"A great short stop as you bop across Sullivan County, the North Branch Cider Mill is a sweet shop in a historic cider mill full of cozy, wintry goodness—from wool blankets and Swedish candies to freshly made hot cider and apple cider donuts—and they even have goats and sheep behind the shop that you can feed by hand, which we found to be a must." - Coolstuff Team

So sweet place. A charming local shop filled with cute things to see and so many items you’ll want to take home. Right beside the shop, there was a cozy little kitchen setup with adorable kitchen tools and decor. It was such a visually pleasing and delightful space. Even the donuts and apple cider were amazing. Such a perfect treat! Out in the yard, there were even goats wandering around, and I sat by the stream right in front of the property, enjoying my donut and apple cider while listening to the sound of the water flowing. It was such a peaceful moment — and I even spotted a frog, which feels like a rare sight these days!

Probably the best stop we made while up in the area. Such a unique farm shop, with a huge selection of super interesting things. We probably spent an hour just wandering around and looking. Donuts were delicious, but the highlight was the cider, shocking, I know. Would absolutely recommend to someone who was going to be in the area.

We made an unplanned stop by the Cider Mill and I’m glad we did! This place is lovely. Its renovation was done so well. They managed to maintain its vintage feel while creating a charming atmosphere. They have a variety of items from food stuff to home items. The store has a country flare and its proprietor, Tom was very friendly. The grounds were lovely and included friendly goats that you could feed. I look forward to visiting again.

I am in love with this place! There are so many amazing things to look at: beautiful decor, home goods, gifts, snacks. My son was super impressed with the candy selection too! So much more than I could have imagined hiding in here! And the nostalgia of being back here after visiting as a small child, and visiting a place my mom had worked at many years prior. Can't wait to stop in again! And looking forward to seeing if the press can get up and running again.

North Branch Cider Mill is my go-to for gifts and home goods, and I never leave without a bag full of knäckebröd and goodies. Pro tip, keep an eye out for exquisitely hosted events, like Midsommar, festive shopping evenings, all things baby goats.

Incredibly curated store with everything you could possible hope for to stock your kitchen or dining room. Tom and Chaz could not have been friendlier; we left stocked with pasta making utensils, candles, gorgeous lightbulbs, and (of course) donuts. If you end up in the area, the North Branch Cider Mill is an absolute must-visit.

Yelp
What a wonderful discovery. A great selection of local and imported foods, housewares and unique gifts. A cozy, welcoming environment built in a 1940s cider mill. A little off the beaten path but definitely worth the effort.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise to find on a rainy day in the Sullivan county Catskills! The North Branch Cider Mill, which was once an active cider mill and farm from the 1940's has a new life as is a sweet little specialty shop. I was looking for gifts for my family, and I was not disappointed in the quality of the items, from organic wool jumpers/sweaters to high quality stonewear and items for the kitchen. You will not find the run of the mill (sorry for the pun) gift store objects here, but instead items inspired by nature. British blankets and cushions, Sheepskin rugs, teas, soaps, candles, butter, pickles...just to name a few. The rustic wooden floor, the smell of cider, hand made provisions, add to a feeling of returning to a older and slower time. Because high quality is not inexpensive I was limited in my purchase, but I did notice some seasonal items were on sale. I was also told there were goats on the property which we couldn't see during the rain. It was a lovely experience and I hope to return some day, maybe even for Christmas time shopping!
