Location was right above the best brunch/tapas bar on the street! Room was very spacious and had great a/c for staying during the hottest months in Spain. A very relaxing space to come back to after walking many miles.

We absolutely loved our stay at Numa Roca Rooms in Barcelona! The place itself is charming, modern, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect blend of comfort and style. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and had such a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. What truly stood out was the amazing team at Numa. They were incredibly thoughtful and responsive, always going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. From quick replies to our questions to little touches that made our stay more enjoyable, their hospitality was top-notch. The location was also fantastic—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore Barcelona’s highlights. We would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back! Thank you to the Numa team for making our trip extra special!

This was my fourth stay at a Numa property, so it's safe to say I'm a fan....hoping for a loyalty scheme to be introduced!||Roca was initially a bit confusing, as the rooms are actually in two separate buildings a few doors apart on the same street. I ended up trying to get into the wrong building and wondering why the door code didn't work. Once I worked out where the correct building was I was able to get in and use the luggage storage until I could check in. ||This is a great location, right next to a Metro station, shops, bars and restaurants. The street has been pedestrianised and has created a very pleasant atmosphere. The former crossroads nearby have be turned into a lovely public square with plenty of seating etc. ||The room itself was good, although felt like a little maintenance was needed, The original tiles were a nice feature, but some were a bit loose and a few were missing from the shower cubicle floor. Pretty much every coat/towel hangar was loose, as was the wash hand basin in the bathroom. The balcony was a nice feature, although some net curtains would have been nice, as there was very little privacy with the curtains open in the room. My main gripe was the lack of any kitchenette like a lot of Numa rooms have, not even any plates or utensils. I believe there was a kitchen area as well as some shared public spaces in the other building, but that felt very inconvenient. Also the clothes rail was pretty useless, as the fridge underneath it meant there was no room hang anything up. There was a little noise from adjacent rooms, but not enough to really bother me. It was nice to have air con, but was it barely needed with the balcony door open. The bed was fantastic, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable and the bedding was good quality. It seems the toiletries provided in the bathroom have changed since my last stay. It's nice they are still provided, but the hair conditioner had a strange cheesy smell.....||Overall, perhaps the least best of the four Numa properties I have stayed at, but I still enjoyed the stay, it was a great location for seeing all of Barcelona and I didn't find anywhere else that looked better at the price I paid.

We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but we shortened our stay to one night because of a cockroach. We just arrived in our room (room 4 building 85) and wanted to freshen up after our flight, but we couldn't even do that because we suddenly saw the giant cockroach. I immediately contacted Numa via whatsapp. After a short conversation with the chatbot, Christiana took over the conversation a few minutes later. We immediately got the only available room (room 8 building 81). Even though we were in another room without a cockroach, we decided to cancel our other nights because we were very stressed and didn't feel comfortable anymore. Maybe this was a one-time situation, but besides the cockroach it wasn't that clean. Also room 4 would only be cleaned the next day (maybe because it was a sunday), but I think they should have come immediately before the cockroach could hide or escape the room. We really regret that our trip had to start like this because we had a lot of trust in Numa, we believe in the concept and Numa Roca is perfectly located. I want to thank Cristiana and Hugo again for their service and understanding. The refund of our unused nights were deposited the next day. As an apology and compensation we were offered a 30% voucher for a next stay. I appreciate the gesture, but with all due respect this doesn't mean much to us.

Horrible stench coming from bathroom pipes, this accommodation is not fit for living.|Absolutely no response from the staff until 48hours later, i was stuck in this room, with literal smells of human feces reeking from the bathroom. Im honestly at loss of words. |Numa wrote to me 24hrs to offrr 20% off a future booking. Needless to say im never returning to a Numa property in my life|As a frequent business traveler i cant afford these malfunctions

- Cold showers, only warm water for 4 mins - Tv (not a smart tv) doesn’t have any channels - Floor is dirty, the whole place is (especially bathroom) - Towels contain hair of previous guests - Hangers and wall mounts are rusty and close to falling out. - There’s no noise insulation so you hear everyone in the hallway and they hear you. - You have to go outside to a different building down the street to get toilet paper. - Even the coffee cups are too big for the coffee machine - You have to pull the fridge from the wall to hang your clothes?!?

This is not a 3 star hotel it's one star maybe 2. The floors are filthy. The room smells like mold. The service is all digital and so you can't get any actual customer service. (Though the online staff are very pleasant when you actually can reach them) I have spent over 300 nights this year in air bnb or hotels. This is only my second negative review. This has been my absolute worst experience. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I feel like people should be warned. They offered to switch my room so I came back from visiting friends so I could do it at a decent hour then it took like 2 hours for them to be organized enough which put it past midnight. On the plus side the location is good and their soap products are nice as is their tea selection. But would never recommend staying here. The room I moved to at least doesn't stink like mold but... All in all a terrible experience! ps these photos are from the better of the two rooms.

We stayed in Barcelona for 3 nights and the room was great! Perfect location near tapas bars and cafes. The room was a good size and offered amenities like shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, coffee/tee, a refrigerator. The digital check-in was smooth and easy and communication via WhatsApp was no issue. The reason for 4 stars is most people staying here may need to store their luggage before they can check into the room or after they check out - the “lockers” are small and few. When we arrived there were two lockers available that only worked for 3 of our 6 bags. Be advised - there’s 5-7 lockers available for 10 rooms and they are no larger than a 25” wheeled suitcase.
