North Sea Tavern is one of better local spots on east end. Quaint atmosphere and good food with beer on tap. I ate the steak sandwich and crispy fries and salad.

The tacos were great and the servers too. I also got a po boy and burger. Pretty good quality, nice servers, and chill atmosphere!!

First visit and a pleasure. I was driving home to Shelter Island and checking Dinner options. Low and behold, nothing open Monday night that i could make it to. Drive depressed and hungry and spotted lights and cars on left at North Sea Tavern. Best burger in long time, cooked perfectly juicy accompanied by delicious blue cheese side salad with tomatoes, carrots and fresh lettuce. Since it was wing night, had to try buffalo wings. Perfect, crisp, spicy and full of flavor. Look forward to next Monday when I can try some of every type. BBQ , Buffalo etc.

I had the beet salad with fish, and it was delicious! Beer options are great as well! Overall, it was a great experience!

This place is amazing ! The vibes are just everything, was in town for a girls weekend and this place was literally so fun. We got to meet the owner and he was so nice . Incredible atmosphere and great food . The bartenders were phenomenal, thank you Taylor !! :) Hope to visit again so soon !

Just was there for Karaoke and the food was absolutely fantastic. The Mozzerella tomato avocado salad with grilled steak was done to perfection. The Fried Pickles are also one of my favorites. Service is always great and Kate and everyone are always attentive. I have always loved the Tavern. Don’t miss out on a great place! Sincerely Sarah Halsey

Came in on a Friday night. Reggae night ! The live music was great. Way in the back I felt like I was on a resort or something. Lol the band was really good. They have a $10 rum punch special on Friday nights to keep with the reggae theme. The Rum punch was pretty sweet. I Couldn't taste much alcohol but it wasn't bad. The front of the bar had a nice amount of people and they were playing different music. The music was good. Hip hop and r&b. Some of the songs were early 90s and 2000s hits. It was a vibe. The guys at the door were darlings and inviting. Welcomed us lovely ladies in graciously. The guys inside were also very pleasant. I'm not sure if there's a difference in going to the back for the reggae night but there was someone sitting in front of the door. We were escorted in to a table. Overall it was a really fun spot with good music. I don't know how many spots in the area have reggae but this spot definitely is go to if that's what you're looking for. Reggae... not dancehall music.

As always, another fun night at the North Sea Tavern. Their Philly Cheesesteak is amazing as well as their Tavern burger. Among the other dishes we've tried in the past, we never had a bad dinner! Great atmosphere too!

If you want a comfortable run down place to enjoy perfectly cold delicious tap beer with happy locals, this is going to rate 5 stars! But I was here for a meal, too. Big mistake! This is not set up to satisfy diners. We both ordered MEDIUM burgers, on special today for only $10. Over 20 minutes later, we are still sitting without lunch. We were the only diners there by the way, but looked like a couple take out orders were given. Bar average busy on this hot summer afternoon. We asked what was happening with our meals and we were told it was coming. Five more minutes of waiting. Finally, our food arrived with nice hot crisp fries and the requested burger toppings. But what happened to the medium burgers? The chef we were told was " too busy"and messed up the burgers hopelessly. In other words, the chef simply had forgotten about the overcooking burgers. The meat Pattie's were very dry, and tasteless. How could a professional chef screw up so badly our clearly specified medium cooked burgers? How could a chef with so few customers be overwhelmed and be so underperforming? And on Wednesday Burger special day! The waiter never came back to check on the food by the way, even though we were the only dining guests, just feet away from his bar. I ate all my burger because that is just what I do at 2 pm, no matter what mystery meat is served up! My friend stopped chewing after half of her burger was gone, and for the first time, declined to ask for a doggie bag, as her food was so disappointing. I told the server that I was surprised that a chef could not deliver a cooked burger as was specified, Medium. His answer was that the chef was too busy. Nothing was offered, no apology and nothing comped! Bottom Line: Please frequent the North Sea Tavern for their great brews, but avoid this dive bar for food. So many other restaurants selling burgers in town. 1 Star for the worst burger in the Hamptons, and the underperforming and overwhelmed chef. And 1 Star for the waiter, but who is appears to be excellent bar tender. Will spend my hard earned money at restaurants where chefs and waiters take pride in their work.

One of the best bars on the East End of Long Island. Very chill spot with a good outdoor patio and good music inside. Bar has a good vibe inside too.

Incredibly racist and rude. I went to pick up a carry out order and the person argued with me over and over because he was convinced I was an Uber driver (I'm Indian) and couldn't believe I could possibly have been the person who had ordered the food. He literally followed me out of the restaurant so he could :33 he where my Uber driver car was - this was after repeatedly and condescendingly talking down to me at the restaurant. Absolutely horrific! I can't remember the last time I experienced such racism.

i ordered Uber eats from here and my unsealed drink smelled and tasted like urine. Genuinely think someone urinated in my drink.

