Nothofagus Bed & Breakfast

This is the perfect guesthouse. The rooms and bathroom are immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast room has big windows with plenty of light and views to Fitz Roy. There is also a comfortable communal sofa area, a fridge and although no kitchen, we appreciated being able to make and eat a cold meal on one night in the dining area. It's also quite small so there weren't too many other guests, but there was a nice atmosphere. The owners are lovely and very happy to help. A particular treat was the hot milk at breakfast to go with the nice coffee - not always a given! Would not hesitate to stay again.

An exceptionally cozy, quiet and clean place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful all the time. Even though we had a room with a shared bathroom, the bathroom was constantly taken cared off and cleaned - even better than having a private one! We loved this place🍃♥️

Nothofagus B&B was a quiet and cozy place to stay in El Chalten. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We got a private room with a shared bathroom and both were clean and spacious. Breakfast starts at 7:30am, but if you are trying to get an early start to your day, they can pack it for you the night before. The breakfast is the same each day and is a little basic so we did get a little sick of eating the same thing after 5 days.

Great place to stay in El Chalten: very comfortable and clean. Staff were all very nice and helpful, the service was great. We got one of the rooms with private bathroom and it was big, clean, luminous and very comfortable.|Breakfast was ok, not hot plates, but had all the basics.

We had a wonderful stay at charming Nothofagus B&B. The people were so nice and the rooms were comfortable. If you organize ahead of time, they had delicious bakery separately toasted gluten-free bread for breakfast as part of their tasty breakfast buffet.

If you're considering staying here - go ahead and do it. My wife and I spent 7 days at Nothofagus and it's been nothing short of incredible. The accommodations are incredibly cozy, comfortable, clean, and extremely well located. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Nothofagus provides breakfast for everyone each morning and if you're an early hiker, they will leave it out for you the night before so you can grab some coffee, some light breakfast, and get out the door so you can go do what you're here to do - explore the beauty of El Chalten! We would definitely stay here and recommend to anyone traveling to the area.

It is a very cosy B&B, where you feel comfortable instantly. We stayed for a few nights and liked it. Breakfast is good, rooms are cosy and clean. There is space to store food and you can buy drinks. Would recommend for starting your hiking trips.
