North Star Mall is a classic in the city and definitely one of my favorites. It offers a fantastic variety of stores, making it the perfect spot when you want to grab a drink, snack or coffee, do some shopping, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll and some window shopping. The food court is also quite good, with a solid selection of restaurants that cater to different tastes.
Parking is generally ample, which is great, but be warned: during holidays, special events, or weekends, it can get really crowded. If you’re not a fan of bustling crowds, this might not be the place for you. However, if you’re looking to grab a snack, spend time with family, or hang out with friends, this mall is spot on.
There’s a wide range of shops, from clothing and shoe stores to electronics and collectible items. The only downside I’ve noticed is that, even with plenty of parking, finding a spot can be a challenge when it’s super busy. Also, I’ve had some experiences with the vendors in the middle of the aisles who can be a bit too pushy. They don’t seem to pick up on cues that you’re not interested, and it can take several “no, thank yous” before they get the message.
On the bright side, North Star Mall is an excellent place to unwind if you’re not into nightlife or late-night outings. Sure, it can be noisy and packed like any mall, but if that doesn’t bother you, it’s definitely worth a visit!
