Google
We only ever come here for their yearly dog event but my pup loves this place! He’s zipping through every attraction at light speed with all his other pup friends. Lots of chairs and loungers for relaxing. A handful of food options. Overall very pleasant and looking forward to this year’s doggie beach bash.

Google
We hadn’t been here in years and we ended up having a blast. So many slides for my 5 year old to enjoy. The park was very clean and the bungalow hostess were great.

Google
I have been to multiple water parks here in the DFW area and I must say this is the BEST water park in our area! The staff is friendly, food prices are not bad at all, and you can bring in your own cooler with food and drinks! The BEST part is that you can see so many life guards around the whole park! I am very vigilant when it comes to watching my son especially near water and while I visited this park I noticed how vigilant ALL of the life guards are. My family and I will definitely be back! 😁

(Edited to add that we rented a beachside bungalow this time and it was incredible! Comfortably fit 18 people. Included a fridge and a safe. Space for toddler to nap. Includes free fountain drinks all day and an employee comes by to wait on you. They did a drone show too, which was super cool.) Great family water park. Something for all ages and levels of activity. Plenty of shade and seating. Love that you can bring a cooler. Shower as soon as you get out of the water though, because they chlorinate the heck out of that water and we were all itchy for days afterward.

Google
Season pass holder. We always get the season passes to bring a friend. We love the burgers from the grill. The food is actually pretty good. I'm a huge fan of the deep fried oreos too

Google
NRH2O is such a fantastic resource to have close to home. It’s amazing fun for the kids, it’s always clean & well staffed. I enjoy going every summer & taking my kiddo. Reasonable pricing & seasonal packages available too.

Google
Always a fun place to take the kids and cool off. The park is renovating during the winter months so new slides are on the way! Make sure to get here early as the good places to lay out or eat your lunch get snapped up quick.

Google
Not crowded. Great time! Food is ok and not too expensive. Bring swim shoes!!! The concrete sidewalks are Lava!!

Yelp
My husband and I went here for the Colors in Christmas light show. I couldn't find the event on yelp so I checked in NRH20 Family Waer Park. The light event was well-organized and the lines moved smoothly. Everyone followed the instructions to tune into the radio station for the music, drive under 20 mph, and turn off headlights. Since everyone around us listened to the staff, everyone was able to enjoy the light show. I was very impressed with the amount of lights and the song selections. A+! Thank you for organizing an amazing event!

Yelp
What a great time! So many fun things to do or just lay out and enjoy the kids playing. Had a hamburger and that was good too. We recommend this water park for sure

Yelp
Had a great time with my family and our H20 the water was cool and hot and wet enjoyed fabulous chicken fingers along with some ice cold Dippin Dots. The staff was great will definitely be back.

Yelp
Went yesterday with the family after not having been in years. It is run down looking and very expensive for what it is -- a small local water park. The wave pool hardly had any water? It seemed much more shallow than in the past. The front of the wave pool is roped off. For 3 people, it was over $100. To rent a locker was $17. They search your bags. Not sure what they are looking for? The bathrooms were filthy. Used to be a nice place. Sad. For what they chage the place should be immaculate.
google avatar

Aileen S.

Yelp
The facilities are filthy. The locker room, the bathrooms had standing water, spiders and webs, thick dust on the fan, light fixtures full of dead bugs, crusty sinks. Awful. You should hire a deep cleaning service to clean up your mess. Also the water levels in the lazy river and wave pool were too low for adults. For what you charge, everything should be spic n span.

Yelp
What a great water park! We live in Southlake and this place is only 15min away, free parking plus you can bring in coolers! We got a season pass for the summer and so we could enter 30min before gates opened. This was a great way to get on the rides where you needed a tube since later in the day the lines were long. We had no problem finding lounge chairs under the shaded canopy by the wave pool and left our cooler etc and no one bothered our stuff. By the time we left around 2p it was busy but there were still open seats and plenty of room in pools. I'm glad we got our season pass, it's saves us a ton of $$ and has great perks.
google avatar

Martha J.

