Novel Hotel City Center

I was sceptical when reading these reviews but oirnsty has been fantastic! our room large & clean with a modern bathroom and comfy bed. breakfast has a fantastic variety of food to suit everyone’s needs. inside the hotel there is a night club, sports bar, barbers, gym & pool! location is about 10 min from beach. the pool area doesnt get much sun however the pool is heated! staff are absolutely fantastic too! 10/10 recommend

We stayed at Novel Hotel, Abu Dhabi for one night only, and our overall experience was quite strange and disappointing. To begin with, there is no self-parking available. The only option is valet parking, where the staff takes your car and parks it elsewhere. This wasn’t very convenient for us and something guests should be clearly informed about in advance. The check-in process was smooth, and I must say the staff were polite, helpful, and accommodating. Our booking showed 2 adults, and the 2 kids were missing—possibly a mistake from my end while booking. However, the staff handled this very kindly and mentioned that they had upgraded our room, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the room itself (Room 909, if I remember correctly) was a big letdown. The furniture was damaged, and the washroom had water leakage from multiple places. To make matters worse, the hand spray for the water closet was installed on the left side, which felt like a basic installation error and very inconvenient. We were extremely exhausted from our trip, so we didn’t have the energy to request a room change or escalate the issues. We stayed the night and checked out early the next morning, relieved that we wouldn’t be returning. I genuinely hope that other rooms are better maintained, because if this room is the standard, then unfortunately this hotel would be a big no for us.

Excellent and comfortable hotel. During my entire stay, I didn’t experience any inconvenience. At first, I was given a room on a smoking floor, but I soon noticed a strong smell of tobacco in the room. I went to the reception, and the wonderful lady Cristina immediately moved me to a non-smoking floor without any questions. Thank you very much!

My stay at this hotel was decent overall, with a mix of positives and areas that could use improvement. Unfortunately, No Free Parking, you need to pay for it either valet or public which demands time for available space. Anyways, the location was convenient and made it easy to get around, a walking distance park (Capital Park) and supermarkets. The staff were generally friendly and willing to help when needed. The room itself was clean and comfortable with high speed internet. Breakfast was good. Furthermore, while the basics were covered, a few details kept the experience from being truly great. Overall, this hotel delivered a solid stay, nothing exceptional, but nothing terrible either. For now, it’s a reliable mid-range option for a short visit.

We’ve stayed at Novel City Center at least three times now, and it consistently delivers a friendly and welcoming experience. The staff are always very kind and helpful. The hotel itself isn’t brand new, and you can tell it has seen some wear, but it’s clean and comfortable. During our most recent stay, the pool area was under renovation, so that didn’t impact the experience this time. The breakfast is decent — it’s fine overall, but not particularly exciting or exceptional. The location is very convenient. There’s a large shopping mall nearby, along with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within easy walking distance. The beach is about a 30-minute walk or roughly 10 minutes by taxi. There’s also an airport bus stop close to the hotel, though we found that taking a taxi is generally more comfortable and convenient. Overall, this hotel offers solid value, great service, and a practical location — ideal if you plan to explore the city or just want a reliable place to return to.

The hotel is very comfortable and pleasant. It's strategically located. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The large mosque is very close to the hotel. The staff and waiters were all very kind and friendly. The food was excellent and varied. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. Thank you, Mr. Farouk (Bangla) and others team, the cleaning staff member I often meet on the 20th floor. He's also quite fluent in Malay. He's very friendly and welcoming. This hotel is highly recommended. The room is spacious and has a bathtub. The room is clean and tidy.

--- We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Novel Hotel City Center. The location is perfect, everything is close by and very convenient. The staff made my stay even better — Adeel was incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The housekeeping by Nazeem was excellent; my room was always spotless, fresh, and well taken care of throughout my stay. Overall, great service, comfortable rooms, and a very welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Novel Hotel City Center to anyone visiting Abu Dhabi.

Since one month I am staying here , the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient," or "the room was spotless with crisp bed linens‘’ Exceptional Service by Renjith – Highly Appreciated!” I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and a big part of that experience was thanks to Renjith from housekeeping. He was extremely polite, hardworking, and attentive to details. He made sure the room was perfectly cleaned and well-organized.
