Notre Dame Rooftop Restaurant – Jerusalem | 4.4/5 Perched atop one of the most iconic locations in Jerusalem, the Notre Dame Rooftop Restaurant delivers an experience that’s truly memorable. The service here is solidly above average — professional, attentive, but not overbearing, allowing you to fully soak in the atmosphere. And what an atmosphere it is. The view alone is worth the visit: an incredible, unique angle over the Temple Mount and the Old City that you simply won’t get anywhere else. For an even more breathtaking perspective, definitely spring for the overlook on the opposite side of the building. It’s worth the extra cost for the photo op and the panoramic view you’ll remember long after your trip. The wine list is nicely curated, featuring a good mix of Italian, French, and local Israeli wines. It’s not overwhelming, but there are real gems if you know what you’re looking for — you can easily find a Jubilee among the French selections or a robust Italian pairing. The highlight of the menu, though, is undoubtedly the cheese boards. They offer specialized boards featuring cheeses from different regions, paired thoughtfully with appropriate wines. Whether you opt for an Italian or a French cheese board (or sample the local Israeli offering), you’re in for a true tasting experience. If you appreciate good wine and cheese, this is your spot. While the broader menu is better than average, it’s clear the main draw is the combination of the view, the wine, and the cheese boards. And a bonus for some: the restaurant is not kosher and remains open on Shabbat, which is helpful to know depending on your plans. Bottom line: Come for the view, stay for the wine and cheese, and leave with some of the best memories — and photos — Jerusalem has to offer.

Great service, friendly staff, fast food. One of the best views of Jerusalem. The food is great, although not gourmet. The prices are reasonable. Would recommend if visiting Jerusalem

First time and what a good surprise! Food was excellent and tasty. Price was fair. Service was a bit slow. But, the amazing sights of a full moon with Jerusalem lights were a beautiful background to a wonderful and enjoyable evening. Definitely will visit again.

Absolutely wonderful. Really big portions too. Superb staff and really sweet waitresses. The food is really nice. I particular enjoyed their salmon, also their pasta. The rissoto wasn't too special but still nice. For dessert I suggest their tiramisu. I love their complimentary bread with butter and olive spread. I could totally eat an entire basket of it for breakfast. Nothing disappointed at all. The prices are about the same as other restaurants here but the food is fantastic and the view is unparalleled.

Spectacular experience. One of the best views in the city. Such a special view and environment. Food was very good. Tried 3 different salads and all were fresh and light. The carpaccio was flavorful. Had the filet mignon. It was decent. A little overcooked for my taste and they didn’t ask how I wanted it prepared. I was with a large group though, so I didn’t make an issue out of it. The dessert was one of the best I’ve ever had. Some kind of a birds nest dessert play on baklava with ice cream but had cheese in the middle? Unreal! I could have eaten three! A must visit.

The restaurant had a very limited wine selection, unless you take a bottle. The carpaccio was disappointing and not fresh, and it came with lettuce instead of balsamic and olive oil. The only good thing was the cheese plate, which was tasty and satisfying. However, the waiter's suggestions were not helpful at all.

Outstanding experience in Israel! We arrived right before the sunset for a romantic dinner and ordered cocktails and a cheese platter. The service was impeccable, great assortment of cheese, the views were outstanding, and we would absolutely visit again!

Three highlights of this location is the stunning view - I had done issues with getting the food I ordered, but overall a nice place to eat. However, I was a part of a conference/group so I don't know if it was expensive (b/c I didn't pay), but it seemed like a high-end, very expensive location.