Yelp
We went with a friend and had a lot of fun. Plenty of places to sit in the shade at, you can take a cooler of food. It was a little busy but the lines weren't that long.

Yelp
Make sure you come out for summer - awesome water park in one of the top 10 cities in the state of Texas: North Richland Hills (voted #6 best Texas city in 2022). The water park is part of our city -- well designed and maintained, easy online access to order your membership, clean and fun establishment, easy access to and from, plus great parking. Come enjoy what NRH has to offer, plus keep cool during the hot months. At the end of the season is the Puppy Day -- this is where you can bring your furbabies out on the last day of the season to swim and play in the water. This is a good fundraiser for NRH ANIMAL ADOPTION AND RESCUE CENTER . If you can't join with your pet, donations are accepted.

Yelp
So many rides... and they're big and high too! Costs much less than a certain indoor water park we know and love. Large free parking lot.

Yelp
It has been awhile since I reviewed NRH20 and so I figured it was time for an update. I still prefer this water park to the one in Arlington. We used to have passes, but let them go after the 2019 season. We just didn't go often enough to warrant the passes and after 2020 they cut the Friday night movies and fire works. They are attempting to try something new this year with a drone show on 7/22/23 but so far it's a one time try out after the success of the 4th of July drone show the City of NRH had. Pricing hack: They offer city resident discounts, though depending on the employees the city resident needs to come in your group. So find a friend who lives in or works for the city and pay a more reasonable price at the gate. Otherwise buy tickets online for cheeper price. As well some of the local libraries will get NRH20 tickets for kids for summer reading incentives. So check out the local libraries and get your kiddos reading. Adults don't qualify for the free tickets at our library, but my kids earned them which helped save us $, so worth it! You can bring in your own food & drink within reason. No glass for obvious reasons, and if your going to bring something like pizza or fast food, you need to take it out of the packaging & put it in zip lock containers. So honestly your best bet is chips, fruit, veggies, lunchables, etc in your cooler! If you want to splurge plan around $10 per person for a Dippin dots. Food in the park is over priced for what it is. Around $13-$14 for the various burgers I saw at the stand we walked by going to the lazy River. I couldn't tell if it came with fries or a drink. Which that used to be about as much as I paid for a meal when we first started coming here with my oldest. With that at least they allow for outside food and drink which other places don't, so your not being forced into feeling the need to pay those prices. Yes, there are ride closers, but I'm willing to miss out and on a slide or two if it means folks are safe on them. The wave pool, lazy River, etc has always been open when we've gone and those are a bit more my youngest kiddos speed.

Mo D.

Yelp
Came here for a field trip and can say it was pretty fun. Only thing we had an issue with is the amount of bees. None of the kiddos could each their lunches in peace without a bee bugging them

Mark B.

Yelp
Amazing place to take your family for water fun! Love that we can bring in an ice chest for water bottles.
google avatar

Veronica M.

Yelp
Went there today with family. 3 of the rides were down. And the Big Green Water slide was out of order. Honestly this place is not for me. I will not be coming back. I spent $17 on a cup to get unlimited refills: in order to get those refills they have a separate line for refills that is self service. The scanner was horrible, but not only that there always seemed to be a malfunction. It was horrible. There were not enough seating arrangements for the Amount of people there. Literally had to sit on the lawn.
google avatar

Mindy W.

Yelp
Cleaner and nicer than Hurricane Harbor. Free and super close parking! Deducting a star because several rides have never been operating - therefore, longer lines and wait times on other rides since it's way smaller than hurricane harbor.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
We just had our little one's birthday party here and everyone had a blast! The host was super nice, everyone at the park was very helpful, and the kiddos loved it. Even the pizza was decent.

Jacqui R.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing price for a day out with the family. Lines weren't too long, stairs were a bit hot in some areas so we waited in the shade. They provide FREE lunge chairs under cover, so you're not having to take your own chairs. Best to get the middle row inside as the sun eventually beats down on ya. The lifeguards were so attentive and friendly. They have a store with sunscreen, sunglasses, towels and water shoes for purchase. Advice: take a cooler, water, sandals and lots of SUNSCREEN!!!

