There is everything to love about this place! The chefs in the back continue to surprise me every time with the daily and weekly specials. Last week they made this amazing Cuban Roast Pork dish with cilantro rice and beans that changed my life!! The Tavern Burger is easily one of the best burgers in Central Florida, and I struggle not to be predictable and get it every visit. The chili is something special with the lime cremation, and the fries are perfection (thanks in part to the homemade ketchup)!! The staff has always been on point, if not excellent! It says a lot when the staff genuinely look like they enjoy their job. Brunch is one of the best ways to experience what the gang in the kitchen can really do! Most of the menu changes weekly, which is a welcome change from the same boring menus from other places in town. Even better are the $10 bottomless mimosas, which are poured right, champagne with a splash or orange 😀. HIGHLY recommended!

Went in as a party of 5 and we all enjoyed everything. From Food to Service, everything was great. Definitely a place I'd return to. The braised beef tacos were phenomenal.

Awesome bar with a great atmosphere and vibe. Of course, the smoked seafood dip is amazing but so was the burger!

Very loud. Limited selection of craft beers. Menu somewhat interesting and service is attentive. The chef is quite against substitutions so you better want only what is offered with each item. The Reuben is a very good sandwich and the Peruvian chicken sandwich is very flavorful and juicy. The potato salad is tasty but under cooked. It's nicely decorated and I'm sure it serves the neighborhood well.

Loved the service and the food! The portion size was enough for two. I ordered a salad and my companion ordered tacos, which neither of us could finish. We liked that it was a locally owned and operated spot that was cozy with a laid back atmosphere. Bar service was outstanding!

I've been here for lunch twice in the last week. It's quick, tasty, and not too expensive. Service was excellent both times, even during the busy lunch hour. My husband said the fish and chips might have been the best he's ever eaten. All the condiments are homemade, so make sure to get something with fries so you can try the homemade ketchup.

My boss brought a smoked fish dip in from lunch, and it was really good, so my coworkers and I decided to try this place out. Decent atmosphere, the host let us in 10 minutes early (11:20am and they open at 11:30am), and our server was nice enough. We got the smoked fish dip which was good as the last time I had it, but the quality for the rest of the food is very middle of the road, not bad but not great. I got the fish taco "special" which was 2 crunchy tacos the size of a Taco Bell taco (any time you compare a place to Taco Bell, it should tell you something), and that's it. No side whatsoever. I spent $20 on 2 tacos and a soda and walked out hungry. I'm definitely not cheap, I wouldn't bat an eye at the price if the food was good, but you could get better from almost any chain place. That's not a good feeling. Would not try again.

This is an excellent place to eat. They can overdo it a bit on the eccentricities tho. Like the flatbread no matter how we ordered it, it came black every time we sent it back. Finally we gave up. Just bake it for goodness sake. And I personally didn't like real anchovies on my Caesar salad. Some things aren't meant to be grilled and some things aren't meant to be seen. As for the deliciousness that was the yummy meaty sandwiches. The homemade mayo, hot sauce, and ketchup. Wow!The fries are outstanding and homemade. Great alcohol choices. Nice relaxing indoor or outdoor seating or bar seating choices.
