Novotel Bern Expo

Really nice stay here over new year 2026 The staff were incredibly nice, very friendly and the hotel has a nice atmosphere. Breakfast is very good plenty of choice. Tram 9 is directly outside so easy to hop on & off to all stops to Bern including Christmas markets, lots to explore and very safe. Would highly recommended this hotel.

had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my visit, always making me feel welcome. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and spacious — much larger than I expected. I also appreciated how quiet the location was, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Despite being peaceful, it’s still very convenient to get around with public transportation nearby. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great service.

I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Bern Expo. The reception staff were very welcoming, and the breakfast was enjoyable. The hotel has easy access to Bern station via tram, with the tram stop just a short walk away. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage after checkout until our departure, which was very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for families.

The stay was more than mediocre. Apart from a charming lady at reception, the staff were not trained in the hotel industry. The restaurant was very average, the breakfasts left much to be desired and expensive, the restaurant staff were truly unprofessional. As for the rooms, they were not cleaned properly; the beds were not made every day, and there was no supervision in sight. This stay was one of the most disastrous I have ever experienced in a hotel. (The apologies made by AI will not change anything in my opinion.)

Nice design, clean room, very friendly staffs. Well located and easy to reach. Nothing to say more. We were there for 2 nights and easily to explore Bern for 1 day. The public transportation just in front of the hotel that can bring you to the centrum. For sure next time we will back .

The price for hotel is in level. Would evaluate as a normal one for such hotel. But the lack of space in their parking is the problem, especially if it is raining outside and when you have to park your car just on the opposite side of the street. Nevertheless it is not the issue, we could walk. But the bar in the lobby it is awkward. Having Macallan ordered, but they bring you some other cheap whiskey, it is a joke. I would leave it to the point that the hotel is in level of economy ones.

Very comfy stay, great connecting rooms for families. Good facilities, well connected. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Kids really enjoyed their stay starting with the gifted toy

This Novotel is so neglected. No one was at the reception to greet us when we arrived, let alone check us in. After a long 5 minutes, the guy from the bar came over to help. Once when we called the reception and housekeeping three times, no one picked up the phone. Breakfast was a shame for a 4-star Swiss hotel, and also compared to the Novotels I've been to in London ExCel, Paris CDG and Brussels Airport.
