we arrived, the hosts mentioned we were the only tent campers that night. They kindly let us pick another location. They even recommended a more sheltered spot since our original choice had an amazing view but was very windy. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a new experience — camping by the ocean. And waking up to that view in the morning? Absolutely incredible. As for amenities: there are warm showers, clean washrooms, a BBQ grill, some kitchenware that might come in handy, a shared fridge, and firewood available for purchase. Regarding tent sites — our experience was unique because we were the only ones there, so it felt very private. But if the campground were full, the vibe might be quite different. Either way, it’s a great place, and we definitely recommend it!

This campground has absolutely everything a traveler/camper would ever need. The owners have truly thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There is a communal BBQ with propane, fridge, dish washing station, WIFI, charging station, pots/pans/utensils, washer toss, hot showers, clean bathrooms, kayaking and more. We almost didn't need to bring anything with us! 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Just had a fabulous 2 nights in an RV at this site. The owners are very helpful and informative about the local area. Werner’s two dogs are a real pleasure when you have left yours at home and need some dog time 😀. We had RV site 1 that has unspoilt views and a calmness that we all seek away from busy lives. All facilities are clean with an abundance of hot water. Kim’s charcuterie board is a must 👍. Dankie ann julle albei. Engeland is die beter rugbyspan 🇬🇧😂.

A few years ago, my wife discovered Norse Cove Seaside Camping through online reviews, and we were impressed by the high ratings. We decided to book one of the highly sought-after sites, Tent Site 20, known for its privacy and stunning views of the water and sunsets. This site provided the perfect setting for our 12th wedding anniversary, with the sunset directly in front of us. Initially, we faced some challenges with the weather in the summer of 2023, leading to multiple cancellations. However, Norse Cove was incredibly accommodating, offering us a credit to rebook for the summer of 2024. We were thrilled to secure the same spot (Site 20) for our anniversary dates in early spring 2024. Unfortunately, due to my NATO deployment from June to December, we had to cancel again. Once more, Norse Cove provided us with a credit. During my deployment, I received a 7-day leave and my wife suggested we try camping again. I emailed Norse Cove, explaining my situation, and within minutes, they responded with great news—they could accommodate us once again. Their willingness to assist us and make our anniversary special, despite our limited time together, was truly heartwarming. Thank you, Norse Cove, for supporting a member of the Canadian Forces and for your exceptional accommodations and patience. We had an excellent stay and will definitely be rebooking in the spring. Such a wonderful camping for tents ! The camping was super calm (in mid-july), we get the best view of the ocean and islands and the owners are really welcoming ! The shower are free, with hot water ! You can also rent a kayak ! We saw sterns, and even had the surprise visit of a fox. The sunset view was an amazing plus ! I highly recommend this camping ! :)

Our family had a tent site right on the ocean - amazing view! We used the communal area up on the lawn to eat our meals (several picnic tables, two grills) which also had a beautiful view. The dishwashing station was clean and had a door (so no bugs while you wash !!) and there was a fridge to use which was great for re-freezing our ice blocks. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We want to go back!!

Really lovely campground. We had a tent site right on the ocean, it was very quiet and private. Facilities were great and the staff were all very friendly! Near Taylor's Head if you want to do a daytime hike. Highly recommend!

Norse Cove was an amazing camping experience! Me and my partner came during a rain spell and still were struck by the beauty. The management was incredibly accommodating and helped us with travel tips. Can’t say enough good things you just have to see it for your self!!!
