The sex now exhibition is okay, I expected it to be more interactive but it was fine. A little heavy in the M&M side I feel. I experienced male people rush through the exhibit cause they didn't wanna see so many male genital pictures and forms. So it was a bit heavy on this side and I missed the variety...

Really enjoyed the Wonderwalls exhibit. Quite provocative. Fairey posters were amazing. It is quite a small exhibition though, basically just two rooms, so felt quite short in terms of a museum visit. Unfortunately, ground staff were a bit rude and abrupt. Honestly don't see how having my tiny designer handbag on my back versus my shoulder makes a difference. It's not a backpack. And he was so rude when he was telling me to take it off my back.

Like with all museums your like or dislike depends very much on your own taste and which exhibitions are currently on. My idea is that you just immerse yourself in art and see what comes of it Visiting this museum is not different. Just wonder through the spacious galleries and see what comes of it

While I can appreciate art galleries, this one stood out to me for not pleasant reasons. The building unfortunately is not big enough to house internationally famous artists witch creates lines out of the door around the building. And the waiting room/cafe has unique but quite uncomfortable seating. Otherwise it’s a big space to house and display great art.

Visited a free Japanese design exhibition with a friend. Great place for the artwork to shine, has a cute café just inside, easy to find from the subway stop and was free!

This exhibit was exactly the kind of contemporary art I really like. This was an excellent showcase of how American hip hop culture has diffused across the world and how different artists interpret street art.

Your superhero museum. Many industrially engineerd plastic statues of superhero's. It was not a very long visit, but personell was really friendly and I had the opportunity to meet my superheroes in real life ;-) Enjoyed it.

Yelp
Contemporary art isn't modern art. Most of the time, contemporary art goes right over my head but I still find a few things here and there. Such was the case here with interesting and unique pieces. One was the apple. As near as I can tell, this is titled "*" (yes, just asterisk) by artist Noriyuki Suzuki. It is an apple surrounded by an armillary sphere and it's watching the apple slowly deteriorate from all angles. "Between the Clouds" by artist A.A (no . after the second A) Murakami. It is a machine creating a fog patch and fog rings. Every few seconds, it inhales and blows a ring of fog. If you've ever seen someone smoking and blowing smoke rings, it's that. The toddler who was here at the same time as me seemed to enjoy poking the rings as they made their way across the exhibit room. Other exhibits defy description. You're just going to have to go to the NRW-Forum yourself and check it out. [Review 16377 overall - 182 in Germany - 1884 of 2021.]

Yelp
Easy exhbition of pictures related to fashion of the 70's and 80's. Nice the flashback to the elegance and glamour of those years! Interesting the possibility to download an app for your iPhone to listen to the audioguides for free. Free wifi connection.

Yelp
Unique arts and culture venue - had the pleasure of catching their Catwalks show in July and it was pretty astounding - have seen nothing like it before. Plus they do English tours for expats in Duss!
