Northern Taphouse- Plymouth

I stopped by Northern Taphouse in Plymouth and honestly had a great experience. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming — a perfect mix of restaurant and bar vibes. The staff are friendly, attentive, and really make you feel taken care of. The food came out hot and fresh flavorful burgers, crispy fries, and the wings were on another level. The bar has a wide selection of drinks, and everything was well-balanced and served with a smile. It’s the kind of place you can come to unwind after work or enjoy a weekend meal with friends. Clean environment, good music, plenty of seating, and an overall good energy. Definitely one of the best spots in Plymouth for good food and good vibes!

There is always a wait for this place and I’m not sure why? The food is average to me. BEWARE 3% Credit Card fee! Three of us had to wait almost an hour on a Friday night. I got the Sugar Bacon Burger ($17.50) and it was good but nothing special. My side of Wild Rice Soup had nice large mushroom slices and would have been excellent if it was hot. It was lukewarm warm at best. The Wife had the Salmon Salad ($18.00). I tasted the Salmon and we make tastier Salmon at home. My Son had the Salmon Bowl ($20) and he loves it and orders it often I guess. He goes to the Taphouse more than we do and he had a $20 off coupon. The ordering is done by the waitstaff on electronic handhelds. You don't get to see the bill when paying. When I asked for a receipt, I was surprised by a undisclosed 3% CC fee. If it is disclosed on the menu, I did not see it otherwise the Wait Staff should inform you at time of paying. Bad business model to me. The atmosphere is good with average food. Not sure it’s worth the wait. Don't like surprises

Great place for food, drinks and lots of tvs if sports is your thing. Highly suggest the Bloody Mary selection, but everything is good!

Had a great time celebrating a 50th birthday during a Sunday afternoon of watching football. At halftime they had a free raffle. We enjoyed the Bloody Mary options - each is just about a meal or more!

We came here at the spare of the moment celebration of life. We found that they were very accommodating considering we change the size of our party from 6 to 10. Our hostess/hostesses were very accommodating under the circumstances of our party increasing in size. They immediately got a seated at a larger table to accommodate all of us. Cassie and Quinn were super nice. The food was served promptly and hot. The drinks were absolutely beautiful as well as fixed to perfection. We were delighted, and the hostesses made our visit even more enjoyable. This was a great choice!!

Very good food but very loud. Cheese curds and mushroom and Swiss burger are must haves!! Kids meals are very fair and well portioned.

Food is fabulous!. I had the grilled chicken salad, and my friends had the burgers. The price was decent. But if like good food here is the place. Also, the food came out fast. I came back for the second time. Me and my wife had a chicken salad and fajita chicken salad. And at early Thursday morning, this place was hopping. I need to try more of their food. It looks like they can do no wrong.

It's located next door to a hotel so it's very convenient for the travelers. I had the Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl. Very delicious. That alone is worth another visit. The Chicken Wild Rice was very good also. It came with 2 packs of crackers. The bacon tots wasn't what I expected, I didn't like it. Some people might like it, but it's not for me.
