"Glass Beach, so named for its abundance of jewelry-quality sea glass, is a remote bluff and former small-town dump. Ecological concerns and development efforts saved the area from further pollution, and beachcombers are very grateful. You do have to work a little bit to get the goods, though: From North Beach, walk along the shore toward McCurdy Point, keeping your eyes peeled for pretty bits of smoothened glass. McCurdy Point is a three-mile walk, but you don't have to go that far. Be sure to get a timely start to beat the high tide, which can become dangerous if you're not careful, and enjoy views that include sea otters, bald eagles, and whales. Also, feel free to bring your pup." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Otherwise known as Glass beach. Amazingly beautiful everywhere you look. Rock hunters haven. Lots of parking along with clean bathrooms. A must see for anyone who appreciates beauty.

The sand is perfect for building, the park and beach are expansive and refreshing. You can just about see Canada, even on a cloudy day. The sand hopper's act like they formed a union and get skills training every year. A multitude of unique rocks to find. A beautiful place where the deer and the bunnies co-mingle. One of the best parks in WA.

Gorgeous day. Notes: - Residential street access- so beware of pedestrians. - Port a potties - picnic tables & gazebo with a great view - dogs must be leashed - dirt parking lot but people coming/going a lot so got a parking place on a busy Saturday.

It's been one of my favorite places to visit and beachcomb for many years. It's about a 2-hour drive from where I currently live, but I would drive all day to get here if I had to.

Fun place to walk and explore . Lots of rocks and can be slick when tide is out, so be careful and wear appropriate footwear. Bring a sweatshirt or windbreaker. Be mindful of the tide! Dog friendly .

what a wonderfully beautiful place. If you come here during low tide, there's a great chance you'll find Seaglass. It's a little windy and it can be a little cloudy at times. I bet if you stare out into the water long enough, you'll see lots of sealife.

The kids found a variety of sea animals. There is pieces of sea glass to be found on this beach, however if you want to find bigger pieces, you have to walk down a rocky beach that is hard to walk. Make sure you check tide chart so you don't get stuck down the beach. We only walked a little way and were able to find some treasures. It is a nice beach for beach combing. There are also trails that lead to Fort Worden. There aren't any bathrooms located at the park, but there are a couple port-a-potties across the grass area.

This is where you start to get to the Glass Beach. There is a free parking lot. Go down to the beach and head north (left). At around the 2 Km mark you will see a fence made of driftwood posts. At 2.8 Km there is a concrete wall. At 3 Km there is a large rock formation in the water. Keep going! When you reach the far point it becomes more rocky and this is where you will find old car parts and garbage. Don’t stop here and keep going around the point. 5.2 K is at the start of the good glass collecting area and it extends about 2 Km along this long beach. Pay attention to the tide tables as at high tide some places are impassible. We have had it out just after high tide and have had no problems. We have managed to collect around 4 to 5 pounds between the two of us in two hours.
