North Kansas City Public Library

Won't be returning to this branch, and will stick to North KC branches. Came here with 4 littles, went to and stayed in the children's area. We were the ONLY ones there. The librarian kept asking us to keep our 2yr old and 9 month old. They were excited with the toys that were out for them to play with and looking at books. We moved to the back room where there were more toys and to try to keep our kiddos quiet. She again came back and told us they were being too loud. If we can't have little ones here without being expected to keep them quiet as a mouse, in the kids section, then we won't return. Very disappointed by our experience here

Really quick access to print off anything from your email, if you don't have one at home. Very convenient, comfortable with nice friendly helpful staff😊

This is my favorite library. The facility is welcoming and bright worth lots of nooks for quiet reading. The children's area is great and well organized. There are tables there for doing homework or we've even met classmates there for group projects. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I also really like that they are involved wroth local schools and charities.

Wonderful customer service. The librarian is very friendly, helpful and provided wonderful helpful information. The library has a great selection of books and magazines for all ages. Magazines are avaliable to read for children to promote reading. Impressed by selection of book. WiFi avaliable to patrons. Overall, Well lit library with helpful and enthusiastic staff. Highly recommend.

Beautiful library and a wonderful place for all ages. I loved the themed rooms in the children's section and I love the dedicated quiet zone in the basement.

They have turned the lights off 2 min before they actually closed. I felt very rushed like the staff was trying to walk out at close instead of closing to customers at 5.

I really love this library, especially as a mom of young kids. They have great programs and storytimes, toys to entertain, a nice book selection, generous policies and friendly staff!!

Not sure what was going on with this almost 2 year old. I have never had problems in the library at all. The childrens section is wonderful with story time, crafts, summer reading program ect. All the people there have been wonderful!! Wondering if the almost 2 year old was being disrespectful to other patrons in library?? It is a library and certain rules do pertain even in the childrens area. It is not a playground or babysitting area. Hope everyone gives it a try and finds out for theirselves how wonderful this library can be.

some of the staff is not friendly at all and not only that some of them will treat you different if you come from Hispanic origin some of the employees working in the kids in toddler area are not well trained they are very disrespectful and mean to kids.The lady who is on charge of the kids area offended my almost 2 year old son.I was very upset when I saw the way that woman approached my baby just not acceptable.
