We arrived early at the motel, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to check into our room ahead of schedule.
The room was small, with a comfortable queen-size bed, though it moved quite a bit when either of us shifted.
In one corner, there were tea and coffee facilities, along with two chairs and a small table. A rack for hanging coats was in the diagonal corner, but its placement unfortunately restricted the bathroom door from opening fully. Moving it to the other side of the door would have easily solved this issue.
The bathroom was laid out as you’d expect: a shower, a basin, and a toilet.
The shower was a highlight, with a large shower head, excellent pressure, and plenty of hot water.
One downside was the noise; the walls were thin, and sound traveled easily between the four or so rooms in our block.
I had made an error with my booking dates—I'd booked for August 1 instead of July 31. Unfortunately, Booking.com wouldn't let me change the dates, and the motel management offered no help at all.
Oddly, I later received a general email about canceling my booking, but it arrived after the date I was theoretically able to do so, despite being told I couldn't.
Given the booking issue and the overall experience, it's very unlikely I'll stay here again.
