Lovely location on the beach, with beautiful views at breakfast (which was very nice). Rooms are clean although not massive. Staff at reception are very helpful and friendly. Food and drinks pricey. Pool is salt water which are kids didn’t particularly like. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location on the beach. Pool is good, uses sea water and is nicely temperature controlled. |Breakfast provided a good selection although at busy times there were not always tables/seats readily available and towards closing time, hot food was not readily replenished.|Room was comfortable although it can be a long walk to get in/out if you're at the end of the building.|Town centre is a 10 - 15 minute walk away with plenty of restaurants to choose from if you want variety from the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic room with amazing views. Great staff. The food was excellent. The swimming pool was the icing on the cake. Absolutely gorgeous! I would definitely recommend!

Novotel Thalassa Le Touquet offers a few pleasant surprises for fitness-minded guests — with some notable caveats. SWIMMING POOL: The standout feature is the 25-meter pool, a rarity in hotels and a real plus for dedicated swimmers. One lane is often reserved and free for lap swimming. However, there are no markings on the floor or walls, making it difficult to stay straight or time turns properly — especially challenging at one end where the water is extremely shallow (about 40–50 cm). Flip turns are nearly impossible there. Also, the saltwater can be irritating to sensitive eyes and mouths. FITNESS ROOM: The gym has a beautiful view and works well for cardio, yoga, or mobility training. There are treadmills and basic equipment available. However, strength training options are very limited — only a small selection of free weights, a cable machine, and a few kettlebells. Definitely not ideal for serious weightlifters. OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: The hotel’s location is perfect for beach runs, surfing, and other outdoor sports (not included in the hotel stay). Fitness-focused guests will find great complementary activities in the surrounding area. OVERALL: For endurance athletes, swimmers, or yoga lovers, Novotel Thalassa Le Touquet offers a solid base with good value. Strength-focused athletes may be disappointed by the gym setup. We have been using this hotel for a number of years due to its closeness to the channel tunnel. However, it is now vastly over priced and is ceasing to be good value. The rooms are OK but very expensive and the restaurant, which used to be good, is now very poor - bad quality food, poorly served and ridiculously priced. Avoid.

We stay in a family room every year - we love the location right on the beach, the family room has everything we need, the breakfast has a great selection and the dining room has a brilliant view. The swimming pool is also fantastic.

This was our 4th stay at this hotel. Located on the beach with ample parking. We had a sea view room, which was lovely and clean and a good size for a couple and 1 child. Buffet breakfast was excellent as usual with plenty to choose from. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

We came here 6 years ago and were looking forward to returning. ||Sadly, it’s regressed in that time. The hotel is still in a gorgeous location and the rooms are good. However, the issues are: ||The a/c is non existent/poor|The room was clean’ish but still had sand on the floor|The WiFi is terrible|Just had BBC World on the tv - no Chromecast|Dogs welcome but not really as we weren’t allowed in the restaurant but little children were and all that entails|Workmen seemed to be moving sand in diggers from one pile to another all day, right under our balcony - so annoying when trying to rest.|We hung a notice on our door not to be disturbed but housekeeping rang to ask if they could come in! No.
