Novotel Semarang

We held an annual national event from the Perpusnas, we chose this hotel because it was indeed the center in the capital of Central Java province. The hotel looks like an old building. But it's perfect for holding a big event here. Because this hotel has several meeting rooms. The service is very good, all friendly staff always greet and smile. I thank Mbak Septi as a sales marketing for handling us. Our Pax is quite large 43 pax and we booked a fullboard meeting for five days. June 3-7, 2024, very suitable for meeting events. We are in the merbabu room. The breakfast is quite complete, the lunch and dinner are okay. But I don't have comb amenities in my room. I have to ask him to the receptionist. So far okay. I trust with Accor group. Excellent service and treatment. good job👍

Old hotel but well maintained. Strategic location near to Paragon Mall. The staff are quick to respond, kind and helpful. Only the coffee from the room service is more expensive than starbucks but the portion and taste is not worth it.

Very convenient location to Kota Lama and a shopping mall opposite here. Rooms are in need of a refresh since it is quite old but is still a comfortable stay. Very friendly and professional hotel employees. Will revisit if I'm staying in Semarang in the future.

A lovely stay with family! Clean and nice room, nice selection of food for breakfast, very friendly staffs especially Mas Risti who’s in charge at the swimming pool 🤍 offering to lend the kids goggles and floats, helping with the towels and ashtrays and talkative. Will come back for sure!

You know what you get!! When you've no time to look for a hotel, Novotel will give your expectations. Everywhere globally has been standardized, never disappoint.

I booked a superior room. There’s nothing superior in the room which is very stained, surfaces are striped and seen best days. Bathroom is not convenient, tabs and toilet seat very bad. There’s an adjustment knob in air-conditioning but still only “on/off” in practice. The worst thing for me is the tobacco smell. This should be non-smoking room and floor but there’s a |musty smell all time and also coming from elsewhere.||Sad to say but this hotel may have been okay 20 years ago. Many things are not in shape. Perhaps some public areas are okay but that’s enough if your room is a very bad one. Good things are the gym and pool area.

Currently stayed here for the second two week period when working in Semarang region. Hotel has friendly staff, spacious rooms, swimming pool, Bintang (😎) and good meals. Will stay here again in the upcoming periods.
