Nouska

Nouska is a fine-dining Indian restaurant located in City Centre. Seating is limited, but the space is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The menu focuses primarily on North Indian main dishes. It had been on my radar for a while, and I finally tried the Butter Naan, Chilli Garlic Naan, Lamb Rogan Josh, and Masala Chai. Overall, the food was very good. The Lamb Rogan Josh stood out—rich, flavorful, and well cooked. The naans were tasty, though I noticed the Garlic Naan lost its softness fairly quickly and became a bit crispy, which slightly took away from the experience. Portions are on the smaller side for the price, and the menu is definitely on the expensive end, but that’s somewhat expected given the location and fine-dining positioning. No major complaints overall. A good spot if you’re looking for refined, well-executed North Indian dishes in a polished setting.

The food was great me and my colleague went this afternoon to have our lunch. I had a roll with chicken and she had vanilla masala with rice and we paid extra for the nun, They forgot to give us the none and when I told them over the phone, the girl Devika was so sweet. She bought the food to my office which was just opposite to the store plus she also gave me a complimentary rashmalai. It’s such a nice just gesture to be honest

Everything we ordered was very yummy. The Samosa Chaat, butter chicken，panner and garlic naan. So good! We changed our takeaway order to a dine in, and they were really nice accommodating and preparing for us. If you like Indian food, you definitely must eat here. You won't be disappointed. The only complaint is, there's no parking. 😅

Stumbled upon Nouska while walking through Mississauga and I’m so glad I did! The food here is absolutely incredible .. fresh, flavourful, and totally authentic. We tried their chole bhature (hot and fluffy!), bhatti wala naan, and lachha paratha ...all made to perfection. The tandoori chicken tikka, salmon tikka, and paneer tikka were juicy, smoky, and bursting with flavour. Their papdi chaat took me straight back to the streets of India, and the chicken biryani was aromatic and perfectly spiced. The gravies were rich and comforting, and the dessert was the perfect sweet ending.

I tried chhole bhature from this place and it was good. Although, the chhole were more like punjabi chhole which usually are served with amritsari kulcha, however the taste of the chhole was superb. Not really disappointed with bhature because I have had worse, but those were more like flat bread. The best part about the dish was that it was served completely with Achaar, chutney and Mirchi piyaaz along with 1 pop. Most of the restaurants doesn'teven bother to do that. Decent seating area and service. It took 10-15 mins for the meal preparation. The washroom was also clean to use. Overall a great experience from my side.

I just have to give a huge shoutout to this amazing place! It doesn’t even feel like just a restaurant anymore—it’s become my go-to food home. The taste is absolutely jaw-dropping. I had ordered for 15 people, and the quantity was so generous it easily served 18! From starters to the main course, every dish was flawless—the butter chicken, paneer, raita, and salad were all beyond delicious. A very special thanks to the incredibly talented Chef Sanjay and his team for not only delivering such mouthwatering food but also giving me the confidence that it was going to be worth every bit. If you haven’t ordered from here yet, trust me—once you do, you’ll fall in love with the food too!

August 2024 I came on a Friday to have Halwa aloo poori combo, I didn’t realized it is weekend combo, but they were so sweet to offer to make it just for me with gulag jamun. Loved the taste the service and the atmosphere. Feels like they are improving on my every visit. So changing my review from 4 to 5. Going to visit more often now and try papdi chaat again to review it. July 2024: Came here to have tea and mix veg pakora. The care they serve with is very rare in Mississauga I feel. Tea was good and hot, veggie pakoda 10 pieces and I ended up eating 6 in a sitting 😂, I normally would eat 3 to 4. I always feel welcomed and the service is very polite, clean and prompt. May 2024: Quantity is good but taste could be better. Papdi chaat had chole in it and light green chutney instead of the dark green version which reduced the taste. The place is good to hangout in evening and the curry and combo are pretty good

Food is good but the waiting time is too much. Chicken Dum Biryani - Pieces of chicken tasted amazing just the way they should in a biryani, but the rice tasted like Pulao. Dum was missing in Dum Biryani. Suggest to let the Biryani have Dum before serving.
