NRMA Eastern Beach Holiday Park

Great park with lots for families. Was full every night we were there but still quiet. Sites are big enough but not over generous so good reversing needed as most cars parked along road side.

The location was close to the beach and the cabin was very spacious and well set out, however it was disappointing. We realised later that we hadn’t been given the cabin we actually booked, but we weren’t advised of this change. Overall it wasn’t very clean. The dishes we got out of the cupboard were dirty. The oven tray was especially dirty and after scrubbing that and preparing our food to cook we discovered that the oven didn’t work which was quite inconvenient.The shower curtain was short so water went everywhere around the toilet and there was a squeegie mop there to scrape it away. Advised reception on leaving of the problem with the broken oven and was just told no problem and don’t worry about it. Also wrote feedback later to point out that we had not got the cabin we booked but didn’t receive any response. Our review through Boooking dot com, which they requested, was never published. Most places we stayed on a 3 week road trip were better maintained and less expensive. Won’t trust those reviews again.

Enjoyed our stay in a dog friendly cabin at NRMA Eastern Beach recently. Lovely clean cabin in a nice location next to the water. The park offers a range of accommodation operations to suit most people. Facilities were clean and tidy and staff were welcoming. Will definitely return for another visit soon.

We really like this park. Its location is next to Eastern beach and tucked away down a side street so it was nice and quiet. The park has plenty of sites in good sections of the park. The amenities was very clean and near by. They also had a nice heated pool.

A very pleasant surprise! After some less than exciting cabins on this trip, this experience was greatly appreciated. Very clean, tidy, warm, value for money and well resourced. Beds for five, two AC’s, and plenty of storage. The BBQ on the balcony was a bonus but didn’t get hot enough we thought. Anyway, a nice way to finish off the five week holiday before heading home. |Really enjoyed the warm welcome from the young lady at reception. |Thank you guys.

What a disappointment this Caravan Park became in the end… Park itself is great, layout, facilities and cleanliness, however no one respects the 10pm quiet curfew and it’s loud late into the night. (Mainly teenagers… hard when you have small children trying to sleep) Cars and people come and go at all hours… On our last day during the day I observed teenagers throwing tennis balls at a young family’s tent, and then late at night I happened to walk past and again observe the same teenagers throwing water at that same family’s tent. What an appalling disgrace these young men and women were. How disrespectful. I did see security wandering late that night and alerted them to the fact. We were contemplating staying an extra couple of nights when we arrived as the location and beach is so great, but we wont even consider coming back at all in the future nor would we recommend.

Unfortunately the management of this place has completely failed to meet any expectations. I haven’t been to this park in two years and this year’s visit was a complete disappointment. There was vomit in the women’s toilet sink for an entire day, two soap dispensers were not filled for over two days leaving the toilet completely without soap. The toilets and showers were filthy for my entire week stay and I don’t believe they were cleaned more than once a day, even though the park was at capacity. There was human poo on a toilet seat for a few hours, multiple toilets were clogged. The reception staff were rude, there were no children’s activities or movie nights, the food vans were cancelled, when raised with reception who couldn’t care less they said NRMA were to blame for cutting their budget. There was no vibe in the park, everyone complained about the lack of cleanliness and unfortunately my stay was well below expectations, especially in comparison to previous years. We won’t be back and will be finding an alternative caravan park.

Great modern villa if you don’t mind being away from the motel strip. Clean and tidy. Good size. Comfy bed. Double had electric blanket which was good. Two single beds didn’t which was a shame. Split system in lounge not enough to warm bedrooms. |Very quiet!