Yelp
I'm visiting Texas and the weather the last few months was unbearable hot so I decided to spend some time at this water park. The only blessing was the senior discount I got. The temperature of the wave pool was ridiculous. I swear it was the temperature of a hot tub. In fact I heard a little boy tell his grandpa that the pool felt like his hot tub. He was t kidding. I went there to cool off but that wasn't happening in the wave pool. So I went over to the very small lazy river. The water was a bit cooler but after going around twice in less than 10 mi it's I was done. This seems like it would be a good place for little kids as there was lots of things for them to do. I can't imagine teenagers being thrilled about this water park either. The day I went a few big slides were closed and also the park is pretty run down and could definitely use some upkeep. I really liked the fact that I was allowed to bring a cooler with me for cold drinks and some fruit. For the amount they charge, they should have cold water constantly flowing in the wave pool. No one wants to swim in a hot tub when it's 107° outside!

Yelp
Came here for Dog Day at the end of the season. It cost about $20 per person for admission (which includes dog). It's been about 20 years since I had come here so it was nostalgia coming back in. They have expanded their (free) parking lot so it's a pretty good size, though be weary and hide all your belongings. I had a friend who's truck was broken into at their lot. They have an admissions window to purchase your ticket and once inside, lockers(Cost extra) to store your belongings. They do have free life jackets available for your youngens (or dog at no cost. The have a few food options around the park, burgers and what not and plenty of places to lounge around. They have quite a few pools, slides, kiddie areas to choose from. Lazy river and wave pool are the same as it's been for the last 20 years. Kiddie area was nice to start out with the pup and make our way around do the different pools. Overall a fun experience and awesome they allow to dogs in at the end of the season!

Yelp
We had an amazing time today! Since covid, we had to make reservations online prior to our arrival which was fine. We showed up at our designated time with cooler, towels and picnic blanket in hand. We found a nice shade spot and set up then went to the locker bank. They have a nice new computerized system now so you can either pay cash/credit for 3 option sizes of lockers that is accessible with your own passcode and access throughout your stay. We stashed our phones, money & purses/bags and locked it up. The lines we perfect! No huge waits for the rides, the inner tubes were sprayed with disinfectant after each rider gave them up at the "lazy river" and other rides. The amount of people there was perfect. It was just a great relaxing day! The ONLY thing that I would be nitpicking on is the concrete...OMG does that stuff get hot. I mean, panic hot...like painful hot! Every time we come home with burned feet...today too. We have to run from grass to shade to wet area to shade to grass, etc. I would think there could be a resolution to this. AND if you stop and rest your hot feet in the nearby "littles" area....whoohooo boy do the lifeguards give you the "get out" look with the occasional "Whistle blow". Ruins the experience a bit. We knew better this time but I did see others going thru it, even a young child (obviously too old for the baby area).....Hot feet is killer. Otherwise would have given this place 5 stars. ‍ Oh and a heads up, there's small, feet wounding "stickers" patch, behind the dipping dots stations by the wave pool...ran thru a patch in the grass trying to run from the hot cement...ended up with half dozen or so stickers along with burned feet.

Yelp
This place is awesome for the price! Perfect for preteens/teens. It's not as crowded or feel like people are all over each other like other water parks. Free parking. You can bring in your own chairs and coolers for free. Even the food pricing is great! You have to get a churro funnel cake!! It's the best thing I've ever had and so fresh and soft! Love it!
google avatar

Beck L.

Yelp
Easy access. Friendly and helpful staff. Kept in good repair with clean water and fun slides
google avatar

B R.

Yelp
If you're going to have so many slides closed you should discount the ticket prices.. Ridiculous...
google avatar

Debbie P.

Yelp
Took 3 teens today and only one slide open. You need to warn patrons that you have no slides open before they spend 30.00 plus to enter. Dropped the them off at 1:30 and picked them up at 3:00. What a waste. They said it was so crowded in the wave pool and lazy river because no rides were open except for the one slide. They went for the slides-this park has truly gone downhill fast.
google avatar

Sarrang P.

