Nouvo City Hotel

Nouvo City Hotel offers a stay in a strategic location, especially for travelers, at Samsen, close to the heart of old Bangkok. Situated near Khaosan Road, the hotel is well connected, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel reflects an early-2000s style. While the design feels a bit dated, the rooms are clean, well maintained, and comfortable overall. Hot water in the bathroom is reliable. On the downside, the air conditioner is rather noisy and not easy to regulate, which may affect light sleepers. Facilities include a small swimming pool, a spa, and a gym. Breakfast is served buffet-style and is fairly complete, and halal. However, the selection is not particularly memorable. The staff: friendly, polite, and consistently helpful, contributing positively to the overall experience. Basically, Nuovo City Hotel is a good-value option with a great location and attentive service. While some aspects could benefit from modernization, it remains a reliable and comfortable choice for low cost visitors to Bangkok.

Location is perfect, very close to temples and main toristic spots. No noise from the street. Room was spacious and clean and had all the amenities. Aircon good and not noisy, comfortable bed and pillows. Fast check in/check out. Convenient for solo female travelers, the surrounding streets are busy and it doesn't feel strange to walk at night. 711 just behind, also plenty of restaurants. Swimming pools are nice but not very big so sometimes there was no free sunbeds. Also on the rooftop pool there is no sunshade so even though the pool is nice, it's not very comfortable to lay in the full sun. Also the water was cold. Spa with massages and treatmens is great, staff is amazing and they do good massages, also afordable prices compared to the outside salons and better quality. Room price a bit higher considering the pool can't be fully enjoyed.

Great location. Check in was quick and easy. Room was basic, but did the job. Beds were comfy. There's 2 pools, but the 3rd floor seemed better. Weight room could use some tlc as there was only 1 machine, a few barbells and treadmills. Staff was helpful arranging cabs and reservations. We didnt eat onsite as there's dozens of places to watch nearby. For the price, its a good place to stay.

PROS: Location was excellent and service was very good. CONS: Dim outdated rooms. Gym is completely unusable. I paid extra to stay here to have access to a fitness center (open from 8 am to 8 pm, same as the pool), however I did not return to the gym after the first day. There is no AC (crazy in the Thai heat!), and a limited weights section with a max of 30lbs and only one cracked bench. The machines are rusted and cracked in places, unsafe to touch as guests can easily get injured or cut and none of the cardio machines worked except for one treadmill where half the screen was cracked and not operational. Wish I knew this in advance so I could've stayed elsewhere for cheaper or a better gym. The rooms were decent, although I paid extra for a Canal View and my view was partially obstructed on level 3. The lighting was pretty dim - especially in the bathroom - and the flooring was damaged/dirty in some places. The food I ordered through room service was very good and overall service was very pleasant. I only visited the pool on the 3rd floor and that was very good, location was good too as you're right next to several restaurants and a 7-11. Depending on what you prioritize, this could be an excellent stay, but just wasn't to my preference. Please update your photos of the fitness center or update the equipment itself so as to not mislead guests.

We had a great stay at Nuovo City Hotel. The location is excellent—just a short walk to Khaosan Road and right next to a 7/11, which made things very convenient. The morning breakfast was superb with a wide variety of food options that suited everyone in the family. The lobby staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The kids really enjoyed the play area, and the swimming pool was clean and well-maintained.The room was comfortable and nicely kept, though I do wish the toilet door offered a bit more privacy and the TV could have been a smart TV for easier streaming. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

We stayed only for 4 days, and it’s a good base for exploring Bangkok. If you’re looking for a place mainly to sleep, it does the job. However, if you plan to spend more time at the hotel, using the pool and other facilities, I’d look elsewhere. The rooms show some signs of age, although they’re generally clean.|Our first room was problematic – the air conditioning didn’t work. After an attempt to fix it, the staff quickly offered us a new room, which was a nice touch.

We had a very nice stay for 3 nights in this hotel. Very good location near touristic places. The service, breakfast and swimming pool were great. The room was nice too, with airco and decent shower. The only negative thing to say about the rooms is the noisy doors from other guests that wake you up in the middle of the night.

I really enjoyed the stay here. The staff is super friendly and they can help you with everything. Rooms are average in size and clean. The location of the hotel is also very good, being close to khaosan road and other landmarks. The hotel's restaurant has plenty of options for the breakfast so in general i cannot complain. Maybe the only downside is the fact that the rooms don't have smart tvs and you do not get "new" slippers.
