"Water sports abound in Abu Dhabi , especially in its many inland tributaries. One of the more popular kayaking spots is the Mangrove National Park, which emerges in a tangle of roots from the Khor al-Baghal Bay, southeast of Al-Reem Island. Kayaking during the day allows you to see the beautiful herons and flamingos that nest in the park, but Noukhada Adventure Company offers a special twist on the mangrove kayak tour. Once a month, on the evening of the full moon, you can be a part of a guided kayak tour of the pristine lagoon and appreciate the natural beauty of the mangrove trees under the moonlight. The tour is ideal for people over 10 years of age who have previous kayaking experience; it costs about $60 per person."
Good company and guide that cares about the nature. A great experience to just relax in peaceful and beautiful nature on a kayak tour. Recommend early morning departure before it gets too hot if you go in the summer. Check the tides as some paths are not accessible during low tide. Remember to bring a towel and change of clothes as you will get wet sitting in the kayak.

We hired canoes from them for an (early) morning canoeing trip in the magroves. A very nice change from all the sand. The folks were very nice and we did not need to leave a deposit. You will need to be able to pay cash. The mangroves are nice and you can easy enjoy it for 2 hours. There is a place 20 min out where you can get onshore and swim. All in all a very nice experience.

Had a great early morning kayak thru the mangroves ... guide was a happy chatty guide who was patient with our group .
The tide goes out fast in the morning so be sure to ask the best time to paddle if you have beginners with you.
Good restaurants at marina for food afterwards.

Nice tour. We booked in high tide time and it was amazing experience. I recommend this activity to anyone visiting Abu Dhabi and AD residences as well. This place is one of the best places to visit in AD.

Excellent night trip into the Eastern Mangroves. Knowledgeable guide and good quality kayaks. If you do go on this tour, I recommend that you wear something warm as you will get wet, if you want to take photos then take a waterproof camera or sealed/zip lock bag as it is not provided.
Only downside is that the oars do not have rubber stoppers near the paddle so some water does run down your arms and into the kayak.

We took the sunset tour and was fortunate to be with a happy bunch of other kayakers. We learned some new information about mangroves from Joseph. It was both fun and educational for the kids and adults. The staff were very helpful and even offered free water for the guests. Overall, it was a fun experience and a break from the usual hustle and bustle of urban life.

Went there with my GF without any bookings, we sat in a kayak 5 minutes later. Costs for 2 persons: 200 AED (2 Hours, 2 Single Kayaks), so roughly 50€.
Life vests included of course and very friendly staff. Had a great time!
