"Located within Parap Village Markets, this is the Northern Territory’s only dedicated contemporary-arts space and a great starting point for visual-art lovers—especially on busy Saturday mornings—showcasing a wide range of contemporary work including exciting contemporary Aboriginal art." - Tamara Howie
Fantastic little gallery which puts on quite a few exhibitions every year. Unique, enjoyable and thought provoking! Always worth checking out after Saturday morning laksa.

Excellent exhibition based around the local relationship with Maccassar people coming down to trade for trepang. Well worth a visit.

Very disappointing that this Gallery gave misleading info on website regarding open times for Sat 7 Aug to view the much acclaimed Murrniny metal exhibition. We got there at 6pm to find the door locked and other patrons arriving, also didappointed.
Those in the know were there at 10am for the opening ceremony......

Very impressive. This is the real deal, with top-flight contemporary indigenous artists, rather than the cliched boomerang and didgeridoo stuff mass produced for tourists.

Great space, well curated exhibitions. One of my favourite places to frequently visit in Darwin.

They say art is meant to disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed… it would seem I am very comfortable. It was a very nice gallery though.
