Novotel Samator East Surabaya Hotel

Stayed here for my vacations with family. Had a wonderful time. Hotel room is clean. Staff are great and helpful. Welcome us with a welcome drinks upon checking in. ||Mr Rizal from the concierge always welcoming and assisting us through out our stay here. ||Will definitely come back here again given the opportunity.

My stay at Novotel Samator Surabaya Timur was truly pleasant and exceeded expectations. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, enhanced by the exceptionally warm and courteous service provided by Andrew, which created a welcoming first impression. The room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, offering a calm atmosphere that ensured a restful stay.||The hotel facilities—including the restaurant, lobby, and swimming pool—were well maintained and presented a modern yet inviting ambiance. Breakfast offered a wide selection of quality dishes, and the service team demonstrated excellent attentiveness throughout.||Overall, Novotel Samator delivers outstanding comfort, professional hospitality, and exceptional value. Room was great and spacious, got upgraded to executive. Bar lounge is super, and the executive lounge is very spacious. Gym facility look good but havent got the chance to use it. Definitely will come back here when im in surabaya

My recent stay at Novotel Samator Surabaya Timur was a fantastic experience—exactly what you’d expect from an upscale international hotel with a local touch. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this hotel delivers top-notch comfort, service, and convenience. The room was spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I appreciated the modern design, complete with a good working desk, large TV, and a luxurious bathroom with a rain shower. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully arranged. The service throughout my stay was outstanding. From the front desk to housekeeping and the restaurant staff, everyone was polite, efficient, and always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was generous with a wide variety of local and international dishes. The quality was consistently high, and the atmosphere in the dining area was relaxing and clean. Their freshly brewed coffee and local delicacies were a great way to start the day. Facilities were also a highlight—the gym is well-equipped, the pool is clean and inviting, and the spa offers a great range of treatments. The hotel also offers excellent meeting rooms for business events. Located in East Surabaya, it’s perfect for those needing access to the industrial area or wanting a quieter alternative to the city center. It’s still within easy reach of malls, restaurants, and key landmarks. Overall, Novotel Samator Surabaya Timur lives up to the Novotel standard—modern, professional, and comfortable. I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a quality stay in Surabaya.

I am really disappointed with Novotel Samator for the service gaps. It started even before we checked in. I am currently in Surabaya to attend my cousin’s wedding and staying in room 1005. 1) I booked the Superior Suite which came with 1 King bed, and inspite of informing the hotel in advance that we needed 2 single beds as I was traveling with my mother, it was only nearer to the date of travel, that I had decided to check with the hotel, and was told that type of room only came with king bed and I had to order an additional collapsible bed in the room for my mother. 2) we were given an email notice that the room booking had been Confirmed and Paid for but when my cousin, the bridal couple booked their rooms and coordinated their wedding reception there, Novotel debited my cousin’s credit card for MY room without informing me, hence causing a big confusion within the family during check-in. 3) At breakfast, I found a fly in my coffee, and realised their coffee machine perhaps had not been cleaned. When i informed the waiter, he told me he would call for his Manager. But when the manager arrived at my table to talk to me, he was clearly not informed about the issue, and I had to explain that the level of Cleanliness at the restaurant is dismal because I found a fly in my coffee. 4) I had to remind the reception to contact housekeeping to clean my room twice, when I returned to the room at 1pm or so after shopping, and realised the room had not been cleaned. I am just so disappointed that as an Accor Gold Member, accustomed to the level of service in hotels worldwide that guarantees a level of quality and standards, Novotel Samator has completely disappointed customers like myself and in fact, I have lost trust now in the Novotel brand.

Location a bit far off from the main city. Staffs were relatively nice. We didn’t use any of the hotel facilities so no comments on that. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Strategic area for business, good Services, room & ambiences are really comfy. The FnB is really good taste. I think all business people will|Love this Hotel very much.

The place is very comfortable to stay, the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, the location is strategic in east surabaya, it can be a choice to stay if you go to Surabaya.
