Cannot say enough good things about this place. KINDEST and most accommodating pharmacists and staff here- they actually care about you for once. Truly this place makes me enjoy the pharmacy experience.

I am visiting the area from South Carolina. The storefront was so cute, as I walked by, I had to pop in. Honestly, I didn’t realize this was a real pharmacy. I was amazed to see all of my fav products in one store. I usually have to purchase them on several different websites. I wish I could have spent more time and money here but not able to transport the products back in my carry-on luggage. Let me know if you ship :)

Truly the best. Getting this superior level of care and attention is so rare anywhere these days—especially in healthcare. But at Northside Pharmacy, the pharmacists always make time for their customers (many of whom they know by their first names) and explain everything thoroughly. They're more than people who dispense medications, they seem truly invested in their customers' wellbeing.

Visiting the area and forgot a prescription, the pharmacists here were so nice and helpful and walked me through getting it filled there! They also had an incredible selection of skincare and vitamins. I’ll definitely be coming here from now on whenever I visit!

Note - sign on their door says closed on Sundays in July and August This pharmacy is great! Lots of brands including clean / organic and fair prices.

Northside is a very big reason to live in Williamsburg. Unlike any pharmacy I’ve ever encountered—a harkening back to the days when you knew your pharmacist, and they cared about you. The team here goes above and beyond to make sure you have access to the medication you need, when you need it. Truly nowhere else like it.

A real local gem. Been going to Northside for 20 years since they were on Bedford. Great staff, incredible selection of premium skin products. Always helpful with insurance. Highly recommend.

My friend told me about this pharmacy so decided to give them a try! Very expensive & pretentious. Spoke to the pharmacist about a certain medicine and got the feeling she was annoyed and didn't want to be bothered. I heard most of their reviews are done by their friends & family. Save your money and go to CVS!

I started getting my prescriptions filled here about 2 years ago and the service has been consistently excellent. It's very convenient for me to get to, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the hours are great. Thank you Northside Pharmacy!

This place has everything! I stepped in to find orange water and the ladies behind the counter were so helpful and kind. Although I couldn't find that item, I was delighted to find all sorts of other niche products like the cocofloss brand that I hadn't been able to hunt down at other pharmacies. They carry plenty of harder to find high end skincare, hair care, and supplements (Nuxe, Oribe, Mario Badescu, Klorane, Sun Potion among others). Bonus - they had a basket of samples at the front!

Very pleased with the service at this pharmacy. I transferred a prescription and it could not have been any easier. I am through with large chain drug stores. Thank you for making this process very simple.

Northside Pharmacy is the best pharmacy that has serviced the neighborhood for decades. The pharmacist are true professionals as well as neighborly. They know their patrons and are always helpful. The shop is cute and boutique like with an excellent selection of goods.

My dentist is right around the corner. When I had my 4 wisdom teeth extracted, the paper work was in order and the doc told me to get my drugs before the surgery. 1- these guys are so gosh darn nice! It made me sad that I have to deal with the grumps in Queens on a regular basis... would consider commuting to North side for the service... possibly maybe. 2- They are FAST! I had my meds in 15 minutes. My vicodin (yeah baby), IB800, and antibiotics All placed in the paper bag and ready to go 3- location. Great neighborhood! When i marry a rich man Im gonna ask him to buy me an apartment around here for fun... and the pharmacy. 4- Unpretentous. reminds me of an old school pharmacy! They are great here. For real.

Easily the most pleasant, helpful, locally-owned business in the neighborhood. Caring, kind pharmacists. Great product selection. They're just good people and I'm happy they're 2 blocks away.

This is the best pharmacy you will ever find. It's worth using over CVS/ Duane Reade. You call, they answer, they help. The pharmacists all go out of their way. If they are going to be out of a certain medication, they call to let you know in advance (this is super rare - but still - that is great service). They know your name when you walk in. They deal with the annoyance of insurance companies for you so you don't have to get involved. And, to make it even better - they give your dog's treats. A real gem in the neighborhood.

Needed a last minute hostess gift and this place fit the bill! I was even able to pick up gift packaging from here too. Not only does it have a full conventional pharmacy but it has products for hair, beauty, baby. The staff is so sweet and friendly. It's conveniently across the st from the Bedford subway station entrance.

Did not expect such an elegant and well supplied Pharma with superb service. Many great European brands and high quality items. Exactly what I was looking for.

This is my go to pharmacy in Williamsburg. They get my prescriptions filled fast and efficiently and even try to save me money explaining and comparing medicine options that my insurance cover differently.

These people are great; awesome selection of skincare and other products. The pharmacist are so fast it's not funny; extremely quick and accurate and nice people unlike the Duane Reade on Bedford. This is old school service and care. Unheard of in NYC today. Support and shop local!