We ordered for pickup and it was quick(around 20 min). Burger is pretty solid and so are fries. Don't recommend BLT. Actual restaurant is a little gross and very much populated by locals.

I love chicken fingers on bingo nights, but ring game outside makes me mad. happy bday luca

If you're a local or a chef or bartender or anybody who is minor this is the place you have to be

Bouncer was rude for no reason. Vibes were not comfortable. I left right away. The atmosphere here was a little too macho in a bad way. Sucks

Food is always pretty solid, but bouncer was rude. Good late night spot if you're into the dive bar atmosphere, and don't mind the bouncer.

the pictures on yelp are a little misleading. This is a bar and although I called for a reservation you really dont need one. When I showed up the server had no idea about a reservation but since no one was there sat us quickly. The food was typical bar food and nothing spectacular. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich which was ok. The fries weren't bad but again this is standard bar fare. Also tried the wings and wasnt overly thrilled either. They were not juicy and the sauce lacked that punch you normally find in wings. The pool table and darts were a nice touch and one of the positives of the place. They had live music in front which was cool but didnt save my experience. Probably wont be back.

Fun local spot with pretty good food specials and decently priced drinks, great vibe.

From the outside this place looks decent, and it was perfectly on our routes home. We can win for lunch and we were promptly seated in the back as there really weren't may people in here. There is a large bar and then a seating area in the back. The "restaurant" area itself is pretty run down. There are exposed wires, it was dirty, paint chipping off the walls, space heaters everywhere, not what I was expecting in the slightest. I honestly don't know how it makes it in this area. The food was bleh and way overpriced. My husband and I both got soups, which were ok, and grilled cheeses. The grilled cheese was literally made with kraft singles, and for $16, I was expecting something a little better. The soups were $9 and both tasted old and like they had been sitting in the freezer. I am honestly still pondering how we spent over $60 on 2 soups and 2 grilled cheeses that were both pretty awful. The soda here is also one of those fake brands, I got a coke and I couldn't even describe to you what it tasted like but it wasn't soda. The waitress was fine but slow. Will not return.

The place is a bit of a dive. The burger east really great. Wife loved her chicken sandwich as well. The bar with maybe 6 tables had two heaters going full-blast to keep the place at about 65f. Beer was very cold. Again the food and service were very good.

Mostly crowd of 20-somethings. I must have been the oldest in the bar, there with my son. Great burgers and appetizers, served hot. The only negative is that the bar/waitstaff could have been friendlier. I know they're busy, but a smile would have helped.

We came here from Duck Walk Vineyards and Pumpkin-Town to eat and drink some more. As we were checking the menu, I wanted lemon drop shots for my birthday as tradition that a college friend got me started with. The bartender was friendly and she went ahead to make a few shots for us and it was yummy! We end up not eating here. Their menu did not catch my interest. Sorry. Maybe I'll come back to try their food. The exterior of the restaurant looks cozy and unique. When we walked in, it has the old style vibe as a pub.

Believe me when I tell you this place has some of the best food I've had in Southampton. Most places are just scene with crappy food. This place delivers on good times and the food. Great bartenders, great bands, great people, and yes, great food. I've had probably 20 different items off the menu and they're all really fresh and delicious because Luca knows what he's doing. Top it off with a great owner (Jon) who makes sure everyone is happy and taken care of. Do NOT sleep on the North Sea Tavern.

Super trusty neighborhood pub/restaurant. I came to North Sea Tavern while visiting a friend's family in Southampton, who are definitely regulars here! This spot has a full bar and a diverse menu sure to satisfy whatever tastes are in your party. Check 'em out for their specials! Wing Mondays, taco Tuesdays, burger Wednesdays, and shrimp Thursdays!

So pulled last night for a family dinner, 7:30ish, to see/hear an adult male vomiting out the side door. There really isn't any good/acceptable reason for this to be happening so we packed it back in and came up with a plan b for dinner. Gross honestly. I hear such mixed reviews on this place but that swayed my opinion quite quickly.

Food was yummy, cute little outdoor seating area, local little spot to eat if you're in the area. Personal pizza was on point! Def recommend to order if you go.

Great local place. Oysters are awesome and happy hour deals are great prices, especially for the Hamptons! Ask for Joe! He stirs a meean Manhattan!

