Numa Salzburg Mozart

A very clean and comfortable place to stay in Salzburg in easy walking distance of the city centre. Note that there is no in person reception but if you download the Numa app, everything you need to know about your stay including your room access code, check-in/check-out times is clearly displayed there. We were given complementary beer, soft drinks and water in our room which was a nice surprise when we arrived. Being able to store our luggage in lockers in the lobby of the hotel was a triumph and saved as carrying everything around with us until our room was ready. We were contacted via WhatsApp to confirm that our room was ready to check in early which was also a nice surprise. I would highly recommend staying here.

We loved staying at Numa during our trip to Salzburg. We stayed in the large room with balcony - The room was beautiful, BIG, nicely decorated and clean. We loved the location. Street parking was easy. Free from 9pm- 9am making our parking extremely affordable just a few euros each day while we were traveling. We needed some easy dinner options the day we arrived and as a snack before dinner and went to Mr Wen twice right around the corner. We opted to not do breakfast and instead grab something elsewhere. This hotel is more like an air bnb with no front desk but it worked great for us. We probably will never come back to this city but we’d recommend staying here to anybody traveling in.

Based on our experience, not worth the money. The room itself is decent, and the breakfast deliveries worked well. HOWEVER…||During our stay (so long after we had booked) we were emailed to be informed that some maintenance would be carried out on the windows. This then woke us up at 0600, when men outside were drilling noisily at the windows and peering in at our small children. Apparently there’s nothing NUMA can do about this…||Additionally the room lacks some of the promised facilities (hairdryer, drying rack) and the ‘kitchen area’ has no sink! Curtains damaged even though this is sold as a new location. Cleaning was booked (and paid for) as an extra but was not performed (apology from NUMA now accepted but…?). ||Being non-staffed as an enterprise might cut their overheads but when something isn’t good, there is no one on site to speak with. ||We paid more for this than we would have done for a ‘standard hotel’. We won’t use NUMA again.

A great hotel for a weekend break. The room was clean and well designed. WiFi was excellent. Would recommend for family and couples.

Charming hotel good location just 10 min walk to city center. However, very disappointing that there is no reception desk, no service. We paid for a breakfast service 18euros per person, very poor/mediocre buffet and below expecations. No fresh fruits, no croissants remaining, price overly exagerated for what you receive in return. We booked 2 nights, there is no cleaning service unless you book 8 nights. This information was not provided on booking. Furthermore, we were parked just outside on a quiet side street and got a parking ticket. It would be convenient to have someone to talk to at reception desk for advice. Hotel not recommended, very disappointing.

An amazing stay. A real gem of a hotel brand and a new favourite. So refreshing when everything just works and is great. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, PIN code works really well! Hotel text to say room would be ready at 11am. This was 4 hours early which I thought was great and not expected. Handy lockers to leave luggage if needed. I also messaged in app to ask for 2 extra pillows which were duly delivered for us. Great, prompt service. Nice big walk in shower, nice grind coffee machine…from now on it will be the first hotel company I look for when travelling. Great stay!

A lovely hotel room with easy check in and in a great location. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were great. Bed was comfortable and lovely decor. Would definitely recommend 😃

This is an apartment style hotel, so there’s no reception/front desk. If you need any information or answers to questions, it’s right there in their app. I appreciate that there’s a PIN code required to enter the building and into the rooms. Personally, I don’t like dealing with key cards. I booked two rooms and both were so elegant. From the furnishings to the lighting, everything was perfect. Whoever is the designer has wonderful taste. In contrast, the breakfast buffet was sparse. The only warm item offered was coffee. Ironically, it’s served in their restaurant on site, but it seemed like there were no cooks. Not a huge deal, though. It was still a great stay!