Northside Pharmacy: THE BEST PHARMACY EVER. Once, after my health insurance inexplicably stopped covering a medication, the pharmacist gave me number to call, confirm retroactive coverage so I could get reimbursed. They frequently do me the courtesy of calling and letting me know when a prescription is expensive, or if there are coupons or a generic brand available. The people who work here are so nice, so helpful, and on top of it, they have an incredible selection of beauty products (KARUNA FACE MASKS). If you are looking for a pharmacy, skip the lines and attitude at Duane Reade and become a Northside Pharmacy customer 4 LYFE.

Great luxury pharmacy that has all kinds of fancy hair and body care items, as well as many kinds of CBD products.

I've been going to Northside Pharmacy for years. The women working there are always so helpful, and if they don't have what you're looking for, they always have a good recommendation. Years ago, when they were on Bedford, I was VERY sick with strep and a high fever, and the two women working were more concerned about my well-being than anyone who actually knew me!

The staff here truly look after you. I've only lived in the neighbourhood for little over a year but I always look for an excuse to go there. They had a brand of cosmetics here that I use but they didn't have the particular product I needed. They have since gone out there way to acquire it for me through their supplier. I even got a really nice text message from one of the women here explaining the ETA of it. The whole experience shopping here seems opulent. I know, I know... Its filled with beautifully premium products and is more expensive here than Duane Reade (who have already priced out the independant Kings Pharmacy which stood opposite) BUT you get what you pay for here. SERVICE! Actually being a person interacting with other people who love their job and are so knowledgeable about everything they stock is rare today. We should all be supporting this wonderful ethos. I also love how they advise you on holistic alternatives alongside the other medications we seem to get forced upon us. Wonderful staff. Great experience. Personable service. Three great reasons to support independent businesses which disappear from our streets all too quickly.

I had a good experience filling, so far, fairly mundane prescriptions. They were fast--15 minutes on a weekend afternoon and friendly. When I returned to the shop for pickup, not only were both scripts filled, but the pharmacist recognized me and handed me the package without me even asking for it, even though I'd never been there before. Also, I had no trouble using NYS ADAP insurance stuff there and no trouble filling a script for my partner. Always a good sign. I feel lucky to have a good neighborhood pharmacy. They seemed to have a good selection of moderate-to-fancy bathroom products, but they filled the script so fast I didn't have time to browse for ointment and salves that I don't need, but make me smell nice anyway.

Do you live in Williamsburg? You do? And you get your prescriptions filled anywhere but here? Is there something WRONG with you!?? These ladies will help you out in a pinch -say your insurance doesnt cover enough to carry you thru the month -they will front you for the next round. They speak a crazillion languages. They are everything that is RIGHT about williamsburg. It was, and still is, an old school, Polish run pharmacy - but they saw what was happening in the hood and stocked up on cool beauty products. PLUS everyone knows that polish ladies have the best skin -and they carry all sorts of good Polish products that they can tell you about. They are nice, friendly, neighborhood-y, smart, helpful... I cannot possibly say enough good things about them. I wish I could give them 7 stars.

This is a great store to get all sorts of creams and lotions, the I'm so old I better start using anti-wrinkle creams, firming this and that creams, clay masks, yummy bubble bath (except I don't have a bath tub, boo), fancy smelling soaps, pretty nail polish, delicious tasty lip balms etc. This place has all the stuff to have a spa day at home! And there is a wide selection of Polish beauty products that for some reason seem like they may work better than your normal ones so grab your Polish friend or the waitress at the Polish diner and have her transcribe the packages for you. Now, the reason I gave it a star off is because if you need practical items you are much better off going to Kings Pharmacy. Northside only has one brand TP, one brand of paper towels, you get the idea... But for your beauty needs this one is a winner.

Doctors will prescribe all kinds of nutty stuff to keep their business booming, and I dont always want to drink the koolaid where doctors are concerned. They certainly never disuade you from what a doctor suggests, but whether its as simple as knowing how theraflu will react if taken with a cough suppressant, or some new allergy med a doc prescribes, they have the knowledge to let you know what everything is & how it works, and this allows me to make my own decisions with some degree of confidence. For my money, thats a priceless advantage to this truly 'stupendous' pharmacy. I've relied on them for years and they have always come through. And they also have a vast array of rare specialty products. What? You say your nails are getting yucky? They have the thing for that! Whaaat, you have post nasal drip & now are constantly clearing your throat, making an unseemly sound? They have that thing that fixes that! ....Whaaat? Your skin is aging? egad. Well they have the thing that fixes that too. :) Too good to be true?! Go find out for yourself! You will be a believer.

This is really all you could ask for in a Pharmacy. The owners and pharmacists Rachel/Halina are super friendly and knowledgeable and will go out of their way to help you navigate health insurance problems or questions should they come up. Great local spot that served the neighborhood long before most any of us lived here and with more personable service than you get from the chains in the neighborhood. The new spot on Driggs is in a beautifully restored storefront as well. Last but not least the prices are better than Duane Reade and Rite Aid too possibly because they actually know how to use health insurance coverage. Highly recommended.

