Novotel Suva Lami Bay

I checked in last weekend for 3 nights and my overall experience was…’not very impressed’ 1) room price did not match room presentation particularly the stained bed & bath linens. 2) toilet seat needs replacing. 3) staff waking me up early to do an Audit? 4) Front office staff were generally helpful esp for taxi calls.

I felt very satisfied with this resort. The staff were AMAZING!, the food was so delicious, the little shop had quite the variety. I stayed at the Novotel for 4 nights and did not even need to go any where and I didn't want leave. I sat by the beautiful poolside for most of they day. Before going out for a couple of hours, in the friendly, nice taxis that the Resort had called for us. I went to other hotel and was so happy to be back at the Novotel. The rooms where cleaned daily and they had lovely views and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this resort to stay if you are visiting Suva/ Coral coast area. I rate this hotel a 5 Star!

Restaurant is well staffed and has a very friendly atmosphere. The staff take a personal interest in making sure you are taken care of. Great setting, food is good, worth a visit. Business center is good, facilities are also fair.|Price is very competitive for Suva

Was at Novotel a few days ago and I did have a pleasant stay with some hiccups. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. The hotel has many wonderful aspects that make it a great choice for a getaway. First and foremost, the staff were absolutely lovely, especially the reception team. They were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made my stay feel comfortable and stress-free. The room was fantastic—spacious, clean, and with a stunning seaside view that I thoroughly enjoyed. The pool area was another highlight, providing a relaxing atmosphere to unwind and soak up some sun. However, there were a couple of areas where my experience fell short, leading me to give a 3-star rating instead of higher. Firstly, the breakfast buffet options were limited. While the quality was decent, I felt there could have been more variety, especially for a hotel of this standard. Secondly, my dining experience at the hotel restaurant was mixed. Their pizza was excellent and definitely a highlight of the menu. However, on my last night I decided to try their butter chicken, and it was a major letdown. The dish arrived with no gravy but rather OIL! I mean, the chicken was drowning in. Oil (picture and video below!) this was far from what I expected. Also, another disappointing factor which I found ridiculous was giving me a dip of Mayonnaise with an INDIAN order, even thought the menu said I would get a mint Raita, so this disgusted me even more and made me lose my appetite. I took pictures and videos (number 15,16 and 17 below) to document the issue and brought it to the attention of my server. While they promptly replaced it with a pizza (which was delicious), the inconvenience of waiting, especially since I was trying to sleep early, was frustrating. Despite these hiccups, I still had a good experience overall. The positives, like the lovely staff, the beautiful room, and the pool, outweighed the negatives, but there’s definitely room for improvement in their dining options. I would recommend Novotel for a relaxing stay but suggest being selective with your dining choices.

This is a good place to stay out of Suva. The rooms are fine and ours looked out over water. The staff are all helpful and the restaurant food was good and not too expensive (unlike much of Fiji). Taxis are easy to get hold of to get into Suva though the morning rush hour is to be avoided.

We always have a fabulous stay at Novotel Suva - it feels like a home away from home. The breakfast offering has been upgraded in the past few months and has a delicious spread as well as some of the best barista coffees in Fiji. The location is perfect - a quick drive into Suva but just far enough to escape the busy city feeling. Beautiful sunsets and beautiful staff! We’ll be back. Vinaka vakalevu

My husband and I quiet enjoyed our stay . We usually book Novotel when ever I am in town. My husband loves the buffet breakfast and we were greeted by the manager on duty - Ms Devi ? I hope I got her name right - she was lovely and on check in we received our welcome platter in the room - as members got upgraded and received the personal hand written welcome letter was a really nice touch and heartwarming to read after such a hectic flight and long drive .. the ladies at the bar were also lovely and welcoming . Thank you for a beautiful stay .
