We stayed at Nozawa Peaks recently and loved it. It is very clean, the bedroom was comfortable and lovely and warm, the shared kitchen has everything you need, there was never a queue for the shared showers and there was an onsen a few minutes walk away. The slopes are a short walk away so no queuing for buses. The staff and other guests were so friendly. The information guide they provide is so helpful. Highly recommend.

Amazing spot with great service! Rooms are nice with traditional beds which were surprisingly comfy. Super close to the bottom chair lift so could quickly get up to the main gondola

We stayed with a family of 5 (kids are tween/teens). Lovely place: good, clean facilities. The communal kitchen and common room make it easy to socialise or escape from bedroom. |Located short walk from ski lift (not the main gondola, but the shuttle bus is easy to access that gets you into ski school). |The service is exceptional. Kain and his staff are generous with their time and helpful with hints and tips of the area.|The Nozawa Onsen location was a great introduction to skiing in Japan for us. We had very little previous experience and the kids loved it. The slopes had enough easy and challenging runs to make a weeks stay interesting.|The logistics details are thoroughly detailed on their website under FAQs. |In summary, my daughter said it was the best accommodation we have stayed at this holidays!

We had a fantastic stay at Nozawa Peaks. The room was comfy, shared bathroom was fabulous and very private, access to the kitchen was so useful and there’s a lovely spot to chill out in the lounge area. Very well run, super quiet and great location next to bakery, ski rental, shuttle to main gondola or short walk to chairlift. Thanks Kain for a wonderful stay! We’ll be back.

Nozawa Peaks is a very clean and quiet place to stay. Just a 3 minutes walk from the chairlifts of Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, you can just walk to it with your ski boots on. ||The down town area, with all the restaurants and bars is a nice 10 minutes walk from the property. There are different spots around for onsen baths. The location is great and the property, very comfortable.

We had a fantastic time staying with Kain and his staff at Nozawa Peaks. We traveled with 5. The room was perfect, we loved the kitchen area being able to make breakfast or a meal if needed. Wifi worked perfect the whole stay. And the location of the lodge to the nearest chair is only about 100m. Thanks again Kain, will see you soon.

Stayed seven nights with my family of five, in a very spacious and comfortable traditional Japanese room. There is a well equipped shared kitchen and living area, which makes it easy to self-cater if you desire, as well as to socialise with fellow guests. There are food options aplenty a short walk away in town, however an excellent okonomiyaki restaurant next door (suggest booking though)and a handy van across the road selling very tasty crispy chicken burgers and karaage. Food shops for self-catering are within easy reach. Ski gear is easy to manage, with plenty of space for preparing and a drying room. With a well equipped hire shop two doors away, and a short walk to the Karasawa chairlift, the ski experience was seamless. However the thing which really makes this place stand out is the dedication, thoughtfulness and efforts of the owner Kain, who is full of helpful advice and practical assistance, and very keen to ensure all his guests have a great time. Together with his staff, it is this personal touch and efforts which really make this place stand out.

Fantastic trip. We had amazing weather for skiing. Nozawa Peaks is a quick walk to the ski slope. There is a wonderful ski rental a block away. The drying room in the basement was very useful. The staff is wonderful and had lots of recommendations for us. We met wonderful fellow guests. We visited the snow monkeys and enjoyed trying out the local Onsens. Very cute little town.
