Numa | Roca Rooms & Apartments

This is not a 3 star hotel it's one star maybe 2. The floors are filthy. The room smells like mold. The service is all digital and so you can't get any actual customer service. (Though the online staff are very pleasant when you actually can reach them) I have spent over 300 nights this year in air bnb or hotels. This is only my second negative review. This has been my absolute worst experience. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I feel like people should be warned. They offered to switch my room so I came back from visiting friends so I could do it at a decent hour then it took like 2 hours for them to be organized enough which put it past midnight. On the plus side the location is good and their soap products are nice as is their tea selection. But would never recommend staying here. The room I moved to at least doesn't stink like mold but... All in all a terrible experience! ps these photos are from the better of the two rooms.

- Cold showers, only warm water for 4 mins - Tv (not a smart tv) doesn’t have any channels - Floor is dirty, the whole place is (especially bathroom) - Towels contain hair of previous guests - Hangers and wall mounts are rusty and close to falling out. - There’s no noise insulation so you hear everyone in the hallway and they hear you. - You have to go outside to a different building down the street to get toilet paper. - Even the coffee cups are too big for the coffee machine - You have to pull the fridge from the wall to hang your clothes?!?

We stayed in Barcelona for 3 nights and the room was great! Perfect location near tapas bars and cafes. The room was a good size and offered amenities like shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, coffee/tee, a refrigerator. The digital check-in was smooth and easy and communication via WhatsApp was no issue. The reason for 4 stars is most people staying here may need to store their luggage before they can check into the room or after they check out - the “lockers” are small and few. When we arrived there were two lockers available that only worked for 3 of our 6 bags. Be advised - there’s 5-7 lockers available for 10 rooms and they are no larger than a 25” wheeled suitcase.

The code system (instead of key) was great, so easy. I had everything I needed, and fbe neighborhood was super convenient. The ambience of the common areas was so smooth, so welcoming. The cleaning woman was lovely, friendly, each time I bumped in to her. The rooms were gorgeous.

Pretending to be a hotel on Booking and other platforms but actually more an AirBnB. No reception, no housekeeping, no breakfast (unless box ordered in time), storage of baggage not guaranteed. Response time of 35min for a simple question (instead of promised 5-10min). Keep away from.

Had a fantastic stay! The location and room were incredible, and we loved the small terrace where we could enjoy a drink. The common areas were cozy and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I have visited quite some places but this was the first time I checked out immediately. The worst experience ever!||When I arrived to the room, there was a horrible smell all over the place coming out from the bathroom. I reached out to the property but got no immediate help.||The walls were so thin that I could hear everything, both from the inside (from entrance and shared space at least) and outside (ongoing construction on the building nextdoor).||The terrace was all surrounded by tall buildings, so there was close to zero natural light. Window was single glass so I could feel cold coming from the outside.||The place was not that clean either. All the furniture is outdated. There is cold dark floor that I was affraid to step on with bare foot. Bathroom equipment is getting rusty.||After reaching out to the property they only promised to check the bathroom the next day. And after a while they offered earplugs located in a wardrobe in another building? They did not comment on any other issue or come up with any solution. They would left me to sleep in cold, noise and bad smell.||I checked out right away to not risk any health issues and moved to a 4* hotel that was even cheaper and closer to the city center. ||I demanded refund for unused nights but they refused and only offered 10€ from the original 500€ paid. How generous. I take it if I would cancel in advance but not when you arrive and find so many issues in person. You better spend your money somewhere else. I will never book with numa again.

I have never written a review before, but this time I feel like it's necessary. For a hotel that is so expensive and claims „3 stars“, this is nothing better than a hostel. As we arrived, we quickly realised, that you can hear everything, and by everything I mean everything, through the walls. It basically sounds like people are in your room. For a deluxe room, you get a small room with no storage space and a balcony with little seethrough bushes between the other balconies - so no privacy.||The worst part was the night. As you can hear everything, I woke up multiple times. At 2 am, one of the guests then decided to come home with loud music which you could already hear from the entrance, just partying their way into their room, which was the room after the room next to us. You could also hear everything. This was the worst night ever I slept in a hotel.||We contacted staff: They suggested security or ear plugs. Well, thanks for nothing.||PS: i used earplugs - didnt work
