Novotel Birmingham Airport

I had a very pleasant stay at Novotel Birmingham. Airport hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful from start to finish, which really made a difference to the experience. The bar/restaurant offer a great selection of food, with plenty of choice and good quality. The rooms were clean and comfortable; however, some of the ceilings and décor feel a little dated and could benefit from an update. That said, the cleanliness and service more than made up for it. A very special shout-out to Mukesh, who was outstanding. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and provided excellent customer service. Truly a five-star staff member who represents the hotel beautifully. Overall, a lovely stay thanks to the amazing team. The staff are the real stars here.

Spent 1 night here for a trade show in the NEC. Check in was easy and as i was early they took my bag so i was able to head off to the show. Had food in the restaurant which was lovely and received great service from Yashi. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good size TV. Location was perfect for my needs. Had a good experience and would stay again

Had a really nice meal at the hotel restaurant and just wanted to mention our server, Mukesh. He was friendly from the start and made us feel really welcome. Service was spot on.., attentive without hovering, and everything came out smoothly.

So so impressed with the whole package of staying at this Hotel. Arrived by train and the mono air rail. Very easy and stress free. You only have to cross 1 road, very slow traffic with zebra crossing ro the hotel entrance. Check-in was quick and easy, the rooms are clean and comfortable with a big TV. Service very often makes a good stay and Gourov was just the best. Polite, efficient and knowledgeable on the food and drink. I thought the meals were reasonably proced for the location. I'm very full after fish and chips and husband loved the King Prawn noodle dish. I would 100% stay in this hotel next time i fly .

The staff are welcoming, professional, and always ready to help, making the overall experience feel warm and smooth. While the lifts are a bit small and can lead to short wait times during busy hours, everything else is well-organized and efficient. It’s a reliable, comfortable hotel with all the essential amenities, perfect for a quick layover or a short stay in Birmingham.

Check in very quick and welcoming. Room fabulous very spacious and comfortable. Had a couple of drinks at the bar all staff very polite and efficient. Both restaurant and bar snacks available. Mukesh and the team lovely and professional. Would definitely recommend stopping at the Novotel @ Birmingham airport to make the best of your trip 😊

Perfect location for departure from Birmingham Airport. Clean rooms with all you need for overnight stop before you fly. As for the restaurant, not the limited choice of meals we saw on the internet, the quality is first class, go for the curry. What really makes the restaurant excellent are the waiters. They could easily work in a five star hotel. Abdullah was friendly, attentive and very professional, thank you Abdullah. Not sure if hospitality is your long term plans but you could work front of house in any five star location. Lovely start to our luxury holiday.

Excellent hotel We usually book at the Ibis but was disappointed with the service. This hotel has been a great improvement from the point we entered. Receptionist Anya was professional and courteous. We had booked dinner and were served by Mukesh and Andreas who had been amazing. These guys were amazing and deserve all the praise.

Staying the night on the spur of the moment making the very best of a 15 hr night lay over well flying home.

This hotel is conveniently located on the Birmingham International Airport property. You can walk directly from the Terminal to the front door of the hotel without the need of a tram, a moving sidewalk, or a shuttle. Thus, if you miss your flight while staying here it truly is your fault. The hotel lobby is luxurious which raises questions about the affordability of the rooms. I captured a very respectable rate which included breakfast. The hotel's restaurant provided excellent food quickly in a very comfortable and elegant setting. I almost forgot that I was in Birmingham. Almost. The room was very nice with everything and every amenity that I would expect from a Novotel.

I have only stayed at this hotel once and it was an overnight for an early morning flight. The check-in process was easy as you have the option to cue for the human behind the desk or the automated service, as there was a long cue I went automated and it was painless, compared to some I have tried. The room whilst not the biggest was well appointed and served its purpose very well. The bar area was spacious and had many areas to sit yourself and relax. They also had a couple of TV's dotted around to entertain. The restaurant area looked good however I cannot comment as I did not use the service. The bar had a full range of spirits and beers which is always welcome. As I had not charged anything to my room the check out process was a smooth as checking in, how it should be in every hotel! The hotel staff get a big thumbs up from me. My flight was at silly o'clock in the morning so bleary eyed me forgot an important item in my room which I only discovered was missing when I was going through security in the airport!!!! So I called the hotel and they found my item and kept it until I returned the following week to collect it. Better than some places when I have left stuff and they have told me 'we cannot find it' a likely story I feel, anyway back to the Novotel staff they get a high recommendation from me and I would certainly use the hotel as it's location to the airport is superb if you have to catch a silly o'clock flight ;0)

Novotel is conveniently located directly across from the Birmingham International Airport and within a shuttle(tram) ride to the Train Station and National Exhibition Center (NEC). The hotel although it appears nice when checking in, it has a restaurant, and bar in the lobby. The room was OK size, separate loo room and separate room with tub/shower and sink. It had a wet bar in the room, flat screen TV, internet, wireless (15.00 pounds per day). Good: Bed was comfortable, you could not hear any activity from the airport, but could hear someone next door very easily in the morning. The room was a bit dirty for my taste, looked like they hadn't vaccumed the floor in a week, and there might have been a toe nail on the floor, but I didn't get close enough to do forensics or try to determine the origin of the suspected toe nail. I decided to leave a day early and head to Oxford, but I have to say it is NOT worth the 270 pounds per night (rack rate)....At or under 125 pounds might make it worth it... Ask them to vaccum the floor before arriving, that might save you an hour trying to conduct a CSI investigation on the contents left behind from the other guest!!

I went to meet my parents here for a meal before they had an early morning flight. First impression was very impressive...before I'd sat down comfortably in the foyer someone had attentively come over and taken my drinks order. We had a drink in the bar but the table was left dirty with the previous occupants dirty plates and glasses. We then went to eat in the restaurant. Nice atmosphere, not too loud and we sat on the one of the big round tables at the back. The seats were nice and comfy and again the staff were attentive. The menu didn't have a great selective and it was all fairly generic, burgers, fish and chips etc I had and the goats cheese salad to start which was nice and warm but a little shy of cheese. To be honest I think the food is fairly over priced but then, what do you expect at an airport hotel?! It was a nice experience made better by the company but I wouldn't rush back for any reason.