Yelp
I have been to this water park ever since I was a child and not much has changed! Its still really fun but this time since I am a lot taller and older, things do look less scary and big haha. I loved all the rides especially the viper (i believe its that but its the purple black green one that you ride a 3 seater green tube and ride along the slide to this big green tunnel to the end) and the big green slide that always has the long lines. On facebook, they had this deal going on where it was a bogo ticket so I went with some friends. Online it said tickets were 20 each but going there, it was 28 dollars each. So they probably need to update thier website because it was a lot higher than we expected. Everything was pretty fun but just watch out for bees.. so many bees and they just come around your table and it would suck to get stung!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this water park! Went with my family and my kiddos and boy we have a blast!!! My Kids love all the water slides. i stay chilled at the Endless river and it was a blast. We was drained out after 4hours or so there!!! Everyone was enjoying all the nice cool water! Will be back again next time.
google avatar

Nikki R.

Yelp
I really would like to give them 0 stars I've never been so disappointed in my life. Today is my sons birthday and we looked online for pricing didn't realize it would be different at the gate. So we bought tickets online... told us we could use the confirmation email at the gate. Paid it went through our card and we got no email. They refused to help us, said we needed to "try again" nope. Not for it to happen again. My son was now crying his 4th birthday ruined. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.
google avatar

Karen P.

Yelp
My family had free tickets to Hurricane Harbor, but after reading all the bad reviews we decided to go to NRH2O instead. I'm so glad we did! We went on a Wednesday when they opened at 10:00. I was concerned about getting chairs in the shade, but we had no problem. There were tons of shaded areas with lots of chairs. We were able to bring a cooler with water and sandwiches and rent a small locker for only $10. That makes it very affordable for families. Even later in the day, the park never became overcrowded. There are plenty of waterslides, a lazy river, a huge kids area, and a wave pool. It's also probably the cleanest waterpark I've ever been to. My only complaint would be that a couple of the waterslides were so fast and rough, I nearly got whiplash! But probably not a problem for most people! We had a great time, and I'm sure we will be back!

Yelp
NRH20 is a good waterpark. Its size is about perfect for wrangling 4 kids. We had a fun day. However, I think their lifeguards and food staff need therapy. Everyone was so depressed. Like dog died in a fire that destroyed their XBox depressed. Like parents just took away their iPhone for a day depressed. Like Snap Chat took away private messaging depressed. I haven't experienced anything like it and have been to a ton of waterparks, and it was Memorial day. Summer had just started! This is a problem when surrounded by high points and bodies of water. I might recommend a suicide watch soon as the summer progresses. You guys really need to focus on the front line of your customer service. It is terrible for your brand to experience such negativity and unfriendly people. I mean, they're teenagers. Seriously, how can life be that bad? I do have to say that the staff at the grill was great. Maybe they can train the rest of the staff.
google avatar

Charlotte M.

Yelp
Great time! Wish they had elevators but enjoyed the Lazy River. The big green slide that shoots you uphill was a THRILL

Lacy T.

Yelp
I paid $100+ more for an extreme value pass, which is supposed to provide a benefit of early entry. If you can get through the gate, they will let you into the park before opening, but the problem is that it is nearly impossible to get through the gate early. Everyone must stand in the same line, and this picture shows what the line looked like 20 minutes before opening this morning. I wish NRH20 would consider having a separate line for early entry guests, but nobody seems to care. Save yourselves the money and just get a regular pass. Also, I highly recommend that you bring your own food. You will wait no less than 30 minutes for extremely expensive burgers (cheapest burger is $11.50) that honestly don't taste very good. I personallyfind them hard to eat. It used not to be that way, but this year, they started pre-making them in an assembly-line fashion, and they're just not good at all. You There's no more vegetables like lettuce, tomatoes, onions or pickles, and yet theyre burgers have gone up in price. It's just really disappointing. Great park apart from their food, their prices, and their long unorganized lines.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
We have been coming here for years and it is usually great. Currently, several the rafts for the big rides are broken. They are still using what they can, but there are excessive wait times for the Viper and Green Extreme. Even if the line is short, you will be waiting much longer than you normally would. Also, one of the kids areas had a couple of slides that were either broken or turned off. I read on their website that the park is self-sustaining in that all maintenance and improvements are paid for by operating margins. It's concerning that, with 250,000 guests annually, all of the Viper rafts require extra air prior to each use and the Green Extreme is operating with only 3 rafts.

