Novotel Jakarta Gajah Mada

This hotel is so comfortable! We decided to go to Jakarta for 3 days trip and wish we had stayed longer. Loved the location, was walking distance to local food and things to do. The staff here was incredibly sweet and helpful. The room was clean. The pool was clean, quiet, and enjoyable. But the thing is the MRT project near hotel is very noisy and caused such traffic.

This is the kind of hotel that I suggest people stay at, classic Jakarta Chinese feel. The service was great and the rooms were comfortable and clean. AC comfort cold and you can relax by showering with the hot water. Thank you for the housekeeping, reception and the whole team at Novotel.|The breakfast were to notch especially the local food on buffet and the sambal. Really enjoyed the 24/7 night life in Jakarta old town as well mix with China town and abundant of street foods.||Even then, the hotel was helpful in directing us where to go just simply ask the staff they gladly will assist you with smile and fast! But this would have made our whole stay pretty much flawless. |The MRT project made the street in front of the hotel dense and busy and its very unfortunate, I’ll say the parking lot little bit narrow. Otherwise I do highly recommend this place for families or couples who want an oasis amidst the craziness of Jakarta Old Town.

Absolutely terrible service. When I checked in, there was no toothbrush kit or hand soap in my room — basic things that any decent hotel should provide. I asked the front desk, and the receptionist said someone would bring them to me. Nobody came for more than an hour. I called again, waited another 30 minutes — still nothing. When someone finally showed up (empty-handed!), he just walked to the storage room on the same floor to get them in one minute. So basically, they ignored my request for 1.5 hours even though the items were right there! This is ridiculous and totally unacceptable. Such poor service and lack of responsibility from the staff. Definitely not recommended.

Lovely hotel in great location for sightseeing around oldtown area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a dessert at the restaurant which was delish! Pool area was nice and clean, they also have gym with various equipment. Room was spacious and clean.

A very nice aesthetic vintage staycation place in the heart of Glodok area. Comfortable and spacious room, nice pool and sauna & steam facilities. I stayed at Novotel Gajah Mada a few times, and It's hands down beautiful. The rooms, atmosphere, and the welcome amenities were great, but what I loved the most was how well all the staff treated me. They're very professional, and always smiling. Honorable mention for the breakfast and the room service food is absolutely tasty.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The first thing I noticed was the exceptional cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was also very clean, with no signs of crust or stubborn stains. They also provided complete and quality toiletries. In addition, the public areas of the hotel, such as the lobby and breakfast area, were also kept clean. I was very impressed with the hotel's commitment to cleanliness and I will definitely be back again.

yes bcs its nearby to JIS. i came here for a concert. And i found that this hotel is nearby to the stadium. Received excellence services from the fnb staff Ms. Yofita. the food was so good. Have many choices and the price is quite affordable.
