The Best Walking Tours in Seville (Updated 2025)

"To explore beyond the main sights I tried Not Just a Tourist's Off the Beaten Path two-hour walk, which led me through cool neighborhoods to cozy cafés and bookstores and small flea markets most tourists miss, offering a calmer, quieter slice-of-life experience away from busy tourist traps (tours from 88 EUR)." - Matthew Kepnes

We had such a memorable day with Not Just a Tourist! It started with horse riding in Doñana National Park, which was really beautiful and the horses are well looked after. Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling well, but our guide Carlos was unbelievably kind—he personally assisted me to the hospital and even took me to the pharmacy to make sure I felt better so we could continue the day. His care and dedication really went above and beyond. In the afternoon, we explored the chapel and the Alcázar with Sara. The sights themselves are breathtaking, but what made it so special was Sara’s excellent knowledge and engaging way of sharing history. We ended the day with a Flamenco and tapas tour led by Constanza, which was the absolute highlight of our evening! She created such a fun, vibrant atmosphere and gave us an unforgettable taste of Seville’s culture. Not Just a Tourist truly delivers unique, well-organized experiences with guides who genuinely care. Highly recommended!

I hired a private driver through Not Just a Tourist to drive me from Sevilla to Granada. On the way, I stopped in Ronda and explored the city for 2 hours. My driver, Daniel Fernando, made sure I knew where to go and he suggested a delicious restaurant for snacks. After Ronda, we drove to Caminito Del Rey so that I could hike. It was gorgeous, highly recommend. Daniel Fernando was very communicative and was kind and helpful. He taught me about the plants, trees, crops and geological markers along the way. I highly recommend booking a private tour and customizing it to your interest. I feel like this was the absolute best use of my travel day! It was one of my favorite days in Spain!

We shared a visit to Sevilla with two of our teenage nephews, as it is one of our favorite places in Spain. We have taken several walking tours in Sevilla over the years and this half day tour with Reme was exceptional! Her knowledge of the history of Sevilla, local customs, and best places to enjoy food and drinks were exceptional. (And appreciated!) On top of her impressive knowledge, Reme was skilled at keeping all of us engaged by asking and answering questions throughout the tour. Thank you for providing all of us with a memorable tour experience!

My husband and I spontaneously booked a day trip from Seville for the Iberian Ham Tour. I booked on the 19th and got confirmation the next day. We were picked up by our driver Joan who had texted me his WhatsApp to pass along his number and check in. He was on time and very personable. Joan got us to our destination a bit early (very scenic route), so he took us to a region near a dam for a little bit of sight seeing. Once we got to the tour, we waited a bit to get set up with our guide that spoke English. Our guide was Charlotte who was lovely and spoke pretty clear English. She gave us a lot of info and we got up and close to the pigs that were only a few months old. Joan was with us to see the pigs but then departed to get us tickets for the cave and cathedral tour, plus a restaurant reservation. Charlotte took us around the facility and gave lots of info because she was going to test us when we were going to do our tasting. We had to wear a disposable coat, shoe coverings and hair net to walk around. We got to see the whole process with a couple of demonstrations while people were actually working. We had a quick run in with the family that owns the company and they were working just as hard with the rest of the team. At the end, we finally got to the tasting and test out or new knowledge and Joan rejoined with us here. Tasting was phenomenal and we got wine and sherry to pair. Afterwards, Joan took us to Aracena to have lunch at a cute restaurant near the cave. He helped us order then gave us privacy while we had lunch (which you pay for separately). We walked a bit around town until our tour time was ready and we met with Joan at the cave entrance. He passed us our tickets and explained what to do before letting us go. The cave is a guided tour, no self pace, but they have an English audio guide which the Spanish guide would tell us which section to play. There’s no picture, filming or touching in the cave. It was a really beautiful one where you get up and close to everything. There are a lot of stairs and a mix of steep and not steep. After the cave, we attempted to go to the castle which is up a hill next to the cave, but we were too tired and wanted to head back. Joan was able to get us back to where he picked us up and we napped most of the way there. We chatted a bit and I got to ask question about the train station since we were headed there the next day. Joan was super great driver and helpful. He also gave us privacy when we needed it. 10/10 recommend this tour with Not Just a Tourist!

I highly recommend Not Just a Tourist. We used their private transfer from Granada to Seville with stops in Ronda, Zahara, & Sentenil. Mahsa was very helpful with setting up the details. Our driver/guide Joan is a definite asset to this company. He was personable, knowledgeable, and willing to answer our many questions. He even took us to a great local restaurant away from the crowded touristy area. Very comfortable van for our party of 6 adults. Would 100% use Joan and this company again. Well done!

We had the same driver and guide for our visit to Ronda and transfer from Seville to Lisbon with a stop at Christ the King. His name was Joan Bocanegra. We were very pleased with his service and recommend you request him for your next transfer or guide Sincerely, Don Middlebrook

Not Just a Tourist managed six (6) different touring experiences over a 10 day trip to Southern Spain (Seville and Granada) and Morrocco. They listened to understand our interests, helped us plan the ideal itinerary, and took the worry of managing details away. Their guides were interesting, informative and fun. We know we would not have had such a positive experienced had we managed on our own.

We were extremely fortunate to have Carlos as our driver for two of our adventures. He picked us up in a beautiful Mercedes sedan for our tour of Cordoba and Carmona. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable about the towns. He even provided details of points along the way. Our second day was transport us from Seville to Malaga with a stop in Ronda on the way. He escorted us to the historic Roman bridge and then was able to get us a table for lunch overlooking that same beautiful bridge. We highly recommend Not Just a Tourist and recommend that you request Carlos as your guide. You won’t be disappointed.
