We went waterfall repelling for our son’s 10th birthday with Jake & Noah. It was awesome. We are adventure seekers always looking for an experience & is this one is not to be missed. Would love to try the other tours they offer.
The hike in is not hard, but challenging, you have to be present & watch your footing. It’s my favorite kind of hiking because you’re not thinking about what’s next, the climb or your final destination. You’re thinking about your next foot placement. Was fine hiking it in our water shoes.
I wore a wetsuit, but I think I would’ve been ok without one (I’m a sissy, we live where it’s hot). In the waterfall there are some moss/slippery parts, just watch your step, for the most part you can see the moss. Our oldest is a little reserved & not the most athletic, but he had a great time & would happily do it again. They were great with him & his pace.
Side note: the birthday boy said it was his best birthday yet. (his birthday is during our annual roadtrip so he’s done some cool things for his birthday like ax throwing, rage room, side by side tour, airboat ride with gators & jet skiing with dolphins). That comment is back by high standards.
