Novotel Thalassa Le Touquet

A lovely place to recharge and relax. The hotel is right on the beach with a beautiful view from the restaurant. The breakfast was excellent, and dinner was a real highlight — I don’t usually enjoy fish dishes, but the ones here were absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying.|There’s a nice swimming pool, though unfortunately, we couldn’t use it as we didn’t bring swimsuits and the shop was closed on Sunday evening. Our room for two adults and one child was a bit small, but clean, comfortable, and well maintained.|Parking costs €10 per night. I also really liked the eco-friendly touch — they give you a reusable bottle that you can refill for free during your stay. A peaceful spot for a quiet rest. We’ll definitely return!

First off, I am an Accor Gold customer. I love their hotels as they offer a consistently good product. This Novotel did not meet that standard, certainly not that of a 4 star hotel. At check-in, the host charged us for the parking but did not give any information on how to use the gate to enter or leave. We had to figure it out ourselves the next day when another host was kind enough to help us. That other host was also surprised to learn that we didn't get the Thalassa water bottles that every other guest received on check-in. We had just gotten in from a 12 hour flight, and hour train ride from Reims, and a 2.5 hour car trip. It was 11pm and I was eager to take a shower. There was zero soap in the shower soap bottle and zero body lotion. It was late and decided to tell the front desk the next day. When they were informed, they just shrugged and said they would take care of it. We got the soap and not the lotion. The cleaning lady left her cigarettes in our room. The room was not up to Novotel standards, very basic, composite wood flooring, no art, low quality furnishings - more like an Ibis hotel. And we paid extra for the sea view room. The windows leaked wind and sand. It is a great location, but the overall experience was not what we expect from Novotel. A disappointment!

Excellent location just steps from the main beach and about a five-minute walk to the main restaurants and attractions. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and professionally managed. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, reflecting the same care found throughout the property. Checkout time is 12:00, but our Spa treatment (an arrangement, booked with the room) only ended at 11:55. By the time we arrived at the room, the roomcard was already not working anymore. That’s really sad and it took us even more time to clear the room. Also, the breakfast could be so much better, with the same ingredients (bacon fried correctly instead of having up to four slices sticking together, warm instead of cold pancakes, real french croissants, …) Apart from these remarks: 10⭐️

The thalasso facilities and spa treatments were excellent. Staff were attentive and friendly. Ideal place to unwind and enjoy the calm of Le Touquet.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: The hotel’s location is perfect for beach runs, surfing, and other outdoor sports (not included in the hotel stay). Fitness-focused guests will find great complementary activities in the surrounding area. OVERALL: For endurance athletes, swimmers, or yoga lovers, Novotel Thalassa Le Touquet offers a solid base with good value. Strength-focused athletes may be disappointed by the gym setup. Pool is good, uses sea water and is nicely temperature controlled. |Breakfast provided a good selection although at busy times there were not always tables/seats readily available and towards closing time, hot food was not readily replenished.|Room was comfortable although it can be a long walk to get in/out if you're at the end of the building.|Town centre is a 10 - 15 minute walk away with plenty of restaurants to choose from if you want variety from the hotel.