I wasn't expecting to ever have an emotion about a pharmacy, but I love Northside. All of the pharmacists are wonderful- very friendly and helpful. There have been a few times where I've had difficulties with my insurance covering certain medications and they've been so helpful getting things figured out. In particular Paul is a rockstar and has a memory like a steel trap- he knows me by name and which medications I take without even having to pull up my record. Honestly Duane Reade would be more convenient bc they're open longer hours, but the personal touch and friendly faces have made me a loyal Northsider. As long as I'm living in the area this will be my pharmacy.

Best pharmacy in the Billy. The staff are super quick! There have been times where I show up to pick up a refill and I'll realize that I never called it in. They tell me that they can do it in 5 minutes. They usually get it out to me in 3. And I'm such a kid because I love that they have a candy dish!!!! Win! If you would do all this at a Duane reade, it'd take over an hour and the employees would give you attitude!

This is hands down the best pharmacy in the entire city. The staff is absolutely amazing. They actually take the time to listen and answer questions, plus they understand people and what they need. I had a problem with my insurance last month and they helped me get everything squared away. It was a huge help and I am completely indebted to them.

I love, love, love this place! They carry all of my favorite stuff including Boots Organic (which is hard to find anywhere else). Hopefully Duane Reade won't cause them to close their doors!

Business has moved to 559 Driggs Ave (still near N 7 St) - Yelp is quite slow with updating business records. The new place is nothing short of fabulous, the owner purchased an old store, gutted it down and did a total renovation in the 60s style, complete with mosaic marble tile floors, golden foil lettering and a huge candelabra chandelier. More spacious, well air conditioned, same great service and a personal advise from the chief pharmacist. The best pharmacy in the hood!

Northside pharmacy is one of my "happy places". I want to buy everything in the store, and the people who work there are lovely. Whenever I'm under the weather I can always ask them for advice and trust that they'll help me pick out something to make me feel better. I wish I could transfer my prescriptions and use them as my primary pharmacy but I work crazy hours and unfortunately their more limited hours just can't compete with the flexibility of Duane Reade :(

Hands down the best most reliable pharmacy I've ever been to. I refuse to go anywhere else. I'be been going here for 12 years now and will continue to follow them if they ever move locations again. The ladies there at the pharmacy and the pharmacists are amazing and even know me by name. Love them.

The pharmacists are very knowledgeable, helpful, and good hearted. This is our family's goto place for filling/picking up prescription and over the counter meds. They are efficient, helpful, and friendly. We've been coming here for 3 years (when they were on Bedford and now on Driggs) and they have lived up to our high expectations every time.

This is my neighborhood pharmacy. It's very European and run by the nicest people on the planet who know who I am, my name, and ask how I am. It is so much nicer than going into a big CVS with a robot behind the counter. On several occasions, my doctor hadn't called in my prescription and the pharmacist gave me a few pills to hold me over. Another time, I forgot my wallet and she did the same. The pharmacist even wrote me note when my employer questioned me about an illness. They go above and beyond. Plus, their products are AMAZING. Best luxury brands and some regular brands too. They only stock the best things. And they give my dog treats. Northside might be my favorite place in the neighborhood :) I don't know how I'll ever go back to a regular pharmacy.

I truly want to support an independent business over Duane Reade, but I also do not want my privacy to be violated every time I fill a prescription and the pharmacists announce the names of my medications loudly enough for all to hear.

Northside pharmacy has the best staff & prices. They are very reliable, and i use them even though they moved and i have to walk to get there. i tried some other places but at the end i came back to Northside, while getting some exercise on the way...

Everyone here is so friendly, which is a nice change in NY! Good selection of cbd / oils etc. Popped in after getting off the L train at Bedford to grab a few things and ended up spending a little more because of their good selection of beauty products and household items and pleasant atmosphere. Def will be back.

I first came here on a referral from my Dr. who claimed that my meds would Always cost less here. So I stopped in. Since then I have become hooked by their insane service. INSANE. They are so good. Three weeks ago I rolled up at 815pm....they close at 8 all the lights were out---and i was leaving the country the next morning. before I could leave someone came out and invited me in as they had seen me at the door. They rang me up and I was on my way. The service is insane. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

Rachel and her staff are always sweet and friendly. Rachel once open the store after hours because she knew how important it was that I start taking antibiotics immediately. They also have great face and hair products.

I don't know why anyone would go to CVS or Duane Reade when they could get their prescriptions filled by Rachel or Halina. These two amazing women are old school (not old!) pharmacists, who'll take time out of their extremely busy day to make sure you're taking your drugs properly. I had one Rx that could've damaged my liver if I'd had even a sip of alcohol--something my doctor hadn't bothered to tell me--and they made sure I knew. Everyone who works there is friendly and efficient. Plus, they have a great selection of upscale soaps and haircare product. The place is jam-packed, but the staff can locate anything in a flash. Love them.
