Well... first I have to say that I gave three points because I learned to lower my expectations in Sibiria (it was my first time there). Normally this hotel is definitely not the standard I would like to stay in. ||Starting with the positive things: The room itself was clean and the house keeping was good. The breakfast was ok and the location is good. There is a cash machine in the lobby so you do not need a bank. It worked very well. The WiFi is very good!||Now the negative things (and as I already said, maybe these things are normal in Sibiria but for me it was quite a challenge): We arrived after a over-night flight early at 6. Unfortunately there was no hot water the whole day, so the shower was like being covered by an avalange... the rooms are so damned OLD FASHIONED.. it was like traveling with a time machine back to the soviet times... beds are unacceptable small and the room size is made for midgets. Nearly no one of the staff could speak English. Luckily my colleague spoke Russian and could help me out.||Price: We came there during a small exhibition and the prices were astronomical high... We paid nearly 300 EUR per night - for the same rate i stayed at the Hilton in London..... However as hotels are limited in that region you have only limited choice.. If I ever will come back, I definitely will look for alternatives!

Hotel right in the middle of the Centre of Novokuznetsk. Both lobby and check-in procedures take you back to Soviet times, as are partially the rooms and the breakfast service. My room was spacious, but had its little crazy announcements like what to use the towels for, etc. Beds are not great. Needs a complete revamp to Western standards, since location is good !

Great restaurant nearby A white powder on the walls. Not sure what it was. Rooms were a little too small. No kitchen. No microwave.

The Hotel is actually pretty good by soviet standards, for example the risers on the stairs are more or less the same height.||The rooms are also pretty good with modern fitments and good levels of sound insulation so I was able to get a good nights sleep.||Breakfast was served in a tiny room which I think was on the third floor and was initially difficult to find. The breakfast menu is a bit strange by European standards and the only thing that I seemed to be able to order resembled minced beef, it was very tasty but I would normally eat this sort of thing at night rather than first thing in the morning.||||There are some things you need be aware of though as follows: -||||On arrival at the hotel your passport will be taken from you and held for at least a day whilst they register you with the local police. However if you venture out without your passport you might be arrested.||||If you go to the bar and try the snacks be aware that they are tiny dried fishes complete with bones.||||My transfer flight from Moscow used a soviet designed plane which looked like a Lockheed TriStar from the 70s others appear to have bomb bays as they are dual purpose!