Where do I begin? Let's start with inedible seafood. Warm smelly shrimp cocktail and oysters that scream NOT FRESH!! Ordered sliders for a couple of us and got burgers, no problem but then all the toppings were incorrect and one burger was rare and one well done. (Ordered medium for both). Been to this place with friends and family at least 6 times and it's just straight bad. So many more pleasing choices in Southampton.

Came in here with a group of 10 for a pit stop lunch on the way back to the city on a Sunday afternoon and apparently the lunch crowd has not yet discovered this tasty shack since it opened 2 weeks ago. I think our strategy was shock and awe and I'm pretty sure we delivered. We ordered and ate so many dishes - because they were delicious and we are consummate fatties - the staff couldn't stop laughing at us. By the time our request for a 6th burger re-order came up (I mean... $5 burgers are like $1 oysters, ain't nobody eating just 1), we all became BFFs. That burger, man: grass fed beef with shredded parmesan and cherry gold tomatoes and house sauce. Worth the muffin top. Runner up dishes which still get gold stars: tuna bao and heirloom tomatoes salad.

Wings man! The wings! Definitely get the wings. I got regular buffalo but for the past 10 wings these are my favorite wings this side of the canal. Put me on if I'm wrong!

So this is a bar with a kitchen, that accepts credit cards as payment and has its own parking lot with plenty of parking space. As you enter, you'll notice that they have outdoor dining available. Both in front and towards the rear of the building. The Bar Area is placed in the left hand side of the room. There's about 10 beers on tap, with a fairly large and diverse menu of food to select from. They have plenty of tables and chairs within the dining room for midsize to large groups of people to attend, with separate restrooms for men and women. They offer an ATM, Arcade Game such as slots, Darts, Free WIFI, Multiple TV's, Pool Table, TouchTunes, and they play QuickDraw here. Occasionally, they'll have Live Music playing with special events on certain days like Karaoke. They have a security guard posted at the door and Take Out or Delivery is available through DoorDash, GrubHub, and UberEats. This place has a fun atmosphere about it and is worth checking out.

Reliably delicious food. Great spot for take out. I had an issue once with a forgotten take out item and Luka was great to work with to correct the issue. Eat here!!!

I would literally rather eat 7-11 food than this place. Orders chicken fingers and pizza. Dude if pizza review prez ate here literally 1.1 score it's soooooo bad. It's cardboard . The chicken fingers we ordered with honey and they were so spicy for some reason. Why is honey topping spicy??? Seriously if your the owner and your read this have some pride and get your act together. Not cool and what a waste of money so disappointing

I love little local bars especially in the area I grew up but, come on guys let's get it together! I couldn't tell who was bartending and who were patrons. Obvious after sitting at a table for 5 minutes with no attention means you have to order from the bar (I guess?). No one said hello, no one offered a menu, I just took a stab at what they would have and ordered it from the barkeep after he pulled his attention away from Sunday night football. Food was good and drinks as well. With a couple of classes on how to handle guests this place could be a gem. Take this as constructive criticism and pretend that everyone who comes in will give you money for products rendered. In short I would have spent more time, more money and told more people about your spot. Unfortunately this visit didn't receive any of those positive attributes. Get better

NST has an atmosphere that is so much fun. The vibe there is GREAT! Love the menu, it's varied with decent prices. Craft beers and bartenders are great. Jon Pirozzi, one of the owners is very pleasant and totally efficient! I love this place.

Well, we were so pleasantly surprised to see all the improvements that were made to the North Sea Tavern and to the food! It was Burger night tonight. Great prices and the hamburgers were excellent! Some of the best that we've tasted in the Hamptons, very juicy and fresh. The hand cut fries were a welcomed surprise. Yum! And I have to say I LOVE the new outdoor seating area in the back, the patio Biergarten. This is a secret little gem in North Sea. Looking forward to returning on another warm summer night to sit outside and enjoy the food!

Nice staff for drinks and the World Cup game. Tator tots were good. Breakfast plate was meh.

Love this bar. We came here almost every night we stayed in Southampton. It was off-season, so crowds were sporadic. However it still had a great vibe for the time of year. We were hear on a Saturday night and they had live music. Food was decent and staff was very friendly. If there is a large enough crowd they seem to stay open late. It also helped it was very close to where we were staying.

My family and I were excited to try this place. Personally I was disappointed because I was hoping it would be amazing, it's so close to my house and looks really cute! We went for dinner after a beach day. Yelp said "kid friendly" so we brought our 2 year old nephew. Bad idea. - First, they served spicy food to this 2 year old. - The clam and corn chowder is a corn and clam salad covered in black pepper. Not even soup or chowder - my cousins steak was served to her over an hour after we all finished our meals (same table) ... This was so insane - our server disappeared and we got a new one, yet service was so confusing and not good - the manager refused to comp the steak which our poor cousin sat there and watched us all eat and just waited and extra hour for her meal!! Overall there is no way I'd recommend this place. I actually feel like they need to make right and fix this place up, from a service perspective. It's a negative experience overall.

