Novotel Monte Carlo

Visited your hotel first time in December normally I stay at Monte Carlo beach but this was closed so decided to stay closer to the centre. I can honestly say or stay was perfect. My mother was visiting for the first time she loved it so I decided in August to go back to your hotel and it was perfect all the staff was so helpful friendly food was lovely. We did eat out a lot for breakfast and snacks were tasty I will be booking again for December. It’s central to everywhere. I couldn’t fault it. I would recommend this place. They even give us a late checkout as our flight was late. Much appreciated see you in December.🩷

This is a good (and good value hotel), we go there repeatedly. Staff is very friendly, the bar is very pleasant and they have wonderful tea. Breakfast is superb. Rooms are clean, well decorated and functional. You cannot beat location (on that price range), being close from train station and casino. Just 2 small points to mention: - Family room is normal room with sofa bed, which opened gives a comfortable 2 persons bed, but does not leave much space in the room to walk around. - Swimming pool and pool bar could be more pleasant is regularly serviced to remove towels and glasses on tables. Again, most pleasant hotel.

Good location but basic property. I get it that it’s Monaco but for the price… they need to do better! Carpet is worn, paper cups for coffee in rooms and they melt with your coffee for easy spills along with cheap powdered creamer and low grade coffee. Seems like staff is inexperienced. We came to the hotel after our cruise ship docked around 10. They did hold our luggage but I ask about if upgrades were available due to status and they said maybe. 2 other rooms in our group checked in mid afternoon but when we checked in, they acted like they knew nothing about my request. Staff seemed inexperienced and offered to give me a higher level room but only if I paid for it. Nothing complimentary! We were put on a lower floor even after all that! Carpets were stained, floors felt gritty and amenities were very basic. No makeup mirror, no conditioner, tired looking towels. For this price (compared to London and Paris) very basic, old and not like other properties we’ve stayed in Monaco in the past!

Stayed for a week for work. I was kindly upgraded to an executive room on a high floor which gave great views of the sea and the Rocher (despite the tower being built in front of the hotel). Friendly and courteous staff. Having stayed in various mid-range Accor properties for various work trips, I can say this one does not conform to the image of a standard Novotel - this one is a class above - exceptionally clean, modern, nicer than expected amenities. The rooms are very comfortable, well sound proofed, and with quiet and very effective air conditioning. I didn’t have time to enjoy the pool facilities but these looked great. Great location not far from Monaco Monte Carlo train station. 5-10 mins walk to the casino / carré d’or. Buses from Roqueville station right outside the hotel will take you anywhere in the region if you don’t want to walk. Overall, a stay that exceeded expectations and I hope to return!

The staff were fabulous. The property was lovely and the pool was amazing. Fantastic breakfast variety. |Restaurant meal was tasty, small and expensive. |The room let Novotel monte carlo down. The bed was too firm and the pillows, one being a ridiculous shape and the other had hardly any filling. The worst part was having paper cups in our room. No glasses, no cup and saucer, no teaspoon. This brought it down to a 3 star... or less.

Our recent 2 night stay at the Novotel Monte Carlo.||The hotel's location is highly commendable, offering exceptional convenience. It is situated just 5 minutes walk from the Train Station and 10 mins walk to the famed Monte Carlo Casino.||The accommodation provided a modern room equipped with basic amenities. Water dispenser is available in the lobby area and Complimentary broadband internet access was available, offering satisfactory speeds for general use.||The reception who registered me in the morning said that my arrival time was early but I could leave my luggage with them. He informed me he will prioritize my check in and when I ask how do you let me know when the room is ready, only to be told I have to check personally at the reception. In the day and age of the advent technology, I wasn't sure why the hotel cannot use a more effective way to communicate such as via WhatsApp, Email etc. it does not cost the hotel anything.||The sun loungers by the pool was limited. ||In summary, the stay was ok especially the hardware part but the software needs to be further enhanced.||

I was impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The restaurant / bar food and drinks are incredible with a great variety. Overall, the hotel is pretty well located and it surely contributed to our fabulous journey in Monaco.

If you are looking for a good value for money hotel in Monaco this is surely it! Friendly staff, clean, decent breakfast & great pool area with lifeguard. The pool is unheated but honestly once you are in it’s perfect! Didn’t get time to check out the spa but did go to the roof top terrace. Weather was great and it’s a perfect spot.
