Novotel Buenos Aires

Stayed at the novotel for a full week, mostly for business and the weekend with my wife for exploring. The hotel is nice, most of the staff was amazing specially Fernando that help me have a outstanding stay. Got a nice upgrade to a suite in 12nd floor with nice views. The hotel gets really crowded with cruise guests cominimg and going. Highly recommend that management get more staff during peak hours. Would be nice to have sparkling water at the rooms.

A modern hotel in a great central location, just a short walk from the Obelisk. The rooms are of a good standard and well equipped, with tea and coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, and a safe. There are plenty of light switches in the room, which take a little time to figure out. Offering a buffet style breakfast. One of the highlights is the excellent outdoor area, featuring a pleasant pool that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

The staff were welcoming and efficient, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and practical, exactly what you expect for a city stay. The room was clean, well organized, and functional, making it easy to relax after a long day. The only issue during my stay was the shower. The water pressure and temperature were inconsistent, and it was difficult to regulate. At times the water was boiling hot, and it was not possible to properly adjust it by adding cold water, which made showering uncomfortable. Aside from that, the experience was positive and the hotel offers good value overall.

I ended up spending the night of February 19 at the airport due to the general strike in Argentina, which caused all flights to be cancelled. I was told the situation would last at least 24 hours, so I booked a room at Novotel Buenos Aires early that morning. When I arrived very early, Fernando was incredibly understanding and helpful and allowed me to check in early, which made a huge difference after such a long and stressful night. I recommend signing up for their membership to get access to early check-in and late check-out. The location is excellent, and for the price, it was a very good value. I would definitely stay here again.

Although the location is great, the rooms at this property need some renovation. It is not about just replacing the carpet, but the walls, bathrooms and furniture need to be renovated. I had to ask for a different room since the first one had a cigarette smell. The second room has black mold in the wall that separates the shower from the bedroom. The personnel was polite and all the time.

The hotel is very well located at a 5 minutes from the obelisk and walking to distance to many places like Teatro Colon and San Telmo. The rooms also, although small, they are newly furnished with a modern style. I requested my room to be upgraded as an Accor platinum member but I was told the hotel was full. It was a disappointment since even if full, other accor hotels made efforts to upgrade my room register ming my request and calling me to change to a better room during my stay. The restaurant also offers delicious meals which I liked. The breakfast however was not up to my expectations. No cappuccino machine and the omelette was not that good. There weren’t also many choices of vegetables (no carrots, no tomatoes…etc.)|The staff are friendly professional, and very helpful. The only serious issues I encountered was the hygiene. The first night I found hair on the towels as well on the bed. The next days I found living bugs in the cookies box I was offered as Elite member gift. That was shocking. And luckily I checked the box before eating. I believe that was a serious issue and absolutely not acceptable. Especially given the fact I paid double to regular fee (the hotel was fully booked so the remaining rooms were at double rate). If I see such issues in Novotel then what is the point of me staying in brand hotels as these things are regular in cheap hotels.

We stayed here on and off while we traveled to and from El Calafate, El Chalten and Patagonia back to Buenos Aires. The rooms are very convenient and comfortable. The hotel is in the middle of town, and walkable.distance to the Oblisque, May Plaza and other tourist areas of interest. There are theaters nearby, shopping spots, and markets like Mercado San Telmo where you can find food and touristy items.

The hotel itself is great, consistent with the quality of most Novotels. However, if you want some peace and quiet at night, staying near Obelisk in microcentro might not be for you. Great for a personal vacation, but maybe not if you're on business and need to wake up early every morning.

I attended a private event. The Event services, catering, AV and the location was great. It's centrally located near the financial district of Buenos Aires.

i was always wondering how elephants b.o. smells like and finally got my answer in my last two visits to this hotel. still wondering how it managed to get through the door but from the room smell it was clear it managed to do it. i complained at the front desk in both occasions but got the here comes the overly sensitive gringo vibe which usually starts with an -i completely understand, followed by a slight rolling of eyes. this hotel used to be nice right when it was opened and before they let elephants stay there but it seems that since not much was done to keep up with the wear and tear of the wild. also corrientes avenue is a little bit more, how to say it, jungle than it use to be, which would explain the change in the nature of the patrons of the hotel. personal note: i have nothing against elephants, some of my best friends are elephants.

From the moment I came trough the door, i felt very well taken care of! Everyone in the front desk is very attentive and helpful. The restaurant has delicious food and very complete breakfast. Also, the pool is amazing!