Yelp
Had a great time with, my family. I was there to celebrate my son and daughters birthday rented a sitting area (which was the best idea!) We came in around 5ish because the weather was 110 that day. When we came in we purchased the group entry and their staffed walked out group over to our assigned location. They had our name taped to the table and I brought cupcakes the staff to the cupcakes placed them in the refrigerator so they stayed cool around sunset we asked for the cupcake they got them to us quickly. They had lots of life guards in the kiddy area that would keep an eye on Children who rough housed and ran across the water which was wonderful because I was concerned since my son is a tiny little boy. The kids slides had a green light red light so kids did not hurt them selfs going down. They had lots of trees and shady area. You could bring some lawn chairs and a blanket and just sit down in the lawn section. Overall we loved our time there the only down side was their website when buying tickets and making the reservations had glitches and charged me for a ticket by later canceled and pended my account for 4 days. Other than that we would def be buying a membership or season pass to come by with the kids.

Yelp
What a fun day for our family. We did not get much of a true vacation this year because of work commitments so we chose to make up for it with a trip to NRH20. We were very impressed that we could bring a cooler in for free and this is the main reason why we chose this park over others. The rides were truly exhilarating and every one found something that they loved. There is room for two improvements. 1) restrooms turned into basic port-a-potties as the day worn on. They should have been maintained throughout the day, but they were not. It really felt like I was standing in about 2 inches of pee by 9 pm abs it smelled that way too! 2) the teens that run the attractions did not do a great job of crowd control. They do not rush anyone along to make wait times go faster. They are all acting like they are on island time. If no one at the top of the stairs wanted to be on a particular ride then do be it. They were not about to try to ask for the next few people if they wanted that slide...to make the line go faster. I think I could have done a great job of moving folks along faster abs making everyone have a better experience. Overall, we will be back. Might call a manager and make the above suggestions
google avatar

Talal M.

Yelp
The manager of the food joint should be fired. There are only two kids grilling burgers. The wait was 45 minutes. By the time we got our burgers, the soda became flat and the fires became cold. UNACCEPTABLE !!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Kelsey W.

Yelp
Such a great place to visit. Love that it's always well kept, and clean. We threw our daughters birthday party here (without actually having to throw a party). Finding a table was easy, and they were very helpful keeping out cake refrigerated. They even announced her birthday over the intercom without even being asked. Just an all around great experience. Also love that you can bring coolers in. Only down side is the price of admission will get you.
google avatar

Manuel H.

Yelp
The park was very clean and the rides were alot of fun. I especially liked the Green Extreme and the Viper. I was extremely hungover when reaching the endless river where I laid and enjoyed the relaxing adventure. The staff was extremely helpful and knowleadgeable. This place is better than Disneyworld and Six Flags combined . If I were to die and go to heaven, this is what heaven would be like.
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
This water park is great. There is always some sort of special event from fire works to dive-in-movies to a radio station being on site. The park has something for everyone from the newborn to through adulthood. There are swim lessons for the kids before the park opens, season passes and always plenty of short lines to take advantage of. This years addition of the beach volleyball and adjacent pool have been a huge plus. Kids love the volleyball and my 4-year-old loves the sand for castle building. They have individual and tube slides, wave pool, lazy river, itzy bitzy slides, 6-inch deep water with play grounds and so much more. Bring your water wings and ice chest, but leave the McDonalds at home. Fridays and Saturdays are busy, but week days are great! Come often and enjoy a great park.
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
Went there with my family it's awesome! Great place for the whole family super clean affordable and stuff for all ages will definitely be back!
google avatar

Vicki S.

