Nu House is located in a trendy tourist area. It’s a nice hotel and our room was decent size for Quito. The furnishings in the room were all new/up to date and the bathroom was pretty cool with the stone tiles. The rooms do have AC, televisions, and mini fridges. The street scene outside was a little noisy at night, but once you close the double windows, it really blocked out the sound. The hotel does have an elevator and daily breakfast, which included fruit, cereal, bread, croissants, cheese, eggs, breakfast meats, juice, etc. ||||The hotel is located right next to coffee shops, good restaurants and is 1 block down from the Boho artsy area. ||||The highlight of our visit was the night staff though. We arrived at about 1:00am on a Sunday so everything was closed down (no vending machines, grocery stores, or restaurants). But after a 9 hour flight we were both very hungry. The night clerk Javier and another gentleman were kind enough to share their leftover dinner with us (yes their own personal). The gesture was so touching and we were very grateful. And it definitely cemented our preference for this hotel!

We travelled to various places in Ecuador. Started off for 2 nights at Nu house and returned 3 times each for 1 night. Each time we felt very welcome and well looked after, the staff were without exception friendly and helpful.( A special mention to a lovely man who took our luggage up to our room and looked after it whilst we travelled to the jungle and Cotopaxi, I wish I had asked his name.) The hotel is in a good location close to lots of restaurants and bars. Even with the good double glazed windows it can be a bit noisy at night if your room faces the square, ear plugs sorted that out! There are quieter rooms which we stayed in after the 1st two nights. The beds were comfortable, (may need an extra blanket on the more chilly nights). The showers were very good, spacious with plenty of power. Breakfast was nice with enough choice and different fresh juices each day. The rooms have a safe. If we ever find ourselves in Quito again we will definitely head straight for this hotel.

This hotel is in the heart of Plaza Foch in the Mariscal District. Great location for walking to restaurants and bars. We also did the Quito bus tour and the hotel was right by a ticket sales and pick up point. Room was very clean and modern. Breakfast is included at the restaurant next door. There were not many options for vegans but it was sufficient.

Due to the nature of our tour of Ecuador we stayed at the hotel four times. The hotel is fairly modern in look. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. We used three different rooms and they all had comfortable beds and decent showers. The restaurant offers only breakfast but there was a choice of fruit, eggs and sausage, chicken stew or bbq chicken and roasted potatoes, yoghurt, ham, cheese, croissants, bread rolls, cereal, milk fruit juice and coffee from 6:30 - 10:00. The hotel is situated on the edge of Miriscal Foch square. The square is packed with restaurants and bars and full of life every night. The two rooms we preferred were 407 and 103 which were away from the square and so quieter. 407 looked across buildings and up to mountains which we liked best. Inbetween visits we were able to leave some luggage at the hotel, for no extra charge, enabling us to travel lighter to other parts|

I loved my stay in this hotel. The food was fresh and tasty. Additionally the hotel is near the city center. The staff is friendly and professional. I will stay there next time I get to Quito. I loved the nightlife around the property. As for the restaurant, finding delicious rice in the breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise.

This hotel is right on the Plaza Foch which is busy all night long. The fact they provide you with ear plugs tells you everything! But with the windows closed (there is A/C) and if you live in the middle of a city anyway, you shouldn't have any problems (even without the plugs). The location is really convenient for anything you want to do and the arts and crafts market is a short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful and complimentary breakfast buffet was set up next door, which worked fine and a good enough selection of hot and cold food. You also get a voucher for some free cocktails at Urban, across the square (which happens to have happy Hour 2 for 1 between midday and 8pm) and discount vouchers for nearby restaurants. The rooms are pretty spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom, shower has good water pressure. There is a safe in the wardrobe. If you have mobility issues, you might want to check with the hotel as the lift is in between floors so there's probably 6 or 7 steps (only) either up and down to your room floor.

Nu house was the perfect place to stay. Great location outside plaza foch. Easy to walk to bars and restaurants. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast. They arranged transportation to and from the airport for our group with a ton of luggage. They even held the luggage after we checked out until our late evening flight. I highly recommend them for your stay in Quito.

We stayed in Quito at this hotel for five days. The check in time is 1400h. When we reached the hotel at 1100h we were accommodated at the same time. We were offered tea n coffee on arrival (which was a very sweet gesture). This is located at the party hub of Quito. Breakfast timing is from 0630h. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to enjoy a central location.