Everything was very good! Service was prompt and courteous. The food was all scratch made. Mac and cheese was out of bounds!! Pulled pork and a grilled shrimp and calamari special was excellent! We will definitely be back next time we're in town.

My girlfriend and I stopped last night, July 21 2018. We hadn't stopped in in about a year. We ordered a plate of nachos because I figured how bad can you mess them up? Well, they showed us exactly how badly nachos can be made. Not only were they mediocre, there were eight chips. At a cost of $16 that is not a good deal. I would probably go somewhere else.

Only stopped in for a drink at the bar. Great review based on that. The bar and restaurant were super cute and the crowd was humble. Great spot in a beautiful area. Can't wait to come back and try the food!!

Came in on a whim while in the area. Welcomed by very great staff. Ordered the Brussels sprouts with bacon and order of wings. The combination and grill of the sprouts with the bacon was amazing. And the wings were cooked to perfection crunchy just how I like them. I did get to taste my companies orders too! The delicata salad which is Burrata with salad. The Burrata was really great. And lastly order of the fish tacos and the steak. Steak cooked perfect medium rare. And the condiments on the tacos were interesting. Over all great food very flavorful. Great ambiance. If I run into a place like this I love to give credit when's due. Thanks to Christina the manager & The chefs for great experience.

I have been around to see this place transition from one place to the next. Which saddens me to say that this will not be in business that much longer. Yes, the happy hour prices are good. I'll give them that. And that's about it. To start off, there was a fly in my glass and one in the water bottle they brought to the table. Took a little bit to flag someone down to come and give us a new one. We were never given napkins or utensils (after repeatedly asking for them). The waitress finally came over and took our oder. Also, I do have a food allergy and she made it clear that I would be OK and that she wrote it down and they take it very seriously. Our appetizers came out and nothing was correct. She realized this after she set down the plates. At the point we were so hungry we ate what was in front of us. Side note: when you bring out food as the waitress you should double check it. Fast forward to our meals. We ordered a few sliders (only 1 came), again we did not receive new utensils after our apps (but they were cleared away as soon as we were finished). The bus boy must have been bored and saw we were almost done and cleared as we were finishing. I got my meal (a chicken sandwhich with no bun and no fries). The waitress brought it out with a bun and no fries. Like I said before I have a bad allergy and can not have anything touching gluten. When we told her you said this would not have a bun etc she seemed flustered....and not even 1 minute later- a new sandwhich came out...which made me worried because I cant have anything touching gluten. I took one bite and spit it out. It legit tasted like rubber. Everyone at my table took a small bite and spit it out. It just became such a hassle we asked for the check and talked to a manager who charged us for the meal (still after we complained about the service and the food for me). I had to go down the street and get a salad to eat for dinner. Needless to say, I will NEVER be back again. Which sucks because i love the location and the vibe over all was cool.

Always great live music here! I've only had a few things off the menu but was pleasantly surprised at the quality! Service rocks with a smile! Christina is the best! Big selection of beers on tap! Lots of whiskeys and brown stuff! Great place overall. Highly recommended!

This is a great little place. Me and 4 friends went here on the Friday of memorial day weekend on a whim. The service was good, food was excellent (possibly the best fish tacos I've ever had!) and they have a pool table. We had dinner and then many drinks whilst playing numerous rounds of pool. We then couldn't get a taxi so the manager dropped us off in his car. Great service!

New menu, new decor, new staff and I love it all. Delicious rose on tap and the happy hour is $1 oysters 4-7.

North Sea Tavern is a fun place to hang out. You can arrive alone and leave having a bunch of new friends. The crowd is actually international I met nice people from Europe. The specials are great. The vegetarian burger is bomb! Waitstaff is efficient and friendly. Owner named Jon is fun to chill with. I got into a few pool matches and that was crazy. Playing darts was fun too. The DJ IS . Going back this week for Karoke. Overall perfect spot for hamptons fun!

Awesome awesome awesome. Went there based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Great beer, awesome fresh seafood, and awesome steaks. Started off with the freshly made fried calamari and chicken wings, pertly fried. Then got the NY Strip medium rare and my wife got the surf and turf. Perfectly seasoned and can't wait to come back here in my travels

Johnny, Jon and the crew have made the NST a super place to come and hang with buddies or dine on great food. Always a great time when we go, and never disappointed. Good food and a great atmosphere whether packed or off peak. Way to go guys !!! Doug
