Top Class Hotel Spent 5 days over the Christmas break at this amazing hotel. The staff were fantastic from the moment the taxi arrived at the door including the porters taking in our suitcases and receptionists who checked us in. Check-in was pretty rapid, the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The additional sofas in the room were just what were needed after a long day out in the heat. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, the variety of foods and drink was just incredible from the traditional Thai foods to western food such as waffles and maple syrup. There was also a chef at the egg station available to cook whatever you wanted. The plus point for us was that the food was halal certified. In the evening, the food at the Sara Restaurant is of the highest quality and has meals suitable for all palates. As for location, the hotel is based in the Old City, so many of Bangkok's main tourist attraction are about 30 mins walk away, and the infamous Khao San Road less than 10 minutes walk. Tuk-tuks are readily available on the street corner just outside the hotel if needed. There is a nice gym right next to the roof-top swimming pool as well as a spa with lots of treatments available. The best part of the stay were the staff who were so welcoming and polite throughout, eager to help whenever needed. We came back for a one night stay after visiting Chiang Mai and Phuket, and the level of service was exactly the same. If we go ever go back to Bangkok, I would definitely stay at the same hotel.

Nouvo City Hotel offers a stay in a strategic location, especially for travelers, at Samsen, close to the heart of old Bangkok. Situated near Khaosan Road, the hotel is well connected, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel reflects an early-2000s style. While the design feels a bit dated, the rooms are clean, well maintained, and comfortable overall. Hot water in the bathroom is reliable. On the downside, the air conditioner is rather noisy and not easy to regulate, which may affect light sleepers. Facilities include a small swimming pool, a spa, and a gym. Breakfast is served buffet-style and is fairly complete, and halal. However, the selection is not particularly memorable. The staff: friendly, polite, and consistently helpful, contributing positively to the overall experience. Basically, Nuovo City Hotel is a good-value option with a great location and attentive service. While some aspects could benefit from modernization, it remains a reliable and comfortable choice for low cost visitors to Bangkok.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel has a swimming pool and is located extremely close to major attractions, which saved us a lot of travel time. The restaurant in the same building was excellent, and the included breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were consistently courteous, professional, and very helpful. A dedicated prayer room within the hotel was a thoughtful addition and a wonderful bonus. Overall, it was a very pleasant and convenient stay.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel and loved it! The staff were super friendly and very helpful. ||The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a great view of the city. ||The streets around the hotel have lots of great places to eat. The breakfast was varied and tasty. ||Location was great, just a 5/10 minute walk from the busy khao san road, 30 mins walk from China town, and 20 mins walk to the grand palace. ||The hotel is Muslim, which is why there’s no alcohol on the premise and no bacon at breakfast. Not an issue for us but we did see some other guests cracking open a beer by the pool and they got told off (good!).

They claim it's a 4-star hotel but it's in fact a 3-star category. We had booked superior classic room for 6,500 INR. Room we got at first was small but after some explanation we switched to a little better room. There was absolutely no ventilation, no windows, no view, absolutely nothing . No sockets to charge. There one socket in bathroom, another socket which blocks the light switch making it useless. We ended up charging our phones inside bathroom. There are no taps or shower gun in shower area. If you want to wash your feet, you end up holding your legs in the air below shower looking like a monkey. Food options for vegetarians is absolutely nothing. Only options are bread butter and some veggies. Also, it's a peaceful community managed hotel ( people who know, they know ). It's halal certified. The pool is quite small too. However, the staff were great and supportive

Great place to stay in Bangkok. Location is within walking distance of most popular streets and places to visit. Rooms were also very clean. The free filtered water and complementary bottles were a great touch. The pools were also very nice. Plenty of sun to get at either plus cool water. Incredibly friendly staff. Get the breakfast buffet add on if you stay here - it was delicious each morning with a variety of options including many vegetarian options as well. There is an amazing quiet spot with koi and water running on the rooftop which was lovely with a great view. Spa was also a good price. Well worth the money to stay here - with all this stay provides it is an incredible value. Within 2 feet of a 7-11. And being on the canal is also delightful. Highly recommend!

Great location in a nice part of Bangkok, it is located close to many place to eat and drink. The rooms are clean and tidy the service is very good and room serviced daily. The breakfast is exceptional. The staff have been polite and helpful. The pool is refreshing on a hot day but can get quite busy.

Location is perfect, very close to temples and main toristic spots. No noise from the street. Room was spacious and clean and had all the amenities. Aircon good and not noisy, comfortable bed and pillows. Fast check in/check out. Convenient for solo female travelers, the surrounding streets are busy and it doesn't feel strange to walk at night. 711 just behind, also plenty of restaurants. Swimming pools are nice but not very big so sometimes there was no free sunbeds. Also on the rooftop pool there is no sunshade so even though the pool is nice, it's not very comfortable to lay in the full sun. Also the water was cold. Spa with massages and treatmens is great, staff is amazing and they do good massages, also afordable prices compared to the outside salons and better quality. Room price a bit higher considering the pool can't be fully enjoyed.
