Northland Lodge

What a charming historical lodge full of character! Jeanne was a delightful host who felt like a friend. Check in was easy as was check out. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The linens are washed, hung on a line to dry and misted with lavender water to encourage restful sleep. What a treat! Delicious muffins, coffee, teas and juices were looked forward to for breakfast. The flowers baskets hanging outside were beautifully healthy and added to the welcome we felt. The location of the lodge is perfect to walk around the town of Waterton. We highly recommend spending your nights at Northland Lodge.

We had a wonderful 3 day experience at the Lodge. Beds were very comfortable and as a result we slept great! Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Muffins and coffee in the morning were fabulous. The owner, Stacy could not have been nicer. Go, you won't regret it!

Stunning and very quaint the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Truly a home away from home. Very intimate, quiet, and relaxing stay. Stacy is amazing and very accommodating. Welcome sheet is personalized to your name, exquisite freshly baked muffins each morning for breakfast along with coffees, teas and juices. Close to Cameron Falls and a good location. Walking distance of everything in Waterton. Lodge has a lot of history to it. Only downside is the sink faucet and no AC. Highly recommend!!!

Great host, room was comfy, bathroom had large fluffy towels. We enjoyed the outdoor space with table and chairs to enjoy take out and the view. Our room included a large mini fridge and microwave. Close to a few great trails and a 10 minute walk to the village for dinner. The room was as described with two beds and a private bathroom. The bathroom and shower are small but worked fine for my husband, teenage son and myself.

What a wonderful old lodge. The owner definitely takes pride in providing every guest a comfortable room with quality beds and linens. Breakfast consists of delicious homemade muffins. U was here with six other friends and we all agreed we would return. Thank you for providing us a lovely Waterton weekend.

I was very happy with our room at Northlands Lodge. The room had a very comfortable bed, good air flow and alot of charm. It was quiet. We had excellent homemade muffins for breakfast. The staff was supportive and friendly.

We stayed 2days and enjoyed every minute at the Northlands Lodge in Waterton National Park in Waterton, Alberta Canada! The Park is amazing, beautiful mountain and Waterton Lake vistas. The weather was amazing. The lodge supplied fresh baked muffins of several kinds every morning, together with hot coffee and tea and also orange juice. All you can eat, free for guests. We sat in the warm sun in comfortable garden chairs and had our muffins and coffee -every morning. Wonderful! Lots to do there and many wonderful restaurants!

The freshly baked muffins are outstanding which together with tea, coffee, juice and optional chats with other guests provides a vacation feel to the start of your day. The location was ideal for us, providing easy access to hikes and a comfortable walk in and out of town for dinner. We enjoyed the alternate private access to our room via the steps and veranda. We also appreciated the flexibility around checking in as it gave us time to organise our stay in our room - the Danish Tree House. The room is double aspect with a sink and wc but with no storage - ideal for a one or two night stay but really no more. Space is very tight around the bed as the room dimensions make it more suitable to a single rather than a double bed. A shower is provided but it is located downstairs between the kitchen and another private bedroom so some guests might feel uncomfortable using this facility. Due to the glorious surroundings and good weather, the friendliness of the other guests and the goodwill of the locals we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Waterton and would willingly stay again at Northlands Lodge but maybe not in The Danish Tree House.
