Novotel Ulaanbaatar

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Ulaanbaatar Novotel. We had a comfortable room and the hotel has an excellent exercise room, pool and variety of restaurants. And we liked the location. We had one problem that was not resolved. Our room toilet did not work properly. It did not fill reliably after flushing it. We reported it the first time and a maintenance man got it to refill—but did not fix it. So it consistently did not refill. We reported it again but no one ever showed up to fix it. So for three days we had to take the lid off the toilet and play with the mechanism to get it to refill. That was not ideal, to say the least.

The staffs of this hotel are very friendly , courteous and professional. My special gratitude to MR. Arimi who had assisted me to locate and took me to a pharmacy to get the medication that I so desperately needed . My commendation is extended to him. |The room is very comfortable and good size . The only glitch is that the TV did not work. |Wifi is good

Had an excellent stay here. The location is very central, a few minutes' walk to the main square, the staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is good and the beer house restaurant is spacious with good food. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location. Within walking distance to the mall, coffee shops, and convenience store is right across the street. Room is big, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast and dinner are both okay. Delicious food.

Nice food in the restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful. Didn't stay here but heard the rooms were nice. Short walk to city centre. Luxury compared to other hotels in the area.

All staff were friendly and helpful. Room and common areas were all clean and comfortable. Wifi fault was attended to promptly. Breakfast buffet was ok but not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.

Good location north of the main plaza but expect long commute from the airport, last it took us more than 2 hours. Breakfast food is good and varied, nice for a good start of the day. Room is large and functional. Service is poor, we left room at 8am with a sign to clean the room and on the way back at 2.30pm... still not cleaned. You called desk to come and clean 2 hours later but they send someone immediately and that person knocks on the despite the red light do not disturb. Management needs to step in. Service is letting you down.

We stayed 3 nights arriving 2 am on day 1. We appreciated the 24hour check in and we loved the room and the service. Breakfast was good quality with an extensive range of choices. Service by staff was excellent.
