We arrived early at the motel, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to check into our room ahead of schedule. The room was small, with a comfortable queen-size bed, though it moved quite a bit when either of us shifted. In one corner, there were tea and coffee facilities, along with two chairs and a small table. A rack for hanging coats was in the diagonal corner, but its placement unfortunately restricted the bathroom door from opening fully. Moving it to the other side of the door would have easily solved this issue. The bathroom was laid out as you’d expect: a shower, a basin, and a toilet. The shower was a highlight, with a large shower head, excellent pressure, and plenty of hot water. One downside was the noise; the walls were thin, and sound traveled easily between the four or so rooms in our block. I had made an error with my booking dates—I'd booked for August 1 instead of July 31. Unfortunately, Booking.com wouldn't let me change the dates, and the motel management offered no help at all. Oddly, I later received a general email about canceling my booking, but it arrived after the date I was theoretically able to do so, despite being told I couldn't. Given the booking issue and the overall experience, it's very unlikely I'll stay here again.

The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made a great first impression. Beds were really comfortable—perfect for a good night’s sleep. The temperature inside was spot on, not too hot or cold, and easy to adjust if needed. I really liked the layout too—having access from both sides of the room made it feel open and convenient, especially if you’re sharing with someone. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing space to come back to after a long day.

Lovely place with amazing staff, stayed here for 3 weeks while working in Norseman and couldn’t have felt more at home. With the new owners and the staff working there everyone had a smile on their face and always made you feel welcome and comfortable. Rooms have everything you need, clean and tidy, comfy beds and great showers Breakfast and dinner were better than some proper restaurants I’ve been too, no surprise the restaurant is busy every night. Hoping to stop here again if I’m ever back in Norseman. All the best to the new owners going forward.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Right next door to the Ampol which is handy. Had the fish which was cooked well and tasty. Helpful that they have washing facilities too but at $6 A load and $3.50 for powder, it’s definitely one of the more expensive loads of washing I’ve done on the road.

Nothing looked or felt clean. The blue towels are all bleached and shabby. 2nd time here only because there wasn't anywhere else to stop and rest before travelling through. Shower curtains are gross, old, and blow in on you whilst trying to shower. The room was meant to have a microwave, but no microwave, so we brought meals with us but had to go to the servo for food, which was terrible . Horrible experience both times. Beds are also old and need new mattresses.

Clean, variety of rooms with parking on doorstep, however you need to book well in ahead if you want a budget style room. This room is standard. There is fully catered restaurant with a live fire 🔥 in the evening and nice communal courtyard with BBQ next to the pool. Also laundry facilities available free of charge, just collect washing detergent at reception if needed. Tip: Put the heater on upon arrival as it gets down to 1 degree during winter. Convenience: Its situated in a convenient location - next door to Ampol and caravan park. Nice stroll to the town centre for those staying a couple of nights.

We stayed here for one night, being the end of our trip across the Nullarbor. Frankly, if you are not pushed for time, you would be better off driving on to Kalgoorlie or Esperance.|Our room was very small and very basic, the walls paper thin and it didn't look very clean. We could hear every movement in the adjoining room.|The motel has a restaurant, which closes early. The food was quite good. Don't bother going into town to find somewhere to eat as there is nothing there. I have never seen a sadder looking town, where just about every business is closed down.|We did not stay for breakfast, choosing instead to have something at the town's roadhouse. But don't take this as a recommendation for the roadhouse food.|Sorry Norseman, but I don't think I will be visiting here again.
