N+P Boutique Lodge

We absolutely loved our stay at N+P in Otto’s Chalet! The cabins look exactly the way they do in pictures. My husband, 2 kids (3y, 8m), and I loved how charming the space was and the attention to detail. The cabin is decorated beautifully and has everything you would need! The area is quiet, and far enough from the busy street, but close enough to restaurants, coffee shops, and the lake. The space is immaculately clean and smells beautiful! I would highly recommend this place; my toddler is already asking to go back to go back!

Everything was amazing! The cabin is great, very clean, and smells wonderful. Everything is organized at the highest level. We’re absolutely delighted and will definitely come back again. We’ve already recommended this place to our friends. The design is fantastic, especially the second-floor bathroom with the frogs. Overall, nothing but positive emotions and impressions. Otto’s Chalet was exactly as advertised: a quaint, modern and unique 2 bedroom cabin with everything you need for a cozy weekend in Big Bear. We went for the UTMB Kodiak Ultramarathon. This cabin is very close to Big Bear Village, we walked the .8 miles to the start line. The fireplace made this place warm and cozy. Also, the TV in the living room had full access to all streaming services. I highly recommend this booking.

This was my first time visiting Big Bear and I was incredibly impressed with my stay at N+P. As a 30 year old who travels 2-4x a month to boutique/luxury hotels. This stay felt as if I was in a luxury boutique in New York. The aesthetic, attention to detail, cleanliness and customer service was impeccable. To be honest, I am shocked the nightly rates aren’t double to triple. The location is in the middle of town and very easy to get to everything. I will definitely be back!

What a dream! It's the cutest place ever- beyond charming and stylish. Every little piece inside is thoughtfully curated and just makes it all the more fun. The cabins are in a perfect location, have all the amenities, and the A/C cools down quickly. Also the beds/pillows are super comfortable and the rooms stay nice and dark. We had the best time!

I traveled with my husband and 10-year-old son. Overall the lodge is beautiful and clean inside and out. The attention to the decor and small details throughout the cabins and grounds was impressive. It's also conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood which is a short walk to restaurants and a 4-minute drive to Big Bear Village. We look forward to returning in the Winter.

We originally planned to stay for just one night, but the moment we stepped into the cabin, we fell in love and decided to extend our stay for two more nights. We couldn’t stay in the same cabin for the entire time, as it had already been booked. However, the staff kindly arranged a smooth transfer to another cabin, and we didn’t experience any inconvenience at all. I’d like to compliment the designer—this place is a masterpiece! If you’re an aesthete like me, you’ll definitely appreciate it. Our 11-year-old daughter was absolutely thrilled; she examined every little detail and said this was the best hotel she’s ever stayed in. Everything was spotlessly clean! It felt like we were the very first guests. The kitchen is fully equipped for a quick breakfast or dinner. We will definitely be back—and hopefully more than once!

I was not sure if the place was going to be good based on the price I paid which felt like a steal. But the place did have excellent reviews, so I was willing to take a chance. I can manage if the place was not as expected, but with my family, I would not hear the end of it if it was not good. But really, the place exceeded my expectations. I like the retro look on the inside with every room curated to perfection. All systems worked great and most importantly the place was exceptionally clean. Also for a family of 4, we had the cabin to ourselves with a dedicated parking spot. So overall, the place is highly recommended.

Great stay and simple check-in process. We stayed during the summer so it was easy to get a reservation. There isn't a staff member on property so it's like staying at an Airbnb. Also want to note that the place was sparkling clean

We stayed here for our early spring Big Bear lake getaway. To be honest my feelings for this place are mixed. As a vacation rental it's great! Our Fran two bedroom house was spacious, very well decorated and very clean. A kitchenette with refrigerator, kitchenware, microwave and basic amenities. Bathroom with shower downstairs and a powder room upstairs. The bathroom design was not practical. It was very cold to take showers downstairs next to a window. The upstairs was scorching hot when heater was on. But downstairs especially bathroom was very cold. The beds and pillows were so comfortable to my surprise. The cabins are situated in a very quiet area which I liked a lot. There is a small recreational area with BBQ grill. The rate was about $400 a night which was pretty good for a two bedroom cabin. Hubby booked this place on Hotel. com so I thought it was a hotel. But it's NOT! It's a vacation rental so only basic amenities and NO services at all. Also we had to put towels in bathrooms and trash in trash bins before we left. On top of that we had to wash the plates we have used too! I am NOT a fan of cleaning after myself when I am on trips! That's why we always stay at hotels not vacation rentals! We usually leave good tips for housekeeping daily at hotels cause I tend to make a mess at times. So this cabin is a great choice as vacation rental but as a hotel it's not good at all. They didn't specify it as a rental cabin on hotel.com! I really didn't expect the lack of amenities (not even facial tissues were provided), zero services and extra work I had to put in during our stay! We might stay here again in summer but we have to be better prepared next time!

I booked a spontaneous 1 night trip to Big Bear and was SO blown away with my stay at Noble and Proper. Before booking I called the office to ask specific questions regarding the property and Emily was super helpful in answering all of my questions. She recommended local activities, restaurants, and gave me information about EV charging nearby in village. The property is in a fantastic location and is very close to the village. Having access to free bikes was much appreciated as my friend and I enjoyed a fun bike ride around Big Bear lake. The cabin's interior is STUNNING and aesthetically crafted. We stayed in Fran's Flat (as recommend by Emily) and I loved the design. Self check in was so simple! Th cabin included 1 parking adjacent to the cabin (additional guest parking is available), a front patio, two chic bedrooms with luxurious bedding by Parachute, a kitchen (fridge, microwave, tea kettle, French press), living room, two bathrooms, a television, and an electric fireplace. The entire cabin was so chic and modern which set's this accommodation apart from more traditional cabins in Big Bear. Also the cabin was exceptionally clean! I didn't want to leave! I loved it so much! I feel like I have found my new favorite cabin in Big Bear! I highly recommend booking a cabin at Noble and Proper. I'm so excited to return in the future.

It was such a great experience staying at Noble+Proper. The location was really close to everything. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Comfortable, luxuries, highly recommend! Especially wonderful through Christmas holidays!
