A wonderful addition to Given Terrace, the food and wine are both tops.

Brisbane: Just as cool as Syd/Mel, I promise

I had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant recently and overall, it was a delightful experience. The set menu offered excellent value for the price, and the portion sizes were generous. Some mentions from the menu; 🥩Hokkaido Scallops - were overcooked and tough 🥩Wollemi Duck Breast - flavourful but on the salty side, meat was tender & easily came off the bone 🥩Magra Lamb Rump - well seasoned & was not at all gamey 🥩Steak - although cooked well, had some areas that were slightly dry

Went to this place with a group of friends. All the staff were nice and friendly. Nice atmosphere, very rustic yet classy setting. We ordered the chef’s menu, which is their set menu for the season. In my honest opinion, it is on the average side. Oysters and scallops were good, the bun used for the sliders were a bit not proportioned with the protein used. Can’t really taste crab/seafood in the pasta, the steak was okay, and our dessert came 30mins after our mains. (But they gave us dessert wine for serving it late😅) but when the dessert came, it was below average 😞 - overall, it was okay. Good service tho! 🙂

I dined here for my friends birthday. We ordered a lot of dishes to share. Overall they were all finely presented and flavoursome. I would totally come back.

We echo another reviewer's sentiments. Good food by the chefs, letdown by poor service. Our servers were openly flirting with each other. Head resting on each other's shoulders, hand holding, not-so-secret-hugs at the service station, and conversations where their faces were only 5cm apart. Not the fault of the restaurant owners. Good labour is hard to find these days. I should've requested to sit elsewhere. And not right in front of the dam service station facing them. Came here for a birthday celebration and got more than i bargained for with that romance drama. We didn't get a happy birthday greeting, no cakes, we got a candle tho. Other restaurants would've thrown in a free dessert for less than $60/head let alone $130/head. Chardonnay was flat and clearly opened for too long... oxidised. Quite sad.... Food was great tho. We enjoyed the steak and jus and the duck ragu. Scallops and Brocollini was the epitome of perfection. Not overly seasoned. Executed well.... I have to add that the Carbonara for kids was really tasty. My kid emptied her plate. Okay, but at least our server bothered to explain every dish that was served. Not bad... Tldr; Good food. Bad drinks. Bad service.

The space matches the building well, attractive, not a show room but slightly homely. The service was polite but fun and happy to engage with us. Certainly knowledgable enough to help navigate the wine list - the selections hit the the spot. The atmosphere was casual in a good way. Yes we did have the later seating but still felt very welcome lingering after the food. The food was pricey, but portioned appropriately and came out at the right times. The beef carpaccio was definitely the stand out, melt in the mouth textures. The risotto was also savoured. The Wombok I remember as being very garlicly, and the dessert was disappointing. I couldn’t find the rum, or a texture you’d expect with something ‘soaked’, and I struggled getting the vanilla in the ice-cream. A spontaneous post meal espresso martini was dangerously smooth. For the price the food was just good, for the whole experience it felt well justified. I’d return for the wine experience.

Absolutely delicious. We got the tasting menu and the waiter was happy to suit our dietary requirements. We almost rolled out of there it was such a large amount of food for two! Will happily be back. The burrata, quail and beef were next level. Update as we went back and got the new tasting menu for 4 and it was just as delicious. Haven’t recommended NOTA to many friends who have been just as impressed.

I will give them 4 star. Service 4 star as they didn’t change plates and cutlery for main. Lamb - maybe mutton? String smell Crab pasta is nice but instead if bread crumb i would use karasumi! For fish of the day was cobia and fish was nice but over done with capers.. it would be nicer if they had salsa or olive sauce with olive oil.
