NRMA Cairns Holiday Park

I stayed at the NRMA Cairns Holiday Park for 4 nights. And I have to say it was really very quiet. The holiday park can't be blamed for the heatwave, because it was already a bit warm in the tent :-) Otherwise there is a pool. Unfortunately there aren't enough loungers. It's first come, first served. There is a laundry where you can wash your things. A cooking area with lots of fridges is right next to the campsite. And what's really good is that the internet is stable and fast everywhere on the campsite. A small lounge with a TV right next to the laundry was a great place to cool off during the heatwave.

Super friendly personnel, nice and big kitchen, unfortunately male amenities smell like one big piss since over a week!, shower semi working, half broken and quite dirty in general. You should work on the cleanliness of your facilities. Another plus for the good location and easy connection to the rest of the town.

I had a great stay at NRMA Cairns Holiday Park. The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was excellent. The only downside was the limited facilities for kids. Overall, a pleasant experience and would recommend for families looking for a quiet, relaxing stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Decent sized lot. Clean amenities. A little far from city center but we were aware of that and it was a 12 min Uber ride from the airport. Great value for the price.

Great location, but park infrastructure very tired. Caravan sites very small, trouble finding space for 4WD. Great shady trees, however they are variety that drops excessive leaves. Appears no attempt by park managers to tidy up leaf 🍁 litter at all. When we arrived, our concrete slab was covered with leaves, that had been there for quite a while.

Powered ensuite site, clean and newly built. Lovely little pool. Leafy shady sites very friendly and helpful reception staff. Little cafe on site. About 5 min easy drive to main shopping precinct.

Great affordable place to stay in Cairns! Located a few miles from downtown, and close to the airport. There’s buses that run a few blocks away from the park and one can also use Uber to/from the airport. They have a little convenience store and coffee shop, and campground facilities for campers and RV’s too.

Not a bad little camp, sites were pretty tight. Amenities were very nice and clean. No a bad little pool. Pretty noisy as close to airport and main road but really not a bad spot for a couple of days. |Staff were really lovely and very welcoming, it was rush time so they were run off their feet.