Yelp
Great Waterpark. This was our first time, and it is the cleanest water park I've ever attended. The staff was nice and the crowds were minimal on a Thursday. We bought our tickets online at the door at the staff suggestion and saved about 40 bucks.
google avatar

January R.

Yelp
We saved NRH20 for our final "end of summer" activity and it was... okay. There were a few good slides (two slides weren't running before we even got there and by the end of the day there were four total shut down). Viper and the "roller coaster" slides were both great but you do have to wait in line for a long time even if the lines are short. (30 min minimum for Viper and 45 min minimum for Green Extreme.) The wave pool was fun! We didn't have little kids but still enjoyed the water playground a bit. The other tower slides were great but like I said we were bummed when several of them were closed. The lazy river was literally dirty and two of our party cut their foot on the paving of it. Loved the loaded funnel cakes. We rented in the Forest at the back of the park but just be specific which ones you want (#6 is perfect) because some have water poring down on them from the ride above and they are muddy underneath. The forest rentals are cheaper than the cabanas and actually have shade all day (the cabanas and luxury loungers were not shaded for most of the day). But you can't book those online. Additionally, we paid but there were several families who were just using them for free. It just seemed kinda run down and borderline gross compared to the far superior but equally expensive Hawaiian Falls in The Colony.

Karen A.

Yelp
Awesome time. Plenty of room for everyone, even if you don't rent/reserve a cabana or lounge area. Safe and inviting. Area for the younger kids was great for my little one to splash around in all day. Lines for water slides for a little long in the afternoon, but my older two didn't mind it.
google avatar

Chloe K.

Yelp
Be warned tickets need to be bought online before hand they are more expensive at the gate. Other then that we had a blast. I read a lot of reviews regarding the life guards but they seem awake and attentive to me. I actually saw them helping a small unattended child find his parents. We went durning the week(Tuesday) and wasn't too crowded, lines weren't to bad. Will definitely come back could easily spend a whole day here.

Joel P.

Yelp
I hate to say it but this place seems like it's closing. The waterfalls are off, the fountain at the entrance is off. The purplepalooza and the double dipper are closed until 2022. The straight slides with the blue mats are out of service, and NOWHERE on the website is any of this mentioned. The best things for kids under 48" are gone, and lines for what is left l have tripled because of it. It's a sham that they're still selling tickets at full price.

MuniraNRahil S.

Yelp
Took the kids here on a Saturday and they had a blast. Jerod (Manager) made the experience much more pleasant. Thank you Jerod for going the extra mile for my family and waiving the fee for our nurse. There is a kids play land, big slides for adults and a decent size wave pool. I am definitely going back!

Yelp
LOVE this water park. In my honest opinion I think it's the nicest waterpark in Fort Worth. I have been coming here since I was a kid and like fine wine it's only getting better with age. I love the kids area!! I love that I can go in there with my niece and nephew! I can do the slides with them and that is amazing. Something you can't do at Six Flags or any other waterpark I have been too here in the area. My nephew is a small 5 and he can do mostly all the rides including the green xtreme. When it rains they give you vouchers to come back. And last but not least CLEAN! It's SO CLEAN!!

Yelp
This was a very disappointing visit. In fairness to NRH20, part of it was not their fault. Because of a mud slide, a decision was made to close the lazy river and wave pool in order to allow the water filters to clear up the mess Not your fault...it is because of a natural disaster, along with the cheerful staff is the reason you got two stars. What I don't understand is why you have five slides shut down at the beginning of the season. Why on memorial day weekend are you having landscapers put in grass and working on the maintenance of five slides? You would think that would've been work completed in the spring. The other big issue is that on the two open slides you don't have enough rafts. On one of the rides you had only 2 rafts. Wait line was over an hour. Bottom line, I'd suggest customers go to Hawaiian Falls.

Yelp
Such a great, family friendly, manageable water park! This is a smaller water park, but still manages to have some really fun slides!!
